Dynasty’s Bridal & Tuxedo Shop

Okay, I am getting married next Saturday and my sister and I searched for a place we can have our dresses made at, along with the rest of the girls. So… we went to this place because my mom’s friend said «it was good.» It was pretty good at first but towards the end… HORRIBLE!!! I was fitted before all the rest of the girls, when I tried on my dress for the first time, it fit alright… but it wasn’t complete so of course it was ok so far. The girls only had to try their dresses on once before they were told they can pick them up. So… this past Sunday we all went to go pick up all of our dresses. BUT… we couldn’t. The bridesmaids were dresses were not how they were supposed to be… they added some extra crap to the front of them and they were all tight!!! Not just a little snugged… I mean really tight!!! My flower girls dress didn’t even zip up because it was too small. My dress (the most important one) was huge on me… mostly the top part. I had the biggest puffy sleeves ever. I was thinking to myself «Geez…I was born in the 80’s, I’m not getting married in the 80’s.» The lady said they would be fixed and then I can pick it up the following day. So… the following day, myself and one of the my bridesmaids went to go pick up our dresses. It looked like they didn’t do anything to mine. It was still too big. My bridesmaid’s dress was ok and she got to take hers home. So… AGAIN, she said my dress will be ready on Wednesday. Myself and a different bridesmaid went to get our dresses… of course, mine was still wrong. She got to take hers home though. Then my other bridesmaid showed up and their dresses are supposed to be dragging on the floor a bit… well, hers was above her ankles!!! They fixed it right away and she got to take her dress home too! I’m the bride and I got screwed so many times!!! I told her I’ll just come back on Friday (which is today). OMG… it was a miracle!!! It’s finally done!!! FYI… the owner is an asshole!!! If you ever go there and there’s some old man with glasses there, he’s not the owner, it’s some other asshole who seems to be going in and out of the shop (very dark!). One thing that helped me be ok with one girl who works there — Vironica. She’s the sweetest. She is not the seamtress so none of this was her fault. I could only go to the dress shop when she was there because she’s the only one who speaks english. She always made sure I was ok and assured me everything was going to be fine. I honestly feel sorry for her… I bet she gets no credit for doing what she does. Well… must say… this place is crap, even with her there. She should go somewhere else to work.
