This is my favorite Chinese restaurant! The family goes here at least twice a month! The restaurant is ALWAYS neat and clean and of course they know us by now, my 94 yr old father-in-law is quite the charmer. You can get won ton noodles but you have to ask, and of course the hot tea is hot… just not steeped so give it a few minutes. I usually get the chicken with veggies… always served hot and fresh. Other dishes we frequent are walnut shrimp… excellent. .shrimp are good size! We’ve eaten teriyaki chicken… also very good… heavy on the sauce. no skimping. My hot tip is… get there before 3pm for lunch… like any Chinese restaurant. Lunch prices are better than dinner. Service is great! Make you feel like family… in a good way! The atmosphere is very colorful. I love the jazz music they play. I know we’ll be back!

First time here. The service was just ok but the food was great and lots of it. We had teriyaki beef and Kung Pau Chicken with soup. Very tasty and big variety to choose from. We’ll be back

DONOTGETFOODDELIVERED. I waited 2 hours for Chinese food that was over priced and mediocre. I will not be going back.

Horrible service! We waited over 20 minutes and barely got our drinks with cups for hot tea. What made it worse was they weren’t even half full for a restaurant.

Obviously understaffed for a Sunday afternoon. There was one waiter for the entire place. There were enough people there to fill half of the seats In the restaurant. We waited twenty minutes and left without placing an order. Management should consider reviewing the way they staff the place.

Always amazing food. Very busy on Christmas Eve. I used to work nearby but now I work in Costa Mesa and dearly miss the Kung Pao Bowl lunch specials. Tonight we had our favorites — hot & sour soup(delish), moo shu pork & Mongolian Trio with asparagus(added). Our favorite Chinese restaurant in North OC. YUMMMY!

Finding an amazing Chinese restaurant that reminds me of my childhood and is even remotely good is tough. This place is awesome! Takes me back to the time before Chinese fast food in a box. I perused Uelp for Chinese delivery hoping and groping to find a spot that made decent Mongolian Beef, Double Pan Fried Noodles and Teriyaki Chicken for the kids. I was thrilled by the reviews but cringed a little at the prices. Thus the four stars. I was shocked at how quick my food arrived! Everything I ordered was amazing. Despite being a little pricey, I have already ordered more than once. My children are very picky eaters, and they absolutely loved the Mongolian Beef! overall I’m really excited to a found a good, local Chinese restaurant that delivers, and the staff has been very friendly as well.

Came to this restaurant a few times and so far the customer service is horrible. The food is descent but don’t expect too much from the service.

Where do I begin? The food is amazing, the service is amazing and the staff is outstanding. There is waiter there named Mike who is absolutely a great guy… He always super serves us and we have great conversations. Some of my favorite dishes are: Mongolian Trio, Singapore Rice Noodles, green beans and shrimp, war wonton soup, avocado salad, butterfly shrimp and the crab wontons. I go at least once a week! Highly recommended.

Just had dinner here and it was wonderful. We ordered Kung Pao Three and Hot Braised Beef. Also a couple other dishes, everything was delicious. The service was great, we had Howard as our waiter. The owner Lilly is very nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back very soon.

Some reviews refer to bad service. We had outstanding service from the hostess to to waitress including the water server and the chip server. The owner(or manager) came by to check on us also. The food was good and large portions. This is a casual family friendly place with service much more expensive restaurants would envy. We will be back when the Chinese urge hits.

One of my buddies took me out to this place today, and it was absolutely amazing. I have never encountered such amazing service, and it is a guarantee that the servers would refill your water before it reaches halfway. I got the walnut shrimp, eggdrop soup, kungpao chicken, fried rice and pork chow mein. I highly reccomend all of these entrees, but the walnut shrimp is phenomenal. Seriously, you won’t regret trying it out. I am most definately coming back here again, and am going to try the orange peel entrée that the server reccomended. Thank you for an amazing dinner!

This is by far the most gipped I have ever been by a Chinese restaurant. The food is mediocre at best and the serving sizes are laughable. My husband and I ordered the Mongolian trio, fried rice, and lettuce wraps. Total=40 bucks. The portion was barely enough for the both of us! Typically when we order Chinese there is enough for the two of us and lunch the next day. With this place the taste was not the best and left me still hungry. If you are looking for the typical large portions this is not the place to go. I definitely will re think this one next time.

Still a family favorite. Went back recently — and still love it. sigh. Food — is awesome. Don’t let the plaza and location mislead you — its good portions, reasonable prices, and healthy cooking. I forget that i can still eat Asian food without being left dehydrated and having a headache. This place and In-N-Out are always on my list to hit up whenever I find myself back in socal. Double double and House special fried rice? Yes please.

The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We love this place! No heating lamps here. They prepare everything you order fresh! Everything comes out piping hot and juicy! I love those complimentary fresh fried wontons and their homemade red sweet and sour sauce. No joke, I can eat 1 whole plate to myself. They also offer a legit Chinese spicy mustard with it. That thing is serious business! Not for the feint of heart — that mustard packs some serious flavor and heat. We love it and always get extra to enjoy with our meal. If you check into Unilocal they will also provide you with complimentary cabbage/vegetable eggrolls. These are what dreams are made of: Hot braised garlic eggplant — Yummy comforting braised eggplants. Melts in your mouth like butta. The flavor is perfection. They know how to prepare this dish well here. Very fresh! Crispy sweet and sour pork — They make it so good here!!! incredibly crispy and flavorful! They prepare it fresh to order and it is really satisfying. The little crispy pork morsels pops in your mouth and super juicy! Not dry at all. Salty, sweet, and sour. Yum all the way. Hot braised crispy beef — My favorite! they prepare this fresh as well and it combines out piping hot and crispy. The beef is coated in a delectable sweet and salty sauce and it is tender and flavorful. You can skip this: BBQ pork chow fun noodles — Meh. I am not typically a fan of this dish because it always tastes like oil with a dash of soy sauce. But when the fat noodle cravings hit, this will have to do.
