Staff was super nice and helpful. Burger was hot when it came out, although fries were good they were barely warm. Seating area was clean and was constantly being cleaned. Location has bike racks and great views. Relaxing location. Would return.

Literally the worst service ever!!! The manager was such a jerk, and he’s super rude when customers asked questions. The food wasnt great. And when we rented two bikes, they both had problems. the first one had a flat tire so we went back to return it. When we got a new bike, while we were pedaling the pedals fell off and when we tried to confront the manager about it, he avoided the conversation and said it was our fault and we should’ve came back to get another bike.

Horrible wait for less than impressive beach bar food. I waited for 30 minutes for a very plain turkey sandwhich.

This was the worst ice cream cone I’ve ever had in my life. I spent $ 3 on a twist cone that literally tasted like someone mixed ice cubes and sugar together and dumped it into a soft serve machine. I’m pretty sure that’s what happened, it definitely wasn’t real ice cream or anything close. It also melted within like 5 seconds of being in my hand. Do not order from here!

Wow. This place was TERRIBLE. I really have no idea why I spent any money here. If you’re smart and reading this, RUN! Go spend your money on Main Street for quality food.
The service was mediocre and chick seemed bored and annoyed to be working. I send 3 bucks on a chocolate ice cream cone that tasted like chocolate flavored ice. It was disgusting. And the chili cheese fries might as well have been melted plastic dumped on under cooked fries. Ugh. Save your money.

Worst food ever! I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and the beans were at the top and the unmelted cheese in the bottom of the burrito. My friend ordered a quesadilla (you would think it’s impossible to mess up a cheese quesadilla– wrong!) Quesadilla was soggy n dripping grease and loaded with this strange bright orange cheese. Absolutely disgusting. The salsa was sweet n the same texture as ketchup (which I’m thinking might have been ketchup with some spice in it). It looked like the only decent food spot on the beach. Very dissappounted. Take your business elsewhere or eat before you come to the beach.

Living at Beach/​PCH makes Zack’s Too my first stop as I hop on the beach path. I have always rented bikes from this spot whenever I have out of town guests. With the U.S. OPEN going on now and my out of town guests coming, this will NOT be the spot I rent 3 bikes from for 4 days that we need them, because of what took place yesterday on my way to the OPEN… my bike tires were a little soft, so I grabbed my portable compressor to pump them up… only to discover it was not fully charged. No problem, I’ll stop at Zack’s to top them off. Upon my arrival I approached a worker there who was already working on a few bikes, tool box out, and a 6 – 8 gallon compressor sitting there. I asked him if I could please get a little air before I hit the path… he looked at me, rolled his eyes, and then said «I don’t have the pump here right now»…REALLY??? So that compressor isn’t a pump??? What a tool!!! I understand it’s the OPEN week and I’m sure they deal with a lot of bulls*it, but it was MONDAY at 11am and looked like an ordinary beach day. Sorry dude, you left a bad taste in my mouth. I will never buy or rent anything from this location again!

horrible customer service. FOOD IS SUBPAR. DIRTY KITCHEN. you are better off going down main street to get your money’s worth.

If the owner is rude to his customers, I wonder how he treats his employees… probably just as bad or worse, which is probably what contributes to the unsanitary conditions and unsatisfactory food.

We saw the sign for soft served ice cream and just had to have one. After struggling to make a decision which flavor to choose, vanilla, chocolate, or swirl, we made it to the counter to find out that the soft serve was not available. They only had packaged ice creams. We checked out the menu and went with a second choice, Choco Taco, only to hear, no we don’t have that one either. My son settled on a drumstick. My other don asked for Dippin Dots, and surprisingly The guy at the counter said that yes, they did have the Dippin Dots in stock. But these didn’t come in a cute little cup like at most amusement parks or fairs, instead it was served in a pouch, similar to a juice box pouch. Really? Best part was I ordered a fresh coconut. He poked a hole in the coco, provided a straw, this was the sweetest freshest coco I’ve had in quite some time. All of the rentals, bikes, boards are hassle free and fair priced. The counter service was fine, no they didn’t ask me how my visit was going or how I liked the beach, but they were very patient while my three children took their sweet time trying to decide which Ice cream they wanted.

Absolutely terrible! Worst visit ever! Most of the time I’m greeted by the friendly rental persons and manager, but today the owner was there and I though cool I can meet the man behind this business, well after about 5 seconds of looking around in the store the owner proceeds to yell at me «what are you dreaming about!» I felt very disrespected but didn’t say anything about his rudeness. But after that as he was helping out another customer he asked one of his employees to get him a bigger thank you bag when his employee replied that they don’t have anymore bigger ones. He go mad and grabbed a clear garbage bag and said to the customer I can’t believe I stay in business with this moron working for me! That made me super mad to hear. Then I found out the worst part his employee was only 16 years old and he’s saying this to customers about a kid! I’ve been helped by the boy in the past and he is very helpful and friendly same with the boy working the food but seeing this man disrespecting him had made me decide I will never come back to this establishment, and I will tell every one to stay away. This owner needs to learn a little bit of manners before I even think about coming back

Great spot on the beach. They offer bike and surfboard rentals. The food is great, try the breakfeast burrito. They also sell Dippin’ Dots Ice Cream. Ask for Ace!

About the owner/​manager Zack; I’ve had a few encounters with him at different times and over a few seasons. I’ve recieved nothing other than GREAT CUSTOMER service from him and his employees. I’ve not eaten EVER, so I can’t speak for the food, but I see other’s review of Mr. ZACK himself and think the man is entitled to have a NOT SO PLEASING attitude, to me he has CHARACTER that’s maybe too real for us common folk! Besides he has NEVER been rude or discourteous to me, not one time in over 3 years! He has what I need, when & where I need it… on the beach!

Its true, the owner is a rude (_(_) hole, and gave no apology for my screwed up order. My friend didnt have the most pleasant experience either, receiving her order after 4 or 5 other people had received theirs (she ordered a burger and fries btw, how hard could it be to complete that order.) The service was pretty crappy with the exception of one blonde chick behind the counter who was very nice and helpful.
The food is mediocre. fries were meh. and the chilli on my fries tasted like generic store bought chilli.
If it wasnt for the blonde, I would have given a 1 star rating.

Had a corporate event today catered by Zacks … I dealt directly with Joe Ali one of the owners son … From the very beginning he was very attentive and checked in with me throughout the months leading up to the event. The event was a huge hit !!! Everyone had a great time and commented on how good the food was as well as the service! Great job Zacks!!! We will definently be sharing your services with other business units within our corporation !

Worst service I’ve ever received. It wasn’t those working there, but it was the OWNER himself. VERY VERY RUDE, did nothing to help, didnt apologize for his store’s mistakes, and tried to talk down on me by saying he’s a «successful business man», etcetc. What does that have anything to do with anything? I recommend NEVER going there, they dont care for their customers.
