WOW where do I begin!!!
This review is absolutely necessary, and long Overdue!!!
I have had the most amazing facial!!!
My skin looks and feels amazing!
My skin tone is light and extremely sensitive!!! Usually I leave a spa looking like a bright red lobster but Fortunately Monica is extremely knowledgeable and she was able to accomplish what i needed regardless of my skin type and i looked normal!!!
Monica was very nice and She’s absolutely amazing at what she does!!!
It was Easy to make an appointment!
Prices are reasonable!
Very Relaxing!
Clean, Cute and theraputic!

Monica is amazing! This is not a run of the mill «spa facial». I have experienced lots of overpriced facials at big «fancy» spas, but have never had the results I do after seeing Monica. She truly treats the individual, her treatments are theraputic, and she helps you get great results quickly. The other thing I love about seeing Monica, she doesn’t try to constantly sell you on expensive multi-​step skincare products. She has only ever recommended 2 products to me and they both last a long time.

Monica is the best! How many people do you know can say they can fall asleep while they are having their wax done?! I’ve seen Monica a few times for both facials and waxing. Her attention to detail and aim for perfection is truly spectacular. When someone is as much of a perfectionist as you — you know that you are in good hands. I never feel rushed and she is very thorough making sure everything is aligned and clean. Besides helping you achieve the perfect eyebrows she does wonders on your skin. She is skilled, passionate and full of advice on what you can do to keep my face clean and clear. I always leave feeling rejuvenated and my skin is glowing after.
The space is located in the same building as the US Bank. If you are looking for someone new she is your go-​to person.

I am gonna regret writing a 5 star review for this place, for one I may not get a next day appointment if everyone knows about this place!!! Today is not the day to be selfish and as a true Unilocaler, I have my compelled desire to write reviews and tell the world things I see hear experience!
Body hair isnt my thing and I get them nuked the first chance I get, and its kind of job requirement for me being nightwalker at weho on weekends. (just kidding bitches!). Jen Gaffi at Total Body Care has been my goto wax person in OC, and even now she is one of the best people in OC however, its so hard to get an appointment with her. I am soo happy for her, however, I wanted to find someone that I can get an easy appointments without having to wait for weeks, and heard about Monica through a really good friend of mine.
So for I been to this place twice, and getting an appointment is such a breeze, i call them on the phone (no frills of web and stuff, and they believe in old style phone system which is cool!). You will get Jesse most time who works the front and both times i have gotten next day appointment. yay to that!
Now Monica’s details to work is something to admire, and come back for! She takes her time, spends every second and minute of it to make sure she get the job done right. She is such a perfectionist, with no rushing you through the schedule. Meticulous is the word i would describe. I walked out liking my skin even more, and it was all done with out much pain. She is very patient, and takes her time to get to know what is it you want, and works her magic. I have done both my eye brows, and waxed my arms and legs. I have liked the work!!! she may be one fo the best people to do eye brows. she spent close to 20minutes to make sure to shape the eye brows perfect. without making it look any weird. the prices are very reasonable.
The place itself is not anything like a spa. Its very clean looking space that looks white all over the walls and ceilings and such. Kind of reminds me of a clean dentist office. However she has this mood music playing with buddha and such. so its not that scary.
The place is in huntington beach which is out of the way for me, however, I dont mind taking hike up to go there, for one, I get my appointments faster, and two — the work is perfect!!!
I think I found another gem of a wax person in OC. and if you are looking for someone to try — be sure to call Monica a call. I am sure you will like her work!!!

I have driven in from Rancho Cucamonga to get my Monica perfect eyebrows and not only is she good at waxing but she’s even better at facials!
