Great food and wonderful staff! I go here all the time, and it’s always great! I love their smoothies and the Java milkshake.

Came here for a latte and a quick bite before an appt. Unilocal sent me here and I have mixed feelings on it. Completely in love with the feel of the space and my latte and breakfast burrito but heart broken that it is so far from me. Open a location in Ambler? Pretty please???

My husband and I stumbled on this gem from perusing the Unilocal app. We were looking for a place to eat brunch after our church service. When we first walked in the door, we weren’t sure what to expect. But once we tasted the barista burrito and 2.0 burrito, our tastebuds were blown away. Everything was incredible. The staff were kind and attentive. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We loved it and will come back again. If you’re having second thoughts about this place, BOOM. Eat here.

I was really excited to discover an independent coffee shop near me. However, it is not the coffee shop aesthetic one would expect. Ambience: Mauve walls make the long room feel small, especially with the lack of natural light. Mismatched wrought iron patio chairs and glass table tops, some with anatomy sketches(what an appetite suppressant!) A couple of small sofas from grandma’s 1970’s collection. Canvas art of jungle animals and mismatched shelves with books and wedding cakes(?). Cool white LED Christmas lights. The floors look they have seen three decades. The overall décor is confusing(retro? shabby chic? granola?) It seems like the intention of it being cozy and unique wants to be there but it doesn’t translate. Purchased: *Cranberry coconut breakfast bar Tasting notes: room temperature hash brown with nuts and craisins. Dry and bland. *Small soy latte Espresso tasted robust and I enjoyed the drink. Nothing fancy with the presentation. Served in a mug that looks like it was taken from my mom’s Christmas mug collection. My latte was forgotten about. I waited for a few minutes and watched others get their drinks. The boys behind the counter kept smiling when they glanced at me yet did not cue into why I was still standing in front of them. As the guy made my latte I could hear him keep frothing the milk until it was done.(One should only froth 2 – 5 seconds for a latte). As he removed the milk from the steam wand he barely sprayed out the nozzle.(a steam wand needs to be sprayed out for a full second or two to release trapped milk). As he handed the drink towards me he overfilled the mug, hence spilling it all over his hand and the counter. He wiped the side of the mug and then set it down. There is no real hand off plane, which should be at hip level so as to avoid over reaching and spilling the coffee. The staff behind the counter looked like they were plucked from the local high school baseball team. They are friendly but lack intuitiveness and are a bit unorganized. The plate my cookie was served on was circa 1970’s grandma’s house but the botanical print on it gave it charm. Other desserts in the case looked more decadent and promising. I will definitely return to see what else they offer. Need a better staff that is knowledgeable in coffee culture. A necessity! Inside décor needs an overhaul. Definitely has potential to blossom into something extraordinary. Great location.

This is absolutely a hidden gem of «The valley». I can’t believe I just found it. I have met a new love. I did feel like I was cheating on All Ways Café just a tad. Despite it being located on the end of a strip mall, it’s really surprisingly cute. There’s a little outdoor seating area in the front and the inside is very homey and inviting. It has that cool, laid back coffee shop vibe. I expected Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Phoebe & Joey to pop out. I ordered the Spicy Moroccan Chickpea Salad for just $ 6.50! Chickpeas seasoned with cumin, coriander, garlic, and red pepper served with sautéed spinach, roasted beets, roasted butternut squash, and pumpkin seeds. First off I love that they serve on actual dishes! The salad looked somewhat small but was actual very filling and perfectly seasoned. I also got a Go Green smoothie which was yummy. Standard beginner green so it’s a no fail. The baked goods looked to die for so I naturally had to get something to go. I got my girls a huge oatmeal raisin cookie and I got the breakfast cookie which was perfectly crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle with cranberries and oats. Yum! Should’ve bought more of them! I will most definitely be returning when I’m in the area.

There aren’t enough awesome mom and pop styled coffee shops and cafes like Be Well Café. At least in the Huntingdon Valley area. As a barista at Starbucks, I always go out and get coffee and lattes at different shops to compare quality and taste. The cappuccino I had at Be Well was great! The quality of their espresso beans are top notch. I haven’t tried any of their beautiful looking pastries yet(I know, shame on me), but the food I had both times I was there was delicious. Last year I got the fall harvest salad. It was full of superfoods like kale and squash, and it was the type of salad that actually fills you up! I also love the décor and the intimacy of the café. It’s definitely a great spot for a date or for a small group of friends. I’m planning on returning soon, and this time, I’m gonna splurge and get some yummy pastries! Everyone needs a cheat day, right? ;)

This is a great summer go-to spot for me. I bring my dogs, sit outside, order the barista burrito and a smoothie and I’m content. I do think it’s a bit pricey being that the interior is very run down. I wish that they would update the café and make it more comfortable for customers.

What a great little place! My husband and I, along with another couple, were in the area to go on a tour of Cairnwood Estate. Our guide recommended Be Well to us when we mentioned wanting some lite fare for lunch before heading home. Three of the four of us had panini and all were excellent. Specifically, I had the Chicken Pesto and my husband had the Tomato Spinach Pesto. He is a meat-and-potatoes kind of guy and doesn’t try new stuff too often, so for him to(1) try it and(2) like it really says a lot! We didn’t try their coffee, but will certainly give this place another go the next time we’re in the area.

A reliable option for a good breakfast or brunch when we’re at home. Fresh and healthy options, and pleasant, happy staff. Couldn’t ask for too much more – but please bring back the avocado toast!

Amazing service, the best fruit cups and lattes are delicious ! Wanted to find a new coffee/café spot in the area and I think this will be my new favorite spot ! Can’t wait to try the smoothies. Also, gluten free banana chocolate chip bread was perfect !

I’ve been to Be Well Bakery & Café three weekends in a row– now that I’ve discovered it! It’s located in a nice little parking lot, with lots of trees and places to sit outside. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, and they’re such a good price for what you get, and for getting to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere. The chipotle sauce on the breakfast sandwiches(Barista’s breakfast wrap, and others) is DELICIOUS and Its hard to think about anything else while consuming it… The iced coffee is also really good. I haven’t had a pastry that I’ve been absolutely crazy about yet, but the gluten free chocolate chip banana bread was good! I keep wanting to try the Ryan’s Breakfast, but its hard to say no to the Barista Wrap with its tasty avocados and chipotle sauce. I will be back soon! Oh, and they also have free wifi and a good amount of tables. :)

Though the workers were nice and friendly and the atmosphere was nice and welcoming, I have to say the food wasn’t disappointed nor amazing. It was ok. The only reason why I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 3 is because of the coffee drink they had — can’t recall the name — but it was good. Nice place to hang out and meet friendly people.

Very nice atmosphere. Love the barista burrito with turkey bacon. I’ve had it on both my visits and it was consistently good. Do yourself a favor and give it a try

4.5 stars. A little hipster, and likely to be field with high school students on any given afternoon, but Be Well is a great addition to the area for fresh and delicious food, generally healthy(if you don’t go to the sweets counter that is), that won’t break the budget. Went for the first time a few days ago, but now probably my go-to spot for breakfast or lunch. Think of it like a tastier panera; You’ve got salads, wraps, paninis, and two breakfast menus, one for all day and one only before 11:30am(1:30 on the weekends). Here’s what we got. BLT Avocado(4⁄5): I usually have reservations about turkey bacon, but they gave 3 – 4 large slices of it on this sandwich and it actually tasted pretty good. The avocado, tomato, and spinach were fresh as always and I actually quite enjoyed the chipotle aioli and lemon dressing that came with the spring mix. A sandwich AND a salad, so this is certainly a good option. I just wish they had toasted the bread… but I feel like you can ask them to do that. Butternut Bean Burrito(5⁄5): Get this. It’s hot pressed so it comes to your table crispy and warm, and the filling just works. If you want, add chicken and substitute the mozzarella for feta, it’s not just one of the best vegetarian dishes, but one of the best brunch dishes I’ve had lately. Chicken Apple Cheddar(3⁄5): A little disappointing. The ingredients were all fresh, but the ratio was a bit off. Too much apple, not enough chicken and honey mustard. The panini was pressed fine though, so if you are craving one i would opt for one of the pesto based ones instead. If you feel like you’ve gotten some good food karma points for eating healthy, have no fear! They have a decently sized but fantastic looking variety of baked goods too, to royally ruin your diet again. We tried the brownie cookie sandwich with salted caramel crème inside, and the flavors were perfectly balanced(not overly sweet). My only complaint is that it was harder than I expected when I first bit into it, but as we left it on the plate it warmed up and become soft and chewy as I prefer it to be(More like the texture of an oatmeal crème pie). Can’t wait to try out more of their cakes and tarts, and especially their breakfast only menu, which has a lot of dishes under $ 5!

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we stopped in this small café, although we shouldn’t have been with all the good reviews. My wife is from Northeast Philadelphia and has passed this place many times. Thought we’d give it a try for breakfast. Awesome. Fun ambiance. Great coffee. We both had lattes which tasted like the barista really cared about the quality and really put some art and heart in it. She had a bagel, I had the Barista Burrito, which was awesome: fresh avocado, lettuce, kale, a soft cooked egg, and added turkey bacon for $ 1. A side of fresh fruit topped it off perfectly. We’ll be back.

Wow! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the prices are perfect! It’s gourmet food that caters to a wide variety of pallets done right. If you haven’t gone yet, then go. Been hear few times already. And was never disappointed with the food, I Got the, Egg & Cheese Sandwich, comes with Two eggs with cheddar served on choice of bagel, wrap, or bread. I got it on a bagel. And i added a fruit cup to go along with it. And another good breakfast I Tryed was: Ryan’s Breakfast, Sautéed kale, onions, peppers, and mushrooms topped with 2 over easy eggs and served with a fruit cup. And with my breakfast I add a large house blend coffee. And to top it off, that everything was so good. I got a Caesar Salad to go for later that day. Romaine with parmesan, seasoned croutons, and creamy caesar dressing, and was definitely good. Still fresh! Cant wait to go back again and try something esle diffrent. It’s in a nice location. Looking forward to the summer time to beable to sit outside and enjoy a good breakfast.

Came here recently for a party and had a taco bar set up. With the grilled veggies to go with the beef and chicken, it really was a hit. The desserts were also extremely good — especially the«1-bite» chocolate cakes. Their chalkboard menu featured some really good sounding sandwiches, so I’ll have to try and come back. I’m told a lot of people come here regularly, so the food must be good! If you don’t mind mismatched utensils and plates and appreciate a small business owner trying to make it in the food industry, Be Well Café fits the bill.

This place is awesome! I haven’t had such a good latte since I was in New York at a trendy coffee shop. Their food is great too! I had a barista burrito and it was delicious. I finished off with some coconut cake(with a cream cheese frosting which I’m not the biggest fan of but was still good) and took some cupcakes(peanut butter and salted caramel) home. Just to warn, it gets very busy on a Saturday morning. I will be visiting very very soon!

This has always been a cute, homey café, and it is now much improved under new ownership. Instead of tables, it has seating areas with shabby-chic sofas and upholstered chairs. Love the orange floral sofa area(orange is the happiest color, after all). This is the best cup of Joe in HV, which truly is a culinary wasteland. Smooth, deep and without any unpleasant after-taste. The baked treats, by and large, have eye-appeal, and if your timing is quite right you will snag a just-out-of-the-oven muffin or scone. Delish. The scones, the dropped instead of the inferior formed style(e.g, Starbucks), are not too sweet. The beautiful irregular crust is golden and crumbly, and it yields to a moist and tender interior. Scone perfection. Worth a stop.
