Hamboards

My experience at the shop was beyond my expectations. Soon as i walked in, there was someone there ready to assist me in choosing the perfect board that fit my style of riding. I will def be going back for another board soon enough… There is nothing better than buying an amazing board from a family owned business

I hadn’t skated in decades. I just moved back from Chicago and the Huntington Hop caught my eye. I picked it up and something just felt right. There was something not just about the quality, but the finishing. It was clearly handmade. There are slight imperfections, and I like it. Someone actually took the time to put it together. I don’t know if they are all signed and numbered, but mine is. I intended to just take rides at the beach with my son, but its addicting and almost therapeutic to ride. I’m surprised as to how responsive and agile it is while still being a comfortable ride for distance and speed. The components are clearly well thought out. I can’t say enough about the ride. The unexpected looks and comments are non-​stop. I’m surprised I don’t see more Hamboards out there. It seems like every time I take it out I get someone stopping me to ask about it. Just last week I had someone yell down from The Santa Monica Pier as I skated underneath «hey, is that a Hamboard?». This has happened in grocery stores, bars, and while skating down the street. who knew? I was looking for something that was understated and simple. It truly captured the spirit of a longboard, not only in the ride, but visually also.

Our family has the bamboo Hamboard and it is excellent. Even our dog loves to ride this board. It carves like a surfboard and is very sturdy. Mostly it’s fun to ride. Get one.

Loving the fish out of water «longboard skateboards». My husband and sons have hit to the street w their boards. Im getting one w a paddle for my 50^th! ITS SO COOL!
