Re Max All Stars

One bad employee can ruin your whole experience with a company. I’m sure Remax All Stars has many competent Agents, however my sister and I worked with John Dattilo (a sales associate) and we were very disappointed with his lack of professionalism.
I spoke with John on the phone about a listed property for rent, made an appointment for the next day to view the property (at the time I appreciated his flexibility), but when my sister went to see the property no one showed up! My sister called to see if he or another associate were just running late, and she was told they couldn’t find the key. Ok, but a call would have been appreciated. They rescheduled the viewing for the next day, my sister went again to see the property, liked it, and asked for a renters application.
It took two days for him to finally send us the application (after several unanswered calls). We faxed him the application the next day, and waited, and waited, and waited to hear from him. My sister and I both called him repeatedly to check on the status of the application but we kept getting his voicemail. When we did get him, he was unhelpful and vague. We finally heard five days later (from one of his associates, Frank, not even John!) that we didn’t get the apartment. Frank explained that another renter got the apartment because their parents would be co-​signers on the lease. If John had ever talked to us he would have found out that our parents (who live nearby) would have been happy to co-​sign our lease. Overall it was a very bad experience. I’m very disappointed with how unprofessional and at times rude, John Dattilo could be. I will certainly never work with him again and would have to think twice before working with Remax All Stars…
