Tas Design and Craft Gallery

I can see why Huntington, NY is teeming with people on the weekends. Fun while on a date, with friends or even family, there is a cornucopia of wonderful restaurants, bars, and shopping. Just plain fun. One shop in particular drew me and my daughter in instantly… Tas Design and Craft Gallery. This shop features a wealth of pottery, glass-​blown objects, jewelry and hand-​painted furniture. Everything is beautiful, and between my daughter and I, we bought several items. Since I was flying across the country to my home, the owner very carefully packaged the items I bought for travel. I am happy to say that nothing broke, and she really did a great job packaging my purchases. One piece was a glass vase, and the other piece was a glass wind chime. Both items are stunningly colorful and beautiful. My daughter bought some ceramic pottery, which is equally lovely. While it’s a bit pricey, sometimes it’s worth getting the things that we just can’t be without… things that «speak» to us, things that make us do a double-​take when we see them… that even after walking away from them, muttering «I just can’t afford it,» we keep walking back to it also muttering, «but I just love it soooooooo much. I have to have it.» You know the drill. This store has a lot of THAT kind of stuff. Saunter in, take a look. You won’t be sorry !
