We used AMS to move our household 4 miles across town. The moving guys themselves were great, very courteous and professional. The problem began though with their low-​ball estimate of 8 – 10 hours for the move, which turned into 16 hours. I had to argue with the business office to settle at 12. In the process, the movers damaged several items. AMS sent a leather repair guy and a woodworker to address some issues. But some items were irreparable, and as requested we submitted photos, weights and values of these items for claim follow-​up. We had signed a rider and agreed to pay $ 75 for full value coverage. Six months later, we received a letter from the AMS insurance panel — our case never went to the insurance carrier, apparently — notifying us that we had never paid the $ 75, even though we paid hundreds over the estimate and authorized them to apply $ 75 for full value, and we had never submitted weights and values for all goods moved, even though they never asked for it, just for weights and values of damaged items. What a joke. Their business practices were misleading at best, deceptive at worst. I would never recommend this moving company.

Terrible experience!!! Broke multiple pieces of furniture including a nice chair that is discontinued. Guy said they have someone who fixes that type of stuff and would personally deliver it next day (this was 3 ½ months ago) and we still have not heard from them despite 4 – 5 outbound calls I have made to them. Always get the run around and excuses. Finally get the owner Robert who is extremely rude and when I let him know I don’t play that game he changed his toon very quickly and played it off as if he thought I was a telemarketer… come on man!
Stay away from this outfit all together.

Horrible experience!!! Movers did damage to the house we were moving from and never admitted it, then ran over our mailbox at the new house. Promises, promises. That’s all you’ll get, other than the «owner will call you» line. Had to stop payment on the check for them to even call us back. Avoid this business like the plague!!!

On 11÷25÷14 Cecil and Mike made our moving day a breeze. They were on time even in the rain. There was an issue regarding the size of the truck, but both took charge and still made it happen for us. We were moving into a new construction home and nervous about damage. We worried for no reason. They were extremely careful and attentive to not damage anything.
