They definitely have good burritos. We tried their surf n turf that we found from a show. We thought it was going to look like what we saw, which was a wet burrito. But, it turned out to be just a regular burrito. On the other hand, their burrito was good. It had fresh shrimp inside and good amount of beef. The place looks like a tattoo shop inside and the music they place is nice too, if youre into sublime type of music. They have tv, but they show skateboarding issues in it and sometimes can be a little gory. The staff are nice too and the food was cooked fast. Id come back though just to try out their other food.

My husband and I came in to see what all fuss was about this place. We should have just continued walking because it was not good ATALL. Pricing is a little high for what you get. The OG tacos tasted so odd for a taco. Almost like the beef was cooked in teriyaki sauce and stewed for hours. Not what I want when I’m in the mood for tacos. I also got the Flounder fish taco and it had no taste at all. Waste of money and a waste of calories.

My order: steak nachos, steak burrito, shrimp tacos and a quesadilla with carnitas. Not all for me, however, I did taste most of it. My review: overall the place was clean and the staff was friendly. I was not pleased with the food. Some things weren’t too bad like the chips and salsa(chubbie sauce), but for being a first timer, I was not impressed. I expected to be wowed since the Unilocal reviews have this place rated high. Maybe it was the seasoning used for the meats or the ingredients in the guacamole, but I wasn’t a fan. At least I got to see what the fuss was about. I will not be back anytime soon.

Came here last year after the Surf City Half Marathon and was so looking forward to my return. To make it even better, it splits the building with The Acai King, so I was in heaven. Came here to reward myself after the Surf City Half Marathon. Shrimp tacos made to order and homemade tortilla chips and great salsa. Being the salsa fiend I am… I asked for another ramekin and was given it with a smile. Great staff. Sitting on the wooden picnic benches, the sun in your face, locals hanging around, well behaved dogs and surprisingly, well behaved little children… they have an indoors area too. I just love sitting outside. Seriously inexpensive and a treat on the Beach!

I love everything I’ve tried at Sanchos. My most favorite items are the chicken tacos! They incredibly scrumptious!

Probably one of the most chill stops by PCH and Main St. As someone that grew up in HB, this place has been remodeled over the years. BUT, I feel like I’m in HS10 years ago whenever I come here. Eating tacos in the sea breeze, hearing cars zoom by, and being able to pull-in and out of a spot in DTHB without looking for parking for 10 minutes.

Salsa is good, gauc is good, tortilla is good; however, the steak in my burrito was seasoned too much. It was too salty and for some reason too sweet. Maybe the tacos are better.

Very average taco place. The service was great and friendly and listened to our order well which was somewhat specific(bc I can’t have dairy) so they double checked everything which I like. However the meat was kinda tough and lacked seasoning and the tacos were small for how much we paid for them and without getting any sides. You pretty much come here for the convenience of being near Main Street at Huntington Beach with the ocean in view while you eat. You can only sit on benches outside but it was nice with the weather.

Such great food! The chicken burrito and nacho’s are bomb. Also like the breakfast burrito. Fair prices and great view to check out the waves.

*Tacos: Spicy chicken is the must-try. Try it with the coleslaw version. Spicy fish is okay since the fish is not hot enough. I expected my tacos to be freshly made so of course they should be hot or at least warm. But my fish tacos were kind of cold already. This is why i gave them 3 starts instead 4. *Place: Very nice and cool decorating location. Its good play for sport fans who want to watch games on big tv while enjoying some snacks like nachos, and of course beers.

The flavor combos they put together for the items I tried here were amazing. Deliciously well put together. Yum! Steak tacos and steak burrito are both good depending on what you are feelin. Outside seating reccomended. Can’t beat this killer view of California coast/pier/characters and sounds.

Man, I really wanted to like this place. From the outside it looks like it would serve DANK ass tacos! They’ve got surfer chicks in crop tops at the cash register and they’re bumping loud old-school hip hop. It seemed like a no-brainer. But the food was just not good. Maybe it was what we ordered? Next time I’d be down to try their breakfast taco or their burritos. What we ordered: 1) OG steak tacos: not much else in there but steak. drenched in some kind of sweet teriyaki sauce. it was weird. but unique… some people might love it. 2) Flounder fish tacos: blehh. bland. the fish was so moist that it was soggy. all the flavors blended into each other(raw cabbage, bland white sauce). really lacking flavor. 3) Shrimp tacos: was hoping this one would be a winner, but it wasn’t. Shrimp was stale and chewy. Again, huge lack of flavor. Everything is drizzled with this watered-down sour cream sauce that doesn’t do any favors for anybody. I’m not sure what happened the day we went, because everyone else seems to be raving about the food. The food we got was just mediocre.

Ah, what ambiance… loud rap music shaking the building from the back … neat murals of Mexican hombres(I’m guess Sancho himself?) and friendly tattoo’d bros up front taking your order … Place is neat, and perhaps a little intimidating. My order was made in just a few minutes, even though there was three other groups to order in front of me. I got the steak burrito. Pinto beans, rice … that’s all I really remember being inside of this burrito, except for some questionable meat. It almost looked/tasted like the first half of my burrito had carnitas. The meat was shredded and sweet … then near the end, there seemed to be some cubed meat. Reasons why this burrito did not work for me – it was too gringa! The pinto beans didn’t go well with the rice, which wasn’t seasoned very well. The meat was sweet. Ugh. The grilled tortilla would be my favorite thing. The spicy salsa I asked for on the side was spicy, but again too sweet for me. This wasn’t a bad burrito, per say, but definitely not my style. Gringo. Keep that in mind. If you want authentic Mexican food, don’t go here. $ 8 for a meh burrito.

I biked 15 miles for this. At least I had a good work out lol. Tried this place because of the reviews. Unilocaled, you have failed me. I did not like any of the tacos I ate. Try it for yourself because this place does have good reviews. — O.G.(tri tip) — it was too sweet. I like my meat salty — Federale(carnitas) — better than the OG, but still not good — flounder pounder(fish) — hmm okay — shrimp taco — eh their white sauce wasn’t good and I didn’t like their red sauce at all. It was sweet. Their green sauce was normal though. Hole Mole has GREAT white sauce

Was really expecting this to be better. My parents were visiting from Germany and we were at the pier across the street and I thought this would be a perfectly fitting lunch. While I love the vibe of the place, cool seating indoors but you can’t beat eating outside with views of the ocean plus the music was way too loud for them so we sat outside. Service was super nice, the menu sounded amazing and food came out quickly. My son had the grande quesadilla with chicken, tasty, loved the chicken, the rest really no different than anything you can make at home. My mom and I had the veggie and fish tacos, 2 of each and loved both, though they were pretty small for the price and very skimpy on the fish. My dad got the trip tip burrito and hated it, one bite and sent it back. I tried a bite as well, agreed it was way over salted and inedible. Such a shame as the tri tip seemed like the best meat on the menu. A bit of a let down, I was expecting much better, don’t think I would bother to return.

My brother, a police officer, was heavy into Kung Fu, surfing and sarcasm(I suppose it was the sex that got him into the most trouble). So I know he would’ve loved Sancho’s «Federale». A good-some portion of slow-cooked carnitas atop a tortilla with the usual suspects in seasonings would’ve been all he needed to go hog-wild, pig-style. He would’ve oinked Spanish all the way back to his patrol car, porcine love at first bite, si se puedes. So, support your local pigs. They taste mighty good here. And be sure to catch the real OJ because you know the truth and Sancho’s is guilty of having the freshest OJ(or «Hoe Jay» as Sancho likes to say) this side of the«Rockingham house». Justice is served. P. S., It’s not my photography that’s crooked… it’s the décor.
