Joanna has been serving myself with facials for 6 years and my wife for much longer. We have had facials before at the best known spas and no one compares to the quality of work that Joanna does. She is got a real special talent and she is super caring. Her prices are very reasonable. Truly a hidden gem.

I just had Joanna put on eyelash extensions… they look an feel fabulous… She really takes her time and it shows… I’ve had my lashes done before and was very unhappy… A year ago my niece wanted lash extensions for her birthday, so I did a lot of research and took her to Joanna… Joanna let me sit in the room an watch… I’m pretty sure there is not many people who would let someone sit and watch… So when I decided I was ready to get lashes I knew exactly who was gonna do them… Her prices might be a bit high… but you get what you pay for… PERFECTION!!!

I am extra picky. If the service isn’t top notch, you will NOT see my face ever again. However I am not likely to voice a complaint or write a bad review. It’s just not something I am comfortable doing. I decided to write this review today because Joanna asked. It seems like a disgruntled client has posted a bad review and it has instantly effected her business. I have no direct knowledge of this other client’s issues but if there was something adversely sprayed into her eye then she could file a small claims suit. The disgruntled client also stated she was in consult of an attorney. If that’s true and there still isn’t any claim filed, she probably is leaving material facts out of her post. Material facts that wouldn’t reward her the $ 3000 of cost she has demanded from Joanna.
My experience has been nothing but positive. I was so unsure about getting lash extensions. I read up on it and watched Youtube clips to get more insight. When I finally got the courage this past summer, I selected Joanna because of all the good reviews. She worked her magic, my results feel and look like the perfect touch. Each lash is carefully attached and precisely placed to give a beautiful and natural look. I couldn’t believe my eyes could look so pretty!!! Lash extensions are really high maintenance and the cost adds up;-) but it is worth every penny and every compliment.

Joanna is simply the BEST! I’ve been coming to her for lashes for over a year and I couldn’t be happier with her work! She uses high quality lashes that are definitely a stand out from other lash places… they are soft and comfortable and I receive compliments on them regularly. She is meticulous in her work, making sure every lash is applied separately. She really takes her time with her clients to make sure they are comfortable and leave with the result they want. I’ve never had a moment of discomfort with her lashes, either during application or after… and they simply look AMAZING! 2 years since my last review and I am still very happy with Joanna’s work. She’s amazing. Everyone I meet wants to know who’s doing my lashes. I can’t imagine how anyone couldn’t be satisfied.

This woman Joanna splashed EYELASH REMOVER into my right eye ball because she thought it was an «EYE DROP BOTTLE». I thought i was going to be blind. She was so panic that she couldnt even take me to the hospital. Yes, i had to drive myself to the hospital with one eye open n while the other eye is burning in pain. My hospital bill and eye doctor fee cost almost $ 3000 all on me. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!
And Joanna’s medical insurance is the worst. They still haven’t done anything for me since the incident. Even tho my lawyer tried to contact them for more than a year already… very upset…

Joanna is EXTREMELY talented woman and with lashes and skin care she is the BEST around !! My lashes are spectacular every time, leaving me to get compliment after compliment! Not only are my lashes to die for… The amazing Joanna has finally after years and years straightened out my skin, it’s now flawless thanks to her expertise! Not only is she the best… she is the sweetest most kind woman ever! I absolutely love her and would not go elsewhere even if it was free… If you want the best go to her…

I went and got my first microdermabrasion facial today. Joanna was very nice and made me feel really comfortable. She did a fantastic job and my skin feels and looks amazing. The office was nice and clean. I will definitely be going back!

I’ve been to several places in Newport Beach and around Orange County with nice results, but the REAL test for lash extentions is how they look as they grow out!
Unlike lashes from other places that started pointing in different directions, clumpy, poking my eyes, and at times itchy — — my lashes have lasted a long time and are growing out looking SO much more natural than any other place!
Unike other places, Joanna is not just trained, she’s Professionally Certified. I highly recommend you go to her, and not wait to go to her to fix the messed up job by some cheaper place!

I had to Unilocal around for a good certified beauty person to do my eye lash extensions for the first time and Joanne’s house of beauty showed up. I decide to give it a try and I was not disappointed but very satisfied by the results. I did not experience any pain as some others had pointed out and the whole process was relaxing and i didn’t feel any discomfort. I’m so happy with my eyelashes as i opt for a half set which i look more natural. I highly recommend Joanna!

I have been a faithful follower of Joanna for over 14 years. Joanna is very personable, kind and informative about how to keep my skin in pristine condition. When I need help with my skin I don’t bother going to my dermatologist, I see Joanna. I am 100% satisfied with the wonderful service she provides and friendship we have developed over the years.

This place was ok for me. Expensive to me, as fill was $ 85. And unfortunately 7 – 10 lashes fell off first couple days…

I had eyelash extensions put in by another salon, and they were driving me absolutely crazy after nine days.
I called Joanna’s and she got me in to remove them within a couple hours of my phone call, sweet!
Since my original extensions took 2.5 hours to put in (and I DO NOT have the patience for that) I was concerned with how long it would take to remove them.
Joanna said it would take about thirty minutes. It took thirty minutes just like she said. It wasn’t as painful as I had prepped myself to believe. Sure, it burns a bit. But Joanna is VERY gentile and tells you what she is doing every step of the way.
The chair you lay in is a full body massage chair. I’m not usually a big fan of these things but it was AWESOME to have that going on while she was working on me to take my mind off her being directly in my eyes with something that burns.
Overall, I highly recommend Joanna’s. She’s been doing this for eight years too. Trust me, you want someone with experience if you are doing anything lash related. It might cost a bit more but it’s totally worth it.

After getting my eyelashes fucked up at a different salon, I frantically called a bunch of places to get it removed ASAP. Most people just told me to go to the original place since they should have glue remover for whatever glue they used. But really, I didn’t trust those people with anything close to my eyes anymore. Thankfully, I found Joanna, and she was willing to see me the same day.
Apparently I was the fourth person that week to come in with caterpillar eyelashes that needed fixing. She showed me some pictures of her previous clients which made me feel slightly better, yet somewhat disturbed that so many horrible places are still in business. The glue remover burned like hell (I’m pretty sure it’s acetone), but Joanna tried to be as gentle as possible. Whenever it started stinging really bad, she’d flush out my eyes with saline to prevent it from doing serious damage.
After the grueling session, she had successfully removed all my hideous lashes without pulling my natural lashes out. There were still some clumps of glue that were left because it was seriously a mess. I don’t hold it against her. I found her to be incredibly accommodating for fitting me in just 10 minutes before she closed for the day. And she spent a whole hour trying to safely remove my lashes.

Joanna is amazing with lashes. She will go way over the alloted time just to make sure your lashes are perfect. She does all of them one-​by-​one and with dimension and multiple layers. They look crazy real and are not thick or stick together.
She also has a vibrating table as well as soft music in the back ground.
Plus, not only does she do lashes she also does microderm, facials, hair removal — you name it! You just have to take one look at her to know she’s legit!
