My family and I have been coming here for the past 20+ years. The pupusas are truly delicious here. I am half Salvi, and I’ve had my share of pupusas. This place will always be my top pick. The only reason why I don’t give it a 5 star is the service. It is terribly slow here and it has always been this way. The owner is also kind of a jerk. All he does is take your payment, never asks you if you had a pleasant experience or if you were happy with your food. Never helps the waitressing even when they are busy and clearly understaffed. I did get very upset once. Called to pre-order and the owner wouldn’t take it because he said too many people were waiting for food. Really? Who the hell does that? Even the best or busiest restaurants have take out.

Another gem of mine if you like pupusas this is the spot and all of their other dishes are amazing as well. A lot. lot… Lot… Of flavor .I have been coming to this place since I was 6 years old and never have they let me down. If you come on Friday’s or Saturday’s they have live performance. Margaritas and beer man they have it all. Come by and try their pupusas you won’t regret it.

Las mas ricas pupusas de Huntington Park. Ordenamos chilate con nuegados… Simplemente delicioso. La yuca con chicharron es riquisima. El servicio es muy bueno. Las muchachas son amables. A mi marido Mexicano le gusta mucho las pupusas revueltas de este lugar.

Service was good. There was only 4 other people at the restaurant when I went. But if you go on a busy day be prepared to wait. But trust me when I tell you… the wait is definitely worth it! Food was delicious and the plates were huge! Definitely worth the price! And the Horchata was amazing!

The food is good especially the pupusas, but the service is not good. They take so long they need better waiters. Just so they can take you a to-go box they take 30 minutes or more i mean come on why do they take so long they even forget things you ask them for, get better employees and the place would be much better.

The Pupusas are delicious and so are the empanadas! It did take awhile for our food to come but it was worth the wait! And the waitress was friendly. I’ll be back for sure!

I came here today(7÷12÷15) because of the good reviews. The food in itself was good However, after eating curtido I noticed a big fly mixed in the curtido! Gross!!! The server did not apologize or thought it was a big deal. This speaks of their cleanliness and poor customer service. I WILLNEVERCOMEBACKHERE! F’n gross!

Parking sucks. Literally no parking. The food is average. The tomato sauce for the pupusas was the best one I tasted ! The pupusas were good too.

There pan con pollo is so good !! I also love there tamales de pollo. I will only eat salvidorean tamales. Everything I’ve had here was really amazing. My dad loved the sopas and the salpicon. He said it reminded him of his child hood favorites he was born and raised in El Salvador, he really loved this place

Came back and gave it another opportunity. Took super long for our order to be taken. Then another 30 min for our coffee add another 40 min for our food to arrive. They only had on girl taking orders, cleaning tables and serving. What appears to be the manager was just Standing by the register instead of helping. The place is clean and food is good, but overall experience not too good. By the way we order a soup and it was a bit cold, maybe warm but not hot. Food taste good, just the service sucks.

This is another place I’ve been coming for years, Authentic Salvi flavor. They have everything from fish plate and caldos to breakfast and pupusas. On the weekends they have some one come in and sing old school rolas and gives the eating experience a little kick Overall great food! Recommend to anyone.

The service is poor and the wait is long for a small meal. I definitely expected more from what I saw on TV. There is mold in the ceiling which makes me uncomfortable to sit in the restaurant. Our order was taken after a couple that arrived after us. I was so irritated but we waited to see what was said and done. We waited over an hour for 2 pupusas which were soggy and clumpy. The waitress never came by to ask how we were doing nor to see if we wanted more. It is a definite mistake to come to this place. As I told my mom. NEVERAGAIN. After the entire experience I have to say it was a HUGE mistake to come to this joint. I wouldn’t even call it a Dive as that would be an insult to Dives. The chicken and cheese pupusas tasted like 3 day old chicken and the jalapeño cheese was flavorless.

I came here looking for a yummy melt in your mouth cheese pupusa. Luckily because of Unilocal I can satisfy my cravings. You see, my favorite spot recently burned down(tragic) and I’ve been on the look out for a new spot. Ive been to other locations which are ok but finding more options is great. My verdict: not better than my favorite Salvadorian restaurant. I ordered the fried plantains with beans and cream. The beans were flavorless and the cream wasnt the greatest. The cheese on my pupusa was clumpy. Their ensalada drink was very good and so was the curtido for the pupusas. I came here on a weekday so it wasnt busy. Would I come here again? Maybe, maybe not.

Espere 49 minutos para q me trajeran 5 pupusas a mi mesa. Las pupusas Estaban ricas pero no tan ricas como para esperar ese tiempo. Recomiendo ordenar por teléfono. At this very moment I’m eating here. It took exactly 49 mints for them to bring us 5 pupusas. The pupusas were delicious but not worth the wait. Recommend ordering by telephone.

Personally, not a fan of the shell on & tail on shrimp but that’s just me! OMG the Pollo en Crema was ONPOINT… so flavorful! The rice… LOVELOVELOVE!
