This place is a hop skip and a jump from my home. Love how quaint it is. Especially in the summer, lovely outdoor seating. My favorite is the personal pizza. They are delish ! I’m a regular and have sent many customers. They all love it.

I have not treated myself to dinner in a while so I was very much looking forward to a take out and a nice meal unprepared by me, at home. One of my favorite dishes at Italian places would be linguini with white clam sauce or some variation of that. I am not going to go much into detail because the other caveat to this write up is I’m a new mom with an infant(which is to say for me to even take time to write this is indicative of how strongly I feel about the dinner I ordered). Long story short — I could count on on hand how many clams were in the dish. Really folks — one hand. Total. I even thought to take a picture of it but I was so hungry I ate the top clams thinking there would be more mixed in the dish but no that was it. And to add insult to injury it cost just about 20 dollars. If I didn’t have a newborn at my hip — I very well may have driven back to express my disbelief in person. So here I am home and hungry. Haggen Daz night it is. How disappointing. On a positive, the staff and appearance of the restaurant was very nice but would I go back?!? Ummmm… I don’t think so. Especially not paying that amount of money for what was essentially lemon flavored olive oil, salt and spaghetti. Sauce was tasty, I will give them that but honestly I could have made the dish myself & better and I’m not Italian.

Food was delicious from the garlic knots to main courses. Zucchini app and baked clams. Sicilian house wine a great choice suggested by Waiter, Anthony, who was awesome! Will definitely return.

We returend to give this local spot another try after we previously had a less than satisfactory experience with the food and service. I am happy to report that our experience was much better this time. My husband and I started with the mussels appetizer in a white wine broth. It was very tasty with a lot of mussels. For the meal, I had the mussels, shrimp and clams over pasta and my husband had the orecchiette pasta with sausage and broccoli rabe. Both were good and were in a large proportion. It was a beautiful night so we sat outside which was really nice. Yes, the location is on 25A, but the restaurant is elevated enough so you aren’t bothered by road noise. The service was attentive and it was a good experience overall. We will be returning to give the pizza a try.

We wer concerned because teh reviews didn’t seem too recent. But we tried a variety of heros and som pizza slices for take-out. The heros were very good and the pizza slices were nice and crisp. We would definately be back – we would be back sooner and with less debate if we hadn’t realized that the heros and pies were a dollar or two more than most other places in the area but for me at least it was worth it. Next time we will be sure to try the garlic knots! The menus are a bit confusing – the kids menu is not on their take out menu and the pizza and heros are not on their on-line menu.

This was one of the worst meals of my life combined with one of the worst services ever. Granted it was four years ago and I have not been back since, and only recently I remembered that I never actually written a review. I am not sure if they have sold the place since or have improved in any way, but, four years ago when I had just moved to Northport, my husband and I went to this restaurant in search of a local Italian place we would call our own. I ordered veal milanese and deeply regretted that decision. The meat was disturbingly bad. It tasted like rubber, had absolutely no flavor to it, was chewy and full of fat and ligaments. The server was also rude, dismissive, and made us feel unwelcome. We were the only people at the restaurant at the time and it felt like we were intruding in their not-working atmosphere. We were seated in a small crowded table when certainly much bigger comfortable ones were available. It also made me feel like perhaps we made a poor choice in moving to the area at all, since I had no idea whether that behavior was particular of that restaurant or of people of this area in general. Turns out it was the first of the two options, and we have never been back to the restaurant since. I also stopped eating veal because of this experience which has been a positive life change for me since eating veal to me is cruel anyway.

Intimate atmosphere, pretty excellent food and overlooks 25a(if watching cars go by is your thing when sitting at their outside tables). The hosts are very welcoming, however the server service is spotty. I would definitely recommend the spaghetti and meatballs… This classic dish is excellent here! PS — you probably don’t want to fill up on bread before your meal, however you must try the garlic knots that they bring to the table. They are outstanding!

The food here was delicious — just a side of the road type place we found for dinner. We ordered pizza, the pesto ravioli, and the chicken piatto. It was such a shame they ended up charging us for refills on our iced teas — for 2 people we had to pay 12.50 for iced tea. You never see this in any restaurant and it was such a deal breaker for us. Unfortunately we will not eat here again.

Absolutely perfect. From the garlicy knots that arrive hot as soon as you sit down to the light as air fried calamari, to the wonderful array of tasty entrees — chicken francese was my favorite — and pastas this place is a winner. Hoping to sit outside now that the weather is warming up.

Great restaurant. The calamari is so crunchy and wonderful. The garlic knots that they give you when you sit down at your table are garlic-y heaven. The people who work there are so friendly and attentive, and the place itself is adorable. Definitely give it a shot.

To be honest I went there with no expectations, but left very happy. We started with Involtini di Melanzane. I usually don’t like eggplant, but I thought it was excellent. Then I got the Saltimbocca and I loved every bite. Its not as expensive as other Italian places in Huntington, but just as good. Plus if you go with kids they have a full pizza station so they can get a few slices while you eat dinner.

I’ll be honest… I love the food but it’s the wait staff that really keeps me coming back. My thanks to Ryan, Dave, Jennifer, Christina, and everyone else who’s waited on us. If I could, I’d bring you all with me wherever I go, and not just to serve as my waiter. You’re funny, personable, and you make dining there feel like dining with friends. Thanks!

While the food here is okay, the service was awful during my takeout experience. I ordered chicken parm entrée to go and asked them to give me extra grated cheese. When I arrived a man in front of my was ordering food and mid ordering they ignored him and asked me my name for pick up. Mind you one of the items he wanted to order was just plain grilled chicken. The man then waited a few minutes and asked them«are you going to finish taking my order?» They say«well we can’t make grilled chicken for you because it’s too busy right now and it’s not on the menu» the guy replied with«it’s just grilled chicken you’re telling me you can’t make that?» They then proceeded to keep giving him reasons why they can’t accommodate him. At that point they finally got my food. I opened the bag and they only gave me one cheese when I had wanted two. I asked for another and they told me that they already charged me for one am I sure I want another… I said«you don’t give away a free cheese with an entrée? «They said no. I then was so frustrated that I said give me the extra cheese I’ll pay for another. So they indeed charged me 50 cents for 3 ounces of gross Parmesan cheese. As for the taste of the food I have to say its not bad but definitely not worth 18 $. The chicken parm comes in a cream marinara while the side of pasta is just regular marinara. I don’t know if it was a mistake or they always do this but they at least should separate the two as they have two different tastes. I really don’t know if I will be going back there again…

Nice neighborhood spot, spacious and has outdoor seating. We checked it out for dinner one wkd when we didnt feel like cooking. The garlic knots they serve as bread are amazing. They’re hot, buttery, garlic goodness. If you’re not careful, you’ll fill up on these… *bucatini chi sarde: fresh sardines, pine nuts, raisins, saffron and wild fennel w. toasted bread crumbs pastat. Sardines were very fresh and the tube like pasta was just right al dente. This was good, filling but not heavy. I ended up taking half home. Sardines were def fresh and just having them give a few twist of freshly ground pepper made it just right. *grandma’s pizette: hubby figured this would be like grandma slices that he loves so much but this wasnt square. Good flavors but not what he was looking for. *siciliana pizette: mom’s a fan of anchovies so this was just right for her. She was loving the thin crust and the saltiness from the anchovies, capers and kalamata olives complimented each other. You’d think it was salt overload but the crust made it just right. Good dinner but the only thing that really stood out for us were the garlic knots… Hence the 3 stars.

We went here for the first time and was very pleased with it. Half is a regular pizza place and the other half in the restuarant. I had Penne A la Vodka and it was the best I ever had, and it was a good portion, I had enough to take home for another meal. My hubby had linguini with garlic, oil, spinach and grilled chicken and he wasnt too happy with it because there wasnt enough garlic, but good otherwise. They give you a bread basket with garlic knots only but they were amazing ! the restuarant part has large doors that open up onto an outdoor patio for outside seating, but didnt have waitress service for food after 9pm, but I did see people out there with food, maybe a pizza, not sure. The waitress was very nice and attentive. great place, we would definitely go back.

Pizza is great… perfect amount of cheese on a thin, crispy crust. It certainly a step up from the places you’ll find in the village. I’m eager to try the pasta dishes and other items from the menu. Update: Went back to try a more formal dinner and it was very good. I had meatball parmigiana with spaghetti. The meatball was average, but the sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had.
