Porky’s Pizza

Absolutely nothing special about their pizza and they are not cheap either. I got a margarita pizza which was basically an over priced cheese pizza with dried oregano sprinkled on it. It says basil on the menu but when I seebail listed as an ingredient I’m expecting to find basil leaves or chopped basil. This had neither. Two medium pizzas and 8 wings should not come out to 40 bucks from a local pizza spot. That’s just ridiculous. Thankfully I don’t live in the area and won’t have to worry about making this mistake twice.

All it took was 17 $ and 10 mins and they made a happy Robby :) The employees were very nice and had a positive attitude. I’ll be back For sure

I ordered a few pizzas over the weekend while we hosted a football watch party for the playoff games. After a few recommendations and some Unilocal research — I had to give this place its fair shot.
I ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas and 2 veggie pizzas. Both extra large sizes since we had a good amount of people over. The extra large pizza has the same amount of slices as the large but is just 2 inches bigger — FYI. Total came out to around $ 60. The gentleman over the phone was really helpful and worked on getting me the best deal with their current specials.
What disappointed me was the pizza. I wasn’t impressed by it, but it didn’t taste horrible either. I just couldn’t justify a reason to pay more in pizza for something that didn’t blow me away. I will say the customer service was hands down amazing. They were fast, friendly and very helpful.
Not sure I’m hooked on this place.

Good pizza, love they have your address on file and love the garlic knotts too! They’re always pleasant and show up usually sooner than the wait time they quote. I do wish they offered more options like pasta or something but I do like them either way.

Used to be my favorite pizza place, but the last several pizzas I have ordered are not living up to the legendary quality. I feel like they have cheapened out… consider me a papa johns customer now.

This place used to be the go-​to pizza place for my fiancée and I. We always used to enjoy our monthly XL pizza from Porky’s; however, the past few orders have been utterly disappointing. The spongy dough, lack of sauce, and less cheese have left us wondering what happened to the Porky’s we used to love.

I ordered a family deal which was a large two topping pizza with a chicken salad and 2 liter soda for 22.99. I added two toppings and had it delivered and the total was 32.00. I was expecting a higher quality pie than the large chain outfits and it didn’t dissapoint. The toppings were layered to the edge of the piza similar to round table which is a win. The sausage was good however I like a little more Italian seasoning or fennel. Could have used more mushrooms as they seemed to disappear into the cheese. Overall a good purchase but not a mind blowing pizza.

Delivery people are nice — no problems with them.
The pizza is mediocre. Customer service there needs more training. The owner needs to remember that if you want repeat customers, have good customer service. Don’t be a smart a. to your customers. I’m not naming anyone. Just freaking train your staff right. You are being paid to do a job, not outtalk your customers who are just asking to purchase food. Your customers put in effort to choose your establishment which keeps your business afloat. I’m speaking for someone else who didn’t want to. But I am affected as well and I’m not afraid to speak. Thank you. Goodbye. BTW, don’t get offended with 2 stars. Every star is a positive compliment given to you by your customers. Respect it.

Porkys pizza has always been our favorite pizza, after being out of town for several weeks my number one craving was Porkys pizza but I have to say the pizza and my ultimate favorite garlic knots were horrible the pizza was so overcooked and dry there was absolutely no flavor but a burnt taste in your mouth, the garlic knots were so over cooked and hard, there was no soft goodiness no flavor, I was soooooo disappointed since this was the only thing I was craving when I return home, but I will return some day only because I know that they have the best pizza in town, unfortunately being a merchant in the ever so overpopulated pizza business YOU HAVE to be up on your game, there is no excuse for the pizza and garlic knots that we received ;0(

Pre-​ordered their 3-​pizza with 1 topping deal on Sunday for a birthday party. I asked for 12:45 pick-​up. When I arrived at 12:30, all three pizzas were laid out with toppings, ready for the oven. I paid, and they carried the pizzas out to my car at 12:41, 4 minutes early and delicious. The service was exceptional and the pizza was perfect!

I’ve become a fan of Porky’s. A fan, as in, every time I order pizza, it’s from Porky’s.
I tried their garlic knots and their parmesan crust. I wasn’t blown away with either.
But what I do love is their traditional pizza. The sauce, the crust, the fresh toppings,
Service is always awesome and the delivery guys are always very nice.
Yes, they are a small chain but you don’t get that vibe at all.

We drove all the way here from Santa Ana just for their garlic knotts, that is all we consumed. They were fantastic and we highly recommend them.

Porkys you are amazing. We usually get half bbq sauce and half marinara. Pepperoni and garlic or The Fear! Haha

Porkys — try inventing a ranch pizza. With cheese, chicken, bacon, cilantro, and potatoes!

I’ve had Porky’s 4 times. The first and second time we had the BBQ pizza, it is my absolute favorite! The third time we just ordered garlic knots and wings. Their garlic knots are absolutely amazing but their wings needed to be cooked longer, the skin was still all rubbery like it wasn’t cooked long enough. The forth time it was the sweet and spicy pizza, because of how popular it is in the Unilocal pictures, but unfortunately it was so dry :(
Their customer service is excellent and I will continue to try different pizzas off the menu. They are super fast too!

I found this place by accident and was glad I did after I tried the pizza. I know everyone’s taste is different so this review is all my own and based on MY expectations in pizza crust, toppings, service, etc;
First off when I walked in it was right before 11 I asked if they were open to which the guy working there said absolutely come on in. A nice greeting and a great way to start off the morning /​lunch. I took a look around and saw a cooler with salads that caught my eye right away and they looked absolutely fresh and delicious so right there I had already made my choice… The antipasti salad. Then I looked at the menu and I asked if he had any lunch portions or pizza by the slice. He said they had the individual pizza as he pointed up to the wall where they had actual samples of the sizes to show you which was a great help. Individual was much larger than your typical chain pizzas that offer you something you could go buy in the freezer at your local big box store so this was perfect for me. I asked him how many toppings you get with it to which he replied 1. Only $ 0.39 for each additional topping. Excellent deal, especially for that size of pizza. I chose mushrooms, basil, and artichoke hearts. Great dressing selections for the salad and they offer Rod’s dressings which are delish. The mushrooms were fresh which I was so thankful for. I hate canned mushrooms which some chains still use. Yuck! Also, I thought it was great that instead of giving me a salad that was from the night before, he made me a fresh one. I wouldn’t have known the difference so I appreciated his honesty. Off I went with my food, got to the car and wow! Pizza was delish, hot and fresh tasting! The dough was great and I loved that the sauce and toppings came all the way out to the edge as I hate pizza ends. It was the perfect amount of sauce as I don’t like pizza globbed with tons of sauce which makes it soggy. The toppings were plentiful and so fresh. Important to note that they don’t use fresh basil which is what I honestly thought I was getting since it was listed under the toppings and I had chosen it as one of my toppings. They use dry basil which surprised me a little bit but I liked it either way. Not sure if I was charged for it as a topping but for 39 cents I could care less I honestly love dried herbs and I think they have so much flavor. I ate the whole thing right there in my car! The salad I enjoyed for dinner. Very good salad! I’ll have to try the Alfredo sauce and thin crust next time. It’s a drive for me from Newport/​Irvine but I definitely think it’s worth it! I was down there on an errand and not normally in that area but I was definitely glad I happened to stumble upon this little gem of a pizza place!

Not only is this the best tasting pizza in Huntington Beach, but they do good for the community as well.
I volunteer every year with the Share Our Selves charity in Costa Mesa that year round provides health care for low income families in Orange County. Every year, SOS also organizes the Adopt a Family drive to benefit those families during Christmas time who would otherwise not be able to afford a Christmas on their own. It’s a massive effort, and a lot of man hours and $$ goes into the project.
Long story short, I ordered pizza from Porky’s the other day and when the driver came to the door, he noticed all the gifts my friends and coworkers had collected for the family all holed up in my one bedroom apartment. It probably looked like I robbed a Target or something. When I explained what was going on, he mentioned how cool that was and how his store would like to help some way…
Well, by that time it was too late to adopt a family for the organization, but Craig (the owner of Porky’s) called me the next day and offered his services. I knew they needed pizzas for the volunteers at the site, so he generously offered to provide free pizzas for all the workers helping out, and said that now that he knows about what this charity does, he would love to be even more involved next year and adopt a family himself. What a guy! I couldn’t believe it… we didn’t reach out to them, but THEY CALLED US to see what they could do to help.
PLEASE SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. It’s guys like Craig and the whole team at Porky’s that remind me why it is SO IMPORTANT to support small businesses, especially the good guys.

Super excited to find they have a Porky’s Pizza in HB! Moved here from Aliso Viejo 5 years ago which is where I first discovered Garlic Knots. I was super sad I would have to drive all the way back down there to satisfy my cravings, until I found this location a few days ago.
Ordered the garlic knots for take out and they said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Got there a little early and it was waiting for me– very happy about that! The staff was super friendly as well.
Couldn’t wait to get home to eat it, so started eating in the car… was a bit disappointed because they were over crispy, almost burnt. But I was starving so I ate them all. Hopefully it was just a one time thing and next time they won’t be as over cooked! Still had the buttery garlic flavor I remember!
