Sea Spa

I am extremely picky about my nails and have been to several places throughout Huntington Beach/​Newport/​Costa Mesa/​Irvine. I can say hands down that there isn’t any nail salon which comes to comparison with Seaspa. This has been my spot now for over 2 years and this review is long overdo. The ship itself is unassuming, but lovely and tranquil inside (yes it really is very relaxing). Cindy the owner is the kindest woman and very warm and welcoming to everyone. Now to the important part. Gel manicures are top notch. I go every 3 weeks and they NEVER peel. Lily and Hailey are amazing and I would as far to say artists. They can do any design you throw there way. It’s actually impressive to see how meticulous there designs are. Prices are very reasonable and worth every penny. Every time I go I end up laughing with the girls there, catching up, and relaxing. I can’t say enough about seaspa, and have referred so many friends there which are loyal to this day. Once you go, you will find your forever nail home.
Also must say they are crazy clean, and the spa chairs are always tip top. I’ve been to several places and never seen them really clean out the foot bowls like seaspa does. Very reassuring.

I have been to Sea Spa for a gel manicure and pedicure several times and have had a great experience every time. The spa is quiet, clean and relaxing. The staff is super nice and really takes the time to give your mani /​pedi the attention it deserves. When it comes to gel manicure they really are the best. Looks better and lasts longer than any other place. I almost didn’t want to write this review because I love having this place be a hidden gem, but they really do great work and deserve the recognition.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Mainly just to do a quick color change.
Service is OK.
One thing that annoys me is when employees are clearly talking about you in another language & then they start giggling. I find it very immature, rude, and unprofessional. Since this came from the owner to her employee, I don’t see it changing.
Another thing is they should tell you when they will charge a fee for using a debit or credit card.
I will stick with GLO.

Very beautiful and clean place. All the girls are so nice and friendly. I took 3 friends here for a friend’s birthday and we all had wonderful service and received nice manicure/​pedicures. I highly recommend it!
A gel manicure and regular pedicure was only $ 38.

This place is wonderful! Great service and very relaxing. They always take care of me and do the best job. You won’t be disappointed.

I highly recommend Vy for gel manicures! She does a wonderful job and my manicure looks great for 2 weeks.

I have been a LOYAL customer for almost 10 years and I can honestly say that Cindy and her team have been the most hygienic, accommodating, and consistent salon in the HB area. I am actually HAPPY that Cathy no longer works in the salon, she was LOUD, OBNOXIOUS, and RUDE. Lilly is my favourite however all these women are exceptional. 5 plus stars to Cindy for running such an amazing salon to retreat to!!! A+++++

Lily was amazing!!! I love my nails and cannot wait to come back. I had a picture and she recreated it but even BETTER! very nice and the salon is always clean. best acrylic fill and painting I’ve ever experienced!

I’m always completely satisfied here. And if I’m not, they are willing to do whatever to make me happy. It’s always a quiet place, and the staff are very friendly. After a few visits, they started to recognize me. Made me feel very at home. I highly recommend this place. Great prices and so many available services! I shall be back for however long I live in Huntington Beach.

The only reason I gave this place 5 stars before was because of Kathy but she no longer works here and the establishment itself deserves 3 stars.

I am in love with this place! Went for the second time today, my first time here was more than three weeks ago and my gel nails lasted that whole three weeks! That is amazing!
They are friendly, the atmosphere is spa-​like and nails are on point. Today I had Kim do my nails and Jennifer do my pedicure and both were very sweet and very good! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

I went in last night for a cute simple white ombré design. Once the clear acrylics were on (keep in mind not a single word was said to me the entire time) she then tells me she can’t do the design and that the girl who can will be in tomorrow. If I had known that I would have gotten tips instead so I just had her put them on clear and I left to do the ombré myself. Maybe a heads up next time? I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Love this place. The prices are good. The service is wonderful. They take real pride in what they do. My nails are always super cute when I leave here. I take all my friends there as well.

I came in here as a walk in. After standing there for 2 minutes with nail technicians staring at me blankly as I kept smiling and saying hi someone finally yelled at me from across the room asking what I want. I said mani and pedi but only if they are available now to see me since I was in a hurry. She said yes they can see me right now. She set me up and told me to put my feet in the water. I sat there for 25 minutes with no one coming back to me before getting up and leaving… my feet were so pruny. Also I will note that someone else came in after me asking if she could see her right now (she had clearly been there before) and they saw her before me… so it seems to me of you are a regular guest you are treated well but not if you are new.

Great place and affordable prices. They work hard to ensure you’re happy. I had Ann. She did my gel pedicure and even did a cute starfish on my toes. I’ll definitely be back in the future.
If I had one complaint, I just wish she had told me she was doing yellow for the starfish nail art. Yellow on bright red toes is a tad off-​putting, but that was my fault for not checking. I will definitely be back again!

I am new to HB and very picky about pedi and mani service. Read many Unilocal reviews and finally made appt with Lily and Amy. Must say the service was fantastic and my mani and pedi looked fabulous! I no longer have to drive 30 mins to my old spa. LOVE this place and will be coming back!
