The location of this hotel is close to the highway but it really isn’t anything special. It is just a place to drop your bags and not plan to spend much time in the room. My big complaint about this hotel is the lack of response from their management. While we were there a portion of Huntsville lost power due to a storm. While I can appreciate the hotel was not at fault we did in fact go without electricity from 5pm on Friday evening until we left the following morning. There was no back up generators, they didn’t offer flashlights or lanterns to use in the room. We were unable to shower in the morning because there was no hot water. We explained to the hotel that while we do not fault them for the power outage we do feel an adjustment to the bills for their guests that evening would be the right thing to do. We have not received a return phone call but our credit card has been charged in full for our stay. The young lady I spoke with said they don’t have to offer anything because it was an act of god. I feel it is unprofessional and short sided of the management to not compensate their guests at all. I know as a parent of a college student in this town who will be looking for hotel accommodations frequently over the coming years I will not give them any further business. I will also not recommend that any of my family members traveling to the area stay at this hotel.

The room was big enough and clean, but no wi-fi! Unacceptable in this day, plus the breakfast was pretty meager. I’d up the star rating to a 3, maybe 4, but until the internet access problem is fixed I wouldn’t stay here again.
