This place is so ghetto. We came here for a few drinks and our phone was stolen from the bar from an employee. We contact the police and they could not do anything. Besides the phone being stolen, the bar tenders are rude and service is slow. This is located in a very bad part of humble. Please do not come here

The live band was okay for a Saturday night. The bartenders are there very rude and would rather ignore their customers and flirt with other co workers. My friend asked a short blonde bartender for a drink since she was just standing there. She glares at him and walks away. We bolted out of that smokey bar and went to Brick House. Service was much better there. We won’t be returning to Shamrocks!

Definitely better places then this. I like to go on Mondays when the pool is free and there’s a dj playing some good music. The staff seems to be changing a lot lately, but they’ve been really good. I saw a couple of roaches on the bar once, but it hasn’t been a reoccurring incident. Edit– I stopped going because there were times I would ask about the free pool because the tables were locked. They usually tell me its no longer free but come unlock the tables anyways. Sometimes 3 are unlocked but one isn’t, I tell the ppl playing on that fourth table. Usually they go and tell someone but it never gets unlocked. Draft beer was $ 1.75 but that promotion has also ended. Now I take my business to bogies.

Sherlocks is no longer Sherlocks. It’s Shamrocks! Crazy I know. Always have a good time here. Live band almost every night. Wednesdays are the best with $ 1.75 tall drafts. Enjoy!

This place is shit, I just went there after flying in to Texas from NJ since its near the airport. refused to serve me because I had a NJID… lol what a terrible place and service. They should reconsider since they are near an airport to serve people from another state. I had debit, insurance social security and a city of houston health department certificate. Now that I think about it I saw them serving some food without washing hands, think its time to give the health department a call! Treat your paying customers right next time

A friend and I were in the area and were in the mood to have a drink or two in a place with a lively and fun atmosphere and younger patrons. The Unilocal app directed us here. Shamrock’s Pub is basically 2 bars in one. When we first walked in, we entered an area that was full of smoke and had a long, rectangular bar to our left, booth seating to our right and was nearly full. Neither of us smoke and we wanted to sit at the bar, so I decided to check out the adjoining space to see if we’d have better luck there. It was yet another full bar, and lots of tables and chairs in this space were available, but this portion of Shamrock’s was non-smoking. Perfect! The bartender was friendly, and the drink prices here are definitely reasonable(we had 2 mixed drinks and 2 pint drafts and the total was something like $ 16 with tax). They don’t have a food menu, but do offer bowls of buttered popcorn, and on Tuesdays they feature a steak night. If you’re staying near the airport on this side of town, this divey establishment is probably one of the more lively bars to come to through the week.

This place is a bit tough to find if you aren’t from the area. It’s tucked in the corner of a strip mall. There is a smoking and non-smoking section, which is nice. I’m a non-smoker and I almost walked out until someone told me about the other side. It’s a total dive bar. You’re not going to go there to dance or find a hot girl, just a drink with a friend or two. My buddy and I went on steak Tuesday. And they ran out at 8pm. That was very disappointing. The bartender told us that that doesn’t happen very often. Lots of camouflage wearing Texans here. We walked in and everyone was staring at us the entire time. We were definitely fish out of water. I would never go back.

Best part about this bar are the bartenders because they’re probably the best looking girls in Houston. Live band tonight is a cover band. They cover the list random old man rock songs I’ve ever heard. They ruined«born to be wild.» BUT they are very entertaining to watch because the singers dance moves are out of this world. Not a compliment. Cheap drinks. Divey.

Shamrock’s or Sherlock’s? It’s hard to tell, as this place is pretty identical to any of the well known Sherlock’s pubs around the Houston area. I visited here for the first time a few weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised. The space is large… much larger than it appears and offers a great variety of beers on tap an bottled. For the north Houston area this is a score, as most bars in the area are of the chain restaurant type. From what I’ve learned they have a $ 5 steak night on Tuesdays(which I have not partaken in) and big beer night on Wednesdays, which gets you a big beer for around $ 2.75…not bad at all! I would have to say the only downfall here is that smoking is allowed inside. I don’t particularly like it, but for $ 2.75 beer I think I can handle it.

I’m still at Shamrock’s twice a week. They have the best steak night in the Houston area on Tuesday night; $ 5 for a steak, baked potato, and salad. Wednesday is still Big Beer night, and they still have the best price. The bartenders are all very friendly, a couple of them have been there since I started going a few years ago, they really get to know their regulars. They only lost the star since the last review because some of those great bartenders who had been around for a long while either quit or were let go, and the biggest thing to me for a regular hangout is low staff turnover. Just as a side note, they do allow smoking — it’s noticeable, but it’s a large place so it’s not too terrible either.

My first trip in was just for a couple of quick drinks with my man! This place is pretty snazzy. Has one side for drinks and food and the other where you can rock out! I have a friends band that plays here every so often, so I need to come back when they make a trip! Drinks were great prices I thought, and we came late in the evening too. Bartender was doing a great job for it being so busy and the only bartender!

Been coming here for years. Great customer service and a kind of family atmosphere if you get to know the employees. Great live music, plenty of room to move about. A quiet side if you can’t handle the louder band side. Reasonable prices as well with Happy Hour going through 9PM weekly and all day on Sunday. $ 1.25 drinks after 9PM on Mondays. $ 2 drafts on Tuesday nights. $ 1.75 Big Ass Beers on Wednesdays and now the new 1−2−3 Thursdays. The staff may have changed a bit but the management is the same as it was in the days of Sherlock’s Pub. When the place got sold they kept all the employees so as not to lose the atmosphere and customer service. All in all a great place to hang out!

Came here on Friday night – Live band and people rockin’ out to «Cotton Eye Joe.» Large space and a separate area in case the music’s too loud for ya. Games: Big Buck Safari. Boxer. Golf. Pool tables. Air Hockey. What else do you need?! Owner is awesome. Bartenders are all super friendly. Texas crowd… just a damn good time(from what I remember)! ;)

Now named Shamrock’s this is the best bar in the Humble area. There is usually live music and friendly bartenders. My favorite nights are Wed for big-ass beer night at $ 1.75 and a good crowd and Tue for karaōke. The down side is the smoke and Fri and Sat are always too crowded.

Had a few drinks with a friend here last night and where our first bartender was friendly and responsive and fun, the next shift was the exact opposite.(If you hate your job, why not look for a different one, or grin and bear it until you can quit?). It got to the point where we couldn’t get served by either the bartender or the waitress — both copped attitudes towards my buddy and even myself when I tried ordering in his place. Kudos for the manager for listening and(unnecessarily) comping us a round. The service picked up after that, but the attitude was still detectable. Otherwise, I like the pub feel in general and the big patent leather sofas in front and the fact that they separated the loud music area from the sit around and talk area with doors. Having a decent cigar shop right next door is helpful as well. I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here, though. I’ve heard others tell me of poor experiences here. Bummer — that just shouldn’t be the case in a local pub.
