My family has been getting cakes here for several years now (at the original location on Figueroa and now huntington park). The Huntington Park location is much closer to home and parking is easier than the Figueroa location. The cake is always moist and the frosting isn’t too sweet.

My parents have been buying cakes from Imperial Bakery since as long as I can remember. This is my mom’s FAVORITE place for cakes! They are used to going to one near downtown, but this location is closer to our house. Their cheesecake is not all that. However, their vanilla cake is the best! Plus, it’s not super expensive which is even better. This location, or their other location near downtown, are my go to places for a simple vanilla cake! :)
