Great atmosphere, great staff, excellent beer selection plus cakes and pizza. Why are you not here! Great place to lounge on the couches(because chances are you didn’t get here in time to get a chair at the bar) and watch sports while sipping your poison be it coffee, wine, or beer.

They’ve added to their menu some! The TX beers change often and they have a new variety of wines. Look for the crawfish on Sunday’s too!

Great place! Literally the nicest spot to take a date in the area. Great décor, feel, ambiance. Local owned. Heather will take of you. Honestly this place feels more like midtown than Humble.

When i saw a non-Starbucks coffee place on Unilocal for the fall creek area, my heart delighted at first… with the thought of having a decent place to come to when visiting this area. I hate to leave such a review with such poor ratings. It’s hidden in a shopping strip with no proper advertisement or lighting on the outside, except for the open sign and store name. It has a nice interior and clean restrooms. My friend got the horchata blended drink, which she enjoyed. I got the dirty chai latte — it was awful!!! It was bitter and not enjoyable. Even my fried tried sips of it and made a face. When i asked if i could sweeten it due to my disliking, i was suggested by the staff to add more sugar. No matter how many sugar packets I tried to add, it was not getting any better. I really felt like I wasted my $ 5 something on a very small drink. I don’t know how this place is at other hours, but when we went around 1pm, it was empty and had a display case of 2 measly baked items that were overpriced and not appealing.

So this place is fairly new in the Fall Creek area. I found it with GPS. It’s a Tuesday morning everyone busy, place was pretty empty. The iced coffee and double espresso we ordered were good, as well as the chicken basil pesto paninis. Music was coffeshop vibe, nice and upbeat. Miami vice on tv. Went with mom who was not in a good mood, but her tone changed after sitting on the couch and enjoying the view. Appeared to have good wine selection, but had to view menu off an iPad. Has WiFi but need the code. Couple places to plug-in. Price comparable to Starbucks but location/size/décor much nicer. I would go back for afternoon’s menu selection.

Very welcome addition to the area. I head there for a cup coffee for study fuel!

I truly enjoyed Michael’s Coffee & Wine. Just rode up on it & decided to try. The atmosphere was a laid back feel. The Moscato was very good. The staff always made sure our table was taken care of. Will be back soon.

This is a favorite place of mine and my co-workers. There aren’t many options in the Humble/Fall Creek area. The good: The stuffed mushroom appetizer. The chicken Alfredo pizza is good. The wait staff is friendly and offers great wine choices. The ambience is very chill. The bad: A bit pricey.

I haven’t had food or wine here, just coffee. It’s probably hoppin’ in the evenings, but I have been here during the day, and it’s calm and quiet. A few people people clicking away on their laptops and drinking wine. They make a good cappuccino, but they don’t have soy milk. It’s a nice place to get a relaxing coffee(Or wine, if wine in the afternoon is your thing.) The service is a bit indifferent though.

I want to like this place but they make it really hard. When I’ve gone in the morning for coffee, it’s empty. Iced coffee is on the menu, but it’s delivered as espresso shots with water over ice. The pastry case is always empty. In the evenings, the smell of cigar smoke from the cigar bar on the other side is overpowering and I have had to leave before ordering. I like the alcoholic drink selection and that they use local Amaya beans, but the inconsistency can make Michael’s a frustrating trip.

Talk about overpriced. Don’t try their beers without asking the price, trust me on that. Or you’ll see a $ 10 per beer on your tab. Yes, $ 10 a beer.

Had drinks with our Fall Creek friends here last night. Shared a pizza with my husband and it was great! My husband is a bit of a beer snob and wasn’t all that impressed with their draft beer choices but found something he liked in a can. All in all, a fun night and so great to be close to home.

The good: food was good. Wife had the chicken pesto panini and I had the molti meat pizza. The crust on the pizza was nice and crisp and it had a good flavor to it. The panini had nice crunchy bread and a superb flavor. The bad: wait times. Every review I read here suggested that wait times might be longer than normal. They were right. The wait was just a bit too long(45 minutes) for the food considering there were only 6 other people in the place and only one other couple eating. In conclusion, there is a ton of potential here and I’m interested to see the place on a Friday night. We desperately need stuff like this place in this area of town but unfortunately they have failed to capitalize on their potential. I will be going back and hope to update my review with more stars.

Just stopped in this Saturday morning for just coffee. I hate how all the store fronts have a dark film covering all their windows, because you have no idea what you are stepping into. The coffee shop was completely empty. I ordered their seasonal drip coffee and it was very good. The place has a hip industrial look to it. I hope the coffee/wine bar does well.

Horrible service. One other table was occupied in the restaurant and we still waited over an hour for a pizza! I complained to the waitress the one time she came to check on us and she was so indifferent and could care less. The atmosphere is very cool and I want this business to stay in fall creek, but some major improvements need to be made.

So nice we stopped in twice! My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find Michael’s to be a great family-owned coffee/wine/beer operation in the Fall Creek subdivision(right off Wilson and Beltway 8). A place like this was definitely needed. We stopped in this morning to check out the new coffee establishment in the area and met a couple of the owner/employees, Heather and Erica. The coffee was served not only hot, flavorful and delicious, but with some good conversation. Needless to say we definitely found our new local coffee spot. In fact we were so curious by the beer options in the AM that we returned in the PM to have a taste. It’s a great spot for drinks and we will definitely be back. The shop has been open only one week and I’m eager to see how it continues to settle into its own identity. Right now the food menu is limited, and the beers are strictly Texas-local, but Michael’s has a wall of diverse wines and a fridge full of Texas bottled beer. Overall I was pleasantly surprised to find poured-over and brewed Houston-roasted coffee for the morning hours and a chill locale to enjoy a flight of Texas-centric draft beers in one place! Hooray for local brews both coffee and beer in NE Houston!

I will start with the good. The atmosphere is cozy. The Cab Sauvignon(can’t remember the exact label) I ordered was delicious. I had a Mocha, in which the chocolate used was not overly sweet, and I enjoyed it. My boyfriend ordered the French Press, and we both loved it. Friendly staff, all of whom were eager to make you feel comfortable and right their wrongs(see below section). Improvements: When I think of a coffee and wine bar, I expect to walk in to a slightly classier establishment(emphasis on slightly. I’m not asking for cocktail dresses and chandeliers, mind you). However, I was met with football on tv and servers in rather casual clothing. It felt like any other bar, just better lit. This is not to say this is particularly bad. Just not what I expected. When my boyfriend and I got there, we were not sure where to order. There is a register at the entrance, and another(less noticeable) one at the bar. We stood near the bar(before we noticed the register) and the tenders paid no attention to us, just kept going in conversation with each other or other customers. So we then stood at the register at the entrance for a few minutes, and no one came to help us. We saw the line at the bar, waited in line for longer than we would have liked, then directed ourselves back to the entrance register when another couple was helped there quicker than we were at the bar. The server was very friendly, and said he would bring our drinks to us. 10 minutes later, no drinks. Went to the bar to order food and wine and mentioned that we hadn’t gotten our coffee yet, so we got them for free(that aside, the coffee drinks are a little pricey). Before we left, my boyfriend decided to buy a bag of beans since he liked the French Press so much. The servers couldn’t figure out how to ring up the bags, so they ended up giving it to us free as well. Overall, I would go back again, maybe on a monthly basis. They are new and have a few kinks to work out, but have no doubt they will have success if the work on them.
