This place is so relaxing ! Made my feet pretty and ready for the weekend. Very clean and friendly will most definitely be coming back.

This place is amazing!!! This is my second time coming here for a spa pedicure, prices are great and they are extremely clean. They use plastic liners in the foot bath. They spend a lot of time massaging your feet and they really take their time for the whole pedicure.

Great service. Beautiful and clean! Love the array of foot scrubs and they take their time. No distractions (tv) and very relaxing. The best color selection.

My mom and I went there for the second time today. Weve liked it both times weve been there. Its really clean. I had Denise do my toes today and I showed her a pinterest pic with a 4^th of July pattern. She did a great job copying it! My toes look great! Someone else did my manicure and she did a great job too, with the exception of the painting part. Its not the worst paint job ive had, but not the best. Still a great experience tho.

The service was phenomenal! Although there’s construction in the area, it was worth it! From beginning to end, it was great experience! Large selection of gel colors. They definitely went the extra mile!

Gina did such an amazing job on my nails. It’s exactly what I envisioned! She took her time and hand painted the marble effect! I will definitely be coming back!

1^st timer here at Lux! I’m really picky when it comes to my nails and I’m so happy I found this gem! Lynn is absolutely amazing. She did a beautiful job. All the ladies here are super sweet and the massage chairs are to die for! They also give you a warm neck bean bag wrap with relaxing scents

Katie did a great job of gel on my toes– I got the anti stress pedicure which uses hot stones and the scrub massage was awesome. Tina did my nails and I’m so happy I found someone who understands how to shape naturally! Pretty expensive to add the gel but worth it!
Btw– 24 days later and my acrylic nails have not lifted at all! I bartend on the weekends and am constantly washing my hands so this is a big deal to have a full set last soooo long. I finally had to take them off cuz they had grown out so long.

Finally found a nail salon that makes me feel like its worth paying for pampering.
Its very feminine, modern, classy, and beautiful inside.
Katie did a fantastic job on my gel mani with custom color and accent nail design. I had Hannah for my pedi and they were both meticulous, attentive, sweet, and patient. I will request them next time.
Its a little pricey for a gel mani and spa pedicure but the girls were all very nice and don’t talk sh*t on clients like other places often do & you sit in a full-​back shiatsu massage chair during your pedicure, that you control… wow what a bonus!

Love this nail salon! They make you feel like a Princess! Very articulate & clean. They do a fabulous job! Will be back!

Came here yesterday for a manicure around 4:30pm. My usual place, Atlas Nail Studio in Costa Mesa was fully booked, my backup salon Pink Petals was closed due to a fuse being broken and shutting down the whole plaza, and I had to get my nails done for a birthday dinner later that night. Soooo I found Lux on Unilocal and called to have my mani done.
Well…when I walked in and the front desk girl was on her cell phone… we made eye contact but not so much as a smile she went back to her phone convo as if I was bothering her. She didn’t even acknowledge me walking in and did not get off the phone until I walked up to the counter and said hello. Seriously? You’re here to run a business and greet the clientele that walk through the door, yet you make them walk up to you and do your job for you.
After I was seated she brought me water and rubbed my arm/​back and gave me attitude when I asked her to please don’t touch me. I came here for a manicure on my phalanges not my arm or my back to be felt up by some rude broad.
Finally about five minutes later my manicurist Nancy, came and asked me if I had gel or acrylic on my fingers and I said I previously had acrylic but I took them off myself already, I’m just here for a gel manicure. Not even two seconds later she asks me again if it was gel or acrylic. Well thank you for listening when I answered your questions not even a min ago. and by God you would not believe it, as she’s taking the tiny remnants of the acrylic off of my fingers she asks me a third time and adds if I want another full set.
I JUST TOLD YOU IT WAS A FULL SET PREVIOUSLY, MY ASS TOOK IT OFF MYSELF, I ONLY WANT A DAMN GEL MANICURE AND GET OUT OF THIS GOD FORSAKEN PLACE.
When we were finished, and I saw the sign on the counter and it said tips had to be in cash and the front desk girl says that I can put it on the card since it’s my first time here.
First off, your service was shit and your worker who is clearly incompetent and doesn’t follow or listen to your clients and you expect to tell your clientele how to tip? You can either take my tip on my card or accept nothing at all. You’re ridiculous, and need to take a seat with that bullcrap and re-​evaluate your business entirely, please and thank you.
Secondly, I should have just left nothing, even before I left Nancy and the front desk girl started to talk shit and grumbling about the tip I did leave. Thinking back I should have left her nothing, clearly she doesn’t need my tips, the manicurist wearing not one, but two Cartier bracelets (15k a pop) a rose gold Apple Watch (1.5k if not more). Clearly, her sugar daddy is tipping her enough and my tips (based on the work/​service she gave) were not good enough for her.
With the shit service and the attitude I was given, they dare to ask me for a tip and then talk shit when I’m still standing there? You’re out of your damn mind.
I came here because of the 5 star rating I saw on Unilocal,but don’t let it fool you, it’s not worth the trip. You’re better off going to Pink Petals down the street if you are in a pinch like I was. I’ll be sure to tell my girl friends about this place and tell them to avoid this salon like a plague.

1^st visit was a success. Gel mani and anti stress pedi, service was nice. I love that they use liners in pedi tubs, so sanitary! The ambiance is relaxing and salon is kept clean and neat. Tammy was patient while I decided on my mani design, she provided both services. Oh almost forgot, brows and upper lip waxed, no burns or skin irritation, awesome! Did not give 5 stars because I noticed a few imperfections once I got home. I pay close attention to detail, especially when spending more than typical. My fault for not closely inspecting prior to leaving salon, I know better for next visit. Overall, good experience and I recommend this biz.
2^nd trip and Tammy made sure I was happy! She’s very sweet and extra accommodating. The hot stone massage is a must! I’ll return, AGAIN. Feeling pampered and relaxed. Making my next appointment before I leave!

The staff at this salon are all very sweet and have great skills when it comes to doing nails. However, I have officially fallen in LOVE with Tina! I prefer coffin tip with gel and she does it perfectly. She also does great designs. Although this visit I did not have an occasion worthy of an intricate design, she still came up with an idea to make my nails pop and still keep them very affordable. By the way, the rhinestones they add are Swarovski. I am very particular about how my nails are done and I am not one to usually leave Unilocal reviews, but I really appreciated the attention to detail that Tina and the other staff members provide to their customers. Bonus: They have charging stations at every chair for your phone!

I went for a pedicure and manicure with my friend yesterday. I had mixed feelings about it afterwards.
I liked my manicurist. She was pleasant and worked hard on my nails. My only complaint is that I had some pictures of designs I wanted and didn’t pay attention and just did what she wanted.
My pedicurist was not very interactive or friendly. She spent a lot of time cutting my cuticles. My toes were very sore afterwards and all day. I got home today and looked at my toes. They are red and swollen. One side I had puss leaking out of it. I am so upset. I hope that their tools were at least clean and I won’t get a serious infection. I al so disappointed as the salon was very nice looking.
Also they do not want you to pay credit card for tips. They gave us a hard time about not having cash and told us to bring it next time. I’m sorry but I do not carry much cash so if you want tips– it will most likely be credit card.

I’m visiting Huntington Beach from NYC and desperately needed a manicure. I Unilocaled for the best around and Lux popped up. Now that I’m here, I can see why.
The staff are very friendly upon walking in. There are several colors to choose from and the wait was short. The salon sparkles with cleanliness, orchids and glass chandelier.
My tech did a fantastic job in a timely manner. If I was a local, this would be my nail salon!

10 stars for the ambiance and classy/​beautiful décor. Everything is tidy, clean and organized.
One thing I noticed is that the other employees who didn’t have a customer, weren’t cackling and laughing in their own language, making everyone feel they were talking shit. They were polite, and quiet with their conversations. All the employees dressed nice, and looked like they didn’t just roll outta bed, and came to work. I think most of the time we are accustomed to dirty/​tacky looking nail places, where there might be kids playing in the back, or someone is cooking food, while the nail ladies chitter chatter and laugh the entire time. Why are we used to that???
This experience was a breath of fresh air. She did a great job, and I will definitely come here from now on!

The salon is very clean and pretty much everything is brand new. They use brand new tools on you which I’m all about. The chairs are super comfortable and even have built in phone chargers! As soon as I set down I was brought a water and this warm thing to go over my shoulders– yay!
I couldn’t be happier with Nancy’s full set and design. She was sweet, didn’t waste any time and did a great job. I also like that other than when they were talking about my pricing they spoke English the whole time.
Compared to what’s around I would consider this higher end– for sure!
It’s a little pricy but the owner gave me a few discounts on my design which was appreciated. Iv tried a couple places in town that are in the same high end category and if price isn’t a concern I would come here every time. If you’re trying to save some money this isn’t the spot for you. Pedicure start at $ 25 and gel full set is $ 45– everything is extra… But you get what you pay for!!! And if your comparing this to pink petals down the street– Lux wins all day!
