Okay… PLEASE READ
Coffee and college goes hand and hand right?
Wifi for laptops a compliments to each other right?
Starbucks is a competitor and provide a substitute service to the same market right?
Ok I tried this place because Starbucks is crowded and over rated… The WIFI doesn’t work and searching for a wifi … Everyone’s hotspot comes up. So everyone knows the wifi is bad here. Ok now– it took me 3 minutes, everyone knows, I’m not the only one who mentioned this on the comments, and I’m sure someone told a manager… So now it’s just the manager neglecting the issue.
Okay back to Starbucks. Great coffee but you guys had and lost my business. Address your guys’ issues.

Coffee bean is always a favorite of mine. I was disappointed to learn that they already removed their holiday drinks, they should last all winter long! I ordered a blended mocha instead, I really like their chocolate powder!

Love it here. Great space but horrible horrible wi-​fi which is really frustrating and on a smaller issue — it’s way too cold in here — layer up!

If it wasn’t for the horrible wifi service which is often not working at all, this is a 5 star. So only worth coming if you’re not going to be getting work done that needs wifi. The good news is, because of that, the regulars stop coming who need wifi so it’s quite empty I the morning.
Really the sweetest people work here. Great job at that, and the tea is very good. They have gluten free oatmeal and occasionally organic coffee. I think they are expecting to have more organic tea soon but that’s a rumor. I hope so. If they are serving organic options that would be amazing!
Still, wifi keeps me from regularly coming as I do like to use it. They need to fire their provider who is costing them thousands in lost revenue.

I was so excited when this opened up. I went here almost everyday. Either inside to relax and enjoy my cup of coffee or the drive thru before work.
The other day I went inside to get my coffee and hang for a bit with 2 small children. A 2yr old and a 4 yr old. Before ordering my coffee (which there was a long line) I asked for the restroom code for the children. Dave, the employee, was very rude and not helpful. He refused to get me the code and told me if I wanted it I’d have to purchase first. I get the idea behind the code lock, but I am clearly not homeless and I was obviously buying my coffee as I had my personal cup in hand. He never gave me the code so I had to leave and go to Starbucks down the street. I will no longer visit this location.

You’d assume all these shops were the same, but they’re not.
I’m not even sure how they do it, but I feel like I see a happier face there every morning I show up.
Staff is friendly, the seating area is huge compared to the others, they have a patio, & their drive-​through never takes longer than a few minutes.
I need to stress how friendly & fast the staff is.
A few times I caught a new employee still going through training, & they savagely ruined my drink hahaa once they realized I wasn’t going to flip out over it, they slowly tried again, & it always ended up being better than the last one I had… I’m also totally a fan of letting the new recruits screw my drinks up, because they’ve bumped my size up twice for not being a [insert your favorite word]
I personally never have the time to really hang out there, but it is a nice place; I’d veg out on the patio if I frequently had the chance. The clientele they get is usually from the groovier side of HB, & I can dig it

This is the biggest Coffee Bean location I’ve seen! I love that there’s plenty of room to hangout. It looks like they are trying to duplicate the Starbucks business model. The décor is hip, trendy, and comfortable with a big communal table, single chairs, and even great outdoor patio seating.
This location used to be an old Burger King, so it’s great to see that the building has been updated and modernized with a product that the community actually wants. Plus, they are taking full advantage of the drive-​thru, which is great for morning commuters.
My only complaints are that they don’t take Apple Pay (so much for modern) and their POS system does not accept their own Coffee Bean App (so you won’t get your frequent-​diner points here). Hopefully they’ll get this location up to speed with current technology quick!

Fav study spot. Great coffee and tea. Chill staff, super professional and friendly. I’m here probably 2 – 4 times a week.
Always clean and organized. The WiFi is great, too!

I love the vanilla ice coffee, so awesome. It comes with two shots of expresso and u don’t even have to pay extra for it. It’s also strong so I’m happy

This location seems very nice for studying, since there are plenty of outlets and free, good WiFi. They have different sizes of tables, chairs, and couches, and clean bathrooms (hurrah!). They also have relaxing music playing in the background, both indoor and outdoor. I think it’ll be easy for me to be a regular here.
I love getting any of the sweet fruit teas, especially passion fruit. Make sure you stir it with your straw, otherwise only part of it will taste sweet. The staff today was really friendly and gave his recommendation to make my tea less sweet than usual, and that ended up perfect.
I also like getting their ICE BLENDED chai tea or thai tea (when available). They’re all flavorful with the right amount of sweetness.

I wish there were more coffee bean tea and leafs out there. It’s a great option when you have had enough with the same old routine with the other guys. Not that the other guys are bad but you could only have so much of a good thing before you start to realize that novelty is wearing off. LOL anyway, great job coffee bean, you have a customer here.

I love it because it’s fast with drive through and the drinks are great. Caramel ice blended is my favorite /​any of their signature blended drinks

I am a long time customer of Coffee Bean, very excited about new location. Just few comments:
I think it takes too long to get your drinks if you order inside,
drive through is perfect flow.
Bathrooms are disturbing, bad smell, dirty floors, definitely needs swift improvement.
Staff is very friendly

My favorite coffee shop in HB! This is the perfect place to grab a drink and get some work done. The coffee is fresh and much better quality than Starbucks! They also have some ice blended drinks and teas for the non coffee drinkers. I like that the iced teas are not that sweet and don’t taste all syrupy like those from Starbucks. Sorry I keep comparing this place to Starbucks since they’re competitors but honestly, I think the quality of Coffee Bean drinks are on a whole other level & I don’t understand WHY Starbucks is so big everywhere.
I usually get the vanilla latte or one of the iced teas, grab a table, and can spend hours here! This was my hangout spot during finals week! Staff is nice and friendly, this was like my second home this past semester. If you want a snack, their bagels with cream cheese are delicious. Their cream cheese is soo good! There’s a lot of seating, both inside and out. Very nice patio area if you wanted to chat with some friends. I only wish that they would have utilized all of the space that they have inside though because they could have added so many more tables instead of having that extra long community table going diagonal. Right now, the interior works and makes the place look very clean, spacious, and modern but I hope that they add more tables if they get busier.
Also, anyone who spends a lot of time at coffee shops knows this is important: the bathrooms are super nice and clean! If you don’t want to spend your whole day here and need to be in and out quickly with your drink, there’s a convenient drive thru. Woohoo I’m so happy you took over the old Burger King, my beloved Coffee Bean!!!

This Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is located on Beach Blvd and Adams. This location use to be a Burger King. Although I have never been inside, looks huge.
On my early morning visits outta Huntington Beach, I like to stop and get me a cup of java, before heading into work. Seems like the light always catches me on the intersection, beckoning me to stop!
I just get a regular cup of coffee, with lots of milk… leche con café! Staff is friendly, and with my simple order-​never an issue on how they prepared it.

I’ve never been to this beautiful location. It’s located very close to the beach, so you have that breeze and the shop has a beachy style look on the outside and very fun contemporary patio. When you enter its huge. Much larger than you’d expect. Long tables and chairs, lots of space to study and most people don’t know this: under the table there are plug outlets all along the table! Right at waist length. No leaning under and having to search. It was also quiet and nice. No loud music.
The employees are extremely friendly and happy it seemed like. You don’t get that service at Starbucks. They also have a big 32oz cup option for less than 30 cents more. I ordered the peach tea, unsweetened. Light in flavor and be careful with the sugar free syrup because a drop of it will overwhelm you! Great prices and great quality. Good service!

Another excellent Coffee Bean location!
They are by far my favorite chain to grab coffee and since I don’t have one where I live I can’t drive by one and not stop.
Blended mocha, add chocolate covered espresso beans, perfect every time.
This is a nice location, super clean and well kept.
Nice staff, brought my coffee out quickly and it was tasty, what more could you want?

Great location, spacious and there’s plenty of seating/​tables. Super friendly staff and its clean inside and out. Seating area outside is cute. Thank goodness there’s a drive thru! Woohoo

Huge, airy, clean space to enjoy a coffee… in the 70’s and in HB.
Not sure if it could be any better.

This is the newest location for Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Huntington Beach! Burger King used to be located here, but once my coworkers and I found out that a brand spanking new CB&TL would be taking its place, we were ecstatic!
This is a huge location that offers plenty in the way of seating. The designers decided to include one long communal table in the center of the dining area along with individual comfy looking seats and tables. I personally feel like they could have included more in the way of seating, but at the same time what they have works because it doesn’t mess with the store’s feng shui/​chi/​whatever.
Everything is brand new and super, super clean. I didn’t have a chance to check out the bathroom, but I think it’s safe to say it’s clean.
There’s also a small outdoor patio with seating. It’s pretty cute. Oh, and their wifi is all set up and ready to go! I’ll probably come here sometime to do some work :)
Oh and if you’re in a hurry and can’t come inside, this location offers a drive-​thru window as well.
