Great crowd bit not true reggae island music… Very disappointing. One bartender to make all drinks. Ridiculous. This is for true visitors not for those From The East Coast. No flavor Here no air conditioning as well… This place screamed suana room! Seemed like they only had one waitress we were there one hour before a waitress came and took our order and never introduced herself or ask was this or first visit. Worst part the waitress had the wrong drinks in our bill from the bartender. Very shady. Waitress keeps asking for your card as a Twan bit kept mixing orders at the table. Beware folks!!! Those From The island and Florida this is not for you… You would be truely disappointed. Sorry just speaking truth.

What’s better than an afternoon/evening of live reggae played by veteran professionals like the allstars. It’s the best.

As good as it gets! Perfect for family celebrations to dine and dance all your cares away in an exquisite atmosphere flashing red, gold & green. Music by the masters of Trenchtown Rock, Bob Marley Songs, Reggae Covers, Originals, with special featured artist surprises each week. One love vibes in an exotic and tropical beach and rainforest paradise, reggae tiki style! It’s truly the best deal for any family and group or singles who mingle. Spacious enough to dance at your seat and yet everyone is dancing on the floor and throughout. Food’s fabulous, service outstanding. The club is well managed and has different musical events in different rooms and environments simultaneously. It’s a really fun place and you won’t be let down. More important, Fully Fullwood and his refreshingly talented band of artists featured each week with special presentations by Fully Fullwood in his vision to help end youth homelessness through Reggae. For decades, the masters in a welcoming environment, give thanks and praise. Help a perfect cause, treat yourselves to some happiness, peace and one love!

Great band, great crowd, great vibes. All friendly and fun times to be had here. The band is staffed with reggae legends. Although they often turn the mic over to local and international phenoms. The bar is friendly, and it’s hard to best the happy hour pricing. The crowd is full of friendly regulars. Come twice and you’ll become part of the crowd.

If you want to spend a relaxing, fun afternoon listening to the best reggae music in Orange County, head to Don the Beachcomber in Huntington Beach from 3 – 7 p.m. for Fully Fullwood’s Live Reggae Sundays. Fully is a legendary reggae bassist who played with Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Soul Syndicate and many more. The rest of the band is made up of similarly accomplished musicians such as drummer Rock Deadrick(Ziggy Marley, Tracy Chapman), guitarist Bruno Coon(music editor for movies such as Monster’s University, Meet the Fockers, etc), and rhythm guitarist Tony Chin, also of Soul Syndicate. I’ve been going to the event since it started in the summer of 2011 and I’ve never been disappointed. Most weeks the band invites singers and musicians from other bands to play, creating a nice variety of music. You’ll hear the popular standards from Bob Marley, etc and originals from band members and guest artists. Along with great music, the atmosphere at Don’s is tropical and casual, adding a nice vibe. They offer drink specials and the food is OK. The dance floor is always packed, and the crowd is a mix of all ages and all backgrounds. The show is connected to Reggae for a Reason, a non-profit that benefits homeless kids. The $ 5 cover charge is more than reasonable.
