I miss my ladies in Huntington Beach, who, up until I moved to San Diego, did my nails for over 6 years. I recently tried a place closer to my new home and was reminded of what a gem I had in these ladies. They not only took their time on your nails (no matter how busy they were), but they were friendly, funny, and taught me how to say bad words in Vietnamese. If they didnt think they had enough time to give you their undivided attention, they would tell you to come in another day. Kim was amazing with designs and Lynn could get gels to stay on for over 3 weeks (although both Kim and Solange were also GREAT at that). You cant go wrong with this place. I got so many of my friends turned on to these ladies, they dont go anywhere else. I may just start making the 60 mile trip to visit them again! I MISS YOU GUYS!

Great Manis and Pedis! The only spot I will go to in Huntington Beach! They always remember you and their salon is clean. They took my whole bridal party, plus moms and were able to have everyone going at the same time. No waiting!

When I started going to Melanie’s I was living in Huntington and had finally admitted to myself that my previous salon wasn’t cutting it. After my first experience there, I knew I had found my go-​to. My nails always looked great, and I always enjoyed my time there. So much so that when I moved to Long Beach, i didn’t even think twice about continuing my patronage there. I’ve now moved to North Carolina and after three duds, I find myself missing Melanie’s even more than I thought I would. You can’t go wrong at this place — all of the girls are great!

I love Melanie and her girls! I’ve been going there since they opened 7 – 8 years ago, and even though there are tons of nail salons in the area, nobody compares. They are great at what they do. Pedicures last forever. This place is also different because they give you personal attention, remember your name, ask about family etc. Every single time you walk in, you’re greeted by name with a smile. They have fun and always create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. It is clean and you always see familiar faces you can trust. I won’t go anywhere else.

I have been going to Sue for about 10 years for my pedicures — I moved out of the area a couple of years ago and still see her as my schedule permits — I have tried about 10 other places the past two years and none compare to Sue — she is friendly — all the girls are — she is on time — she does a very detailed job — and her prices are very reasonable — I miss u Sue!

I get great mani/​pedis every time I come to Melanie’s. It’s a very small shop. Reasonably priced. Shalon usually does my nails and she is so skilled at what she does. Perfection every time! On the down side, they don’t have a large variety of polishes. Tips are cash only.

Love this place! My friends are always trying to invite me to go get my nails done with them at their places, but I am super loyal to Melanie’s. They have the perfect array of colors. I usually have trouble picking, but one of the girls always helps me and it is always a winner.

Both visits were same day appointments. They for me in and took excellent care of me each time. My nails were done with attention to detail and my requests. My toes look fabulous and the massage was phenomenal! This was a little more expensive then what I’m used to paying, but worth the extra $ 10 given I didn’t have any issues and the quality job.
