Haole Boys went above & beyond when they catered an End of Year party at my son’s Pre-​K-​8^th grade school. It was a day long event & the kids were ecstatic to have the HB truck parked on the playground wth (BTW), the nicest guys shaving up the ice ALL DAY!!! It was amazing to see the joy & happiness created by the Haole Boys cups of shaved ice!!!
It’s not easy to find a treat that can be enjoyed & shared by all the kids & HB shaved ice is lovingly made with natural ingredients & it’s free of synthetic dyes and allergens. Our school happens to have a lot of kids with food sensitivities and allergens (not to mention vigilant health conscious parents!) and Haole Boys handcrafted product pleased kids. parents, and school staff alike. Not an easy task!
Lastly, It’s always a little daunting selecting vendors for an event this size and I can tell you that from the first phone call inquiring about their services to the actual event Jimmy was a delight to work with. You really have to call and talk to them to experience just how much they love what they do & it shows in the amazing product they produce.
In closing, I’m excited to see how this company grows in the future & hopefully becomes the «gold standard» for shaved ice in SoCal!!!

I can’t begin to tell you how many parents and kids said how great the different flavors were — one parent got me a cup of root beer flavored because she didn’t want me to miss tasting it!

I had the orange creamsicle with the condensed milk snowcap, and my only regret is that I didn’t get one more.

Had this spot today with my boyfriend and it was super yummy ! Lots of flavors and the ice is perfectly shaved (sometimes there’s big ice chunks) I got green apple, pineapple, and blue bubble gum boyfriend got the Hawaiian sunrise both were super yummy and I will deff get shaved ice again if I ever see it

Super good, and the one who served me was such a super nice guy! Saw this truck parked on the side of beach Blvd in Huntington Beach while I was doing a ⁴⁄₂₀ run and couldn’t help to buy one when I saw a couple with a cup in their hands! It was a smart idea to park by a marijuana medical clinic on ⁴⁄₂₀ to get customers lol

They were at my wife’s school Halloween carnival last night and it was the perfect touch for a warm fall night. Their shave ice is so light and refreshing, done in the traditional Hawaiian style. The syrups are natural and not heavy. I had the guava and mango mix. So good! Jimmy, the owner was super cool and friendly. I highly recommend Haole Boys!

The best shave ice hands down. Reminds me of summers in Hawaii when I was a kid. Lots of great flavors, try the peach or cake batter for something different.

Fantastic shave ice! The ice itself is perfectly powdery. If you have had shave ice on the islands then you know what I mean. Flavor options are varied and not overly sweet. Plus the owner and his family are extremely kind. We love Haole Boys Shave Ice!

Extra stars. Always amazing customer service, friendly attitude and always willing to give suggestions. We have tried a few different flavors and also from their secret menu. Hands down the best shave ice in Orange County. Jimmy is very nice and always attentive to the customers. Must try it if you ever catch them

My boys and I enjoyed some shaved ice while visiting DTSA’s Farmer’s Market (it was a very warm night so the timing was just right).
Unfortunately, soon after my youngest had received his treat his brother collided with him and he dropped his entire cup. The owner, Jimmy, became aware of this and readily replaced this. I really appreciated the friendly and hospitable way we were treated by Jimmy, who went out of his way to make sure my boys and I had enjoyed our shaved ice.
Btw: The shaved ice was delicious! I highly recommend Haole Boys and we’ll be looking forward to more of their delicious shaved ice!

Once again Haole Boys did an outstanding job at my daughters birthday party. Jimmy handled the private party by himself and did a wonderful job. Everyone loved the shave ice and the customer service was as always exceptional!!! The table service was a great option for the small private event. Thank you so much Jimmy I hope to continue to have you at all future events I have!!! And the Hawaiian sunrise that Jimmy suggested I try was amazing, THE BEST SHAVE ICE AROUND!

I got the regular strawberry with vanilla ice cream, and Jimmy recommended the condensed milk on top. It was delicious, and the portion was very generous. Jimmy was really friendly and helpful. Two of my coworkers texted me while I was buying my shave ice, and said they were on their way to buy a shave ice to share. When I relayed this to Jimmy, he stayed open to accommodate my coworkers, even though he had been planning to close the truck for the day. I will definitely stop by when I see the truck again.

The haole truck is a great concept; who doesn’t want shaved ice on a warm, hot or even chilly day?!. After visiting once and chatting with the owner I am inclined to give it an ok rating. I look forward to trying it out again, whenever I see the truck again!

It’s not too sweet, the flavors are balanced with the sweet condense milk, and the vanilla ice cream at the bottom of my Sunrise was the perfect touch!
I can’t wait to bring my wife and kids to try this!
