Starbucks

VERY busy location and there is always a line up to the door. I have been here three times and each time I have waited over ten minutes. I only order black coffee (no sugar or milk), there should be no reason to wait this long. The staff is very nice but slow.

A sign of a good Starbucks is always seeing LONG TIME employees that care. I have found that the stores that have the long time employees are run better, cleaner, have the fastest lines and STUPENDOUS customer service. And happy even. The Huntington location is that.
I have noticed that different Starbucks in different towns sometimes REFLECT the personality of the town. Take the Starbucks in Rockville Centre – the most obnoxious Starbucks possibly in NY State (and oh Jesus Christ I have not even been to the Garden City one yet!) ! The Rockville Centre store never has the same employees for over a year! Most last 3 or 4 months.
Obnoxious customers can create obnoxious workers. Well the Huntington location is one of the nicest ones around Long Island (a place where the rich upscale snoot-​bags seem to have taken over and infested every single nice and or interesting town on Long Island these days!)
The Huntington staff is very patient and friendly and hard working! Never had a bad drink here except for a few times this year when the dark roast has been weak/​watery. They fix it PRONTO with a smile!
My only problem with this one is– AND WITH ALL STARBUCKS is this; when they renovate/​remodel the place THEY ALWAYS TAKE AWAY SEATS! The LAST THING IN THE WORLD STARBUCKS NEEDS IS… LESS SEATING. (Taco Bell does this too!)
Always impossible to find a seat here and I HATE the large «conference tables» that have been infesting ALL of the stores around here. Aside from that this location is warm and friendly!

I have been here on other occasions but this is the first time I’m reviewing it. There’s a lot of seating here, the coffee bar is pretty huge. The staff seems to be on par with getting everyone’s drinks out in a timely manner. It’s pretty clean. Not much to say about this location.

good location for starbucks, good amt of space. i can always find a spot at the table in the front.

Super fast service. Drinks were made right. I had to shout my order due to the noise however.

Love this location! Staff is friendly and quick! The drinks are alway great, the place is spotless. I love to come here in the mornings when I’m in a hurry and need my fix, or in the afternoons to unwind with a good book. Love it,

Busy location with a lot of teenagers. It was hard to get a seat, the bathrooms were filthy, and the bar area was dirty and disorganized. There was a lot of trash strewn about in the seating area. As busy as it was, the staff need to take a minute and clean up a bit.

Prime location in Huntington village, very lively spot winter/​summer. Parking carries same problems as the entire village. Never had a bad drink here. Seating in the back can be limited as this is a busy spot. The seats are super comfy. Good refuge from the Huntington drunk crowd (though at times they spill inside).

Fast and friendly service. Only thing is that it does get pretty crowded, so occasionally they seem to run out of food options early in the day. I notice the usual Starbucks phenomenon here that one second there is no one on line, and the next there is a line out the door.

End multinational corporation invasion of Huntington, support local coffee shop owners, go to Rise Above down the block.

Nice location, albeit quite busy. It’s nice to sit by the large windows, and see all the hustle and bustle of Huntington village. Lines are long but move quick. Employees are very accommodating and friendly. They make the drinks perfectly! Hard to find parking sometimes.

Super friendly staff! I go here for the people & the experience. Ask for the hot one, Maggie, she’s the Best!

We went on a Sunday evening. It was a beautiful location. First, it’s huge as compared to most Starbucks. The store is not super wide but is very long. It has a lot of seating towards the glass windows along the street. Second, it looks very nice inside and has tables for folks to work at.
Parking was a bit difficult — I parked in a municipal lot up the street. It said «3 Hours.» I honestly could not figure out if that was for free or paid.
The baristas made the drinks well. My only complaint is that there was a Sunday NYTimes that took up a couple of chairs. That could have been cleaned up, and it gave the impression that cleaning was not regular. But since I took my drink to go, that was not a pressing worry.

Busy location — sufficiently staffed — always friendly, never have to wait too long. Small seating area, nice. Have run into order confusion a few times here, but they happily re-​do any errors, as is the starbucks policy.

This is a very standard Starbucks, but I am writing this review to let people know that coffee via the «Clover process» is available at this location. The only other Starbucks I know of that offer this coffee are the ones in Port Jefferson and East Hampton.
This is a busy location and parking can be difficult.

As far as Starbucks goes they are basically all the same except for there location difficulties.
The staff here is great fast and friendly.

What makes this Starbucks better than most is that it maintains a friendly Huntington vibe. Good seating and nice fireplace in the back. Friendly environment and wi-​fi.

Morning dose of grumpy, sleepy, and irritable people? No thanks!
I usually dread going to locations during the morning rush. My experiences here have been nothing but pleasant. After just three visits here, they remembered my order.
The hazelnut soy Red Eye is my go-​to drink. Coffee with a shot of espresso! My favorite drink hands down is the Green Tea Latte. It literally comes in all possible forms: iced latte, hot latte, frappucino. For those extra long days, I go for a Dirty GrnTL (dirty=one shot of espresso.) Lids with open holes and I do not mix… Or do mix. Pun intended! Seriously, someway or another coffee always finds its way on me. If you’re a messy drinker/​eater like myself, this Starbucks has got you splash insurance. They are always fully stocked with splash sticks!
Tips: gold members used to get free soy and flavor shots but they have updated their policy. Now gold members can redeem free food or drinks after accumulating 12 stars. Things taste especially good when they’re free right?!

We all know Starbucks coffee is awesome. Blonde Roast, Dark Roast, awesome Lattes, pretty decent tea selection, it’s always good. I give the drinks and food rating a 5 out of 5. However, I have spent a great amount of time at this location logging in some serious study hours. In the Winter time I need to wear gloves and several layers if I am going to sit by the window. You can literally feel the ice cold wind chill through the windows. I don’t know if there is an insulation issue or what, but the fireplace is not producing enough heat to keep me warm! It’s frustrating! Sometimes I literally take breaks from my comfy chair just to warm up at the fire. Parking sucks too, sometimes I will circle the block three or four times and in those attempts if I can’t find a spot I’ll opt for drive through Dairy Barn coffee, such a travesty.

I have spent a lot of time at a lot of different Starbucks cafes. This one is spot on with most things: speed, courtesy, consistency, and seating. There are rarely any issues except during a busy time where seating may be an issue, otherwise its a true to form example of what people have come to expect from this chain.
