Me: «I’d like to rent a steam cleaner.» Karla(Cust Service): «Um, they’re carpet cleaners… not steam cleaners.» That was the beginning of my interaction today. For the most part, I don’t need help so I don’t necessarily welcome the constant barrage of «are you looking for anything in particular» but this lowes truly embraces the mentality of letting the customers fend for themselves. The very few interactions I’ve had with employees have been mixed at best. Angel has been great while people like Karla have been terrible. Most of these people definitely come off like they’ve been working retail WAY too long. They don’t mean to be douche-y but they just are. If you want great customer service, don’t come here. If you need home improvement supplies and tools then you’ve found the right place. Enjoy.

The service is terrible. I have been looking for something specific and need help and there is never anyone around. I have pushed the help button multiple times and no one has yet to show up. Customer service here is not good. I wish Home Depot was closer to me and not 30 minutes away because I would definitely use them at this point.

I don’t know which is better, friendly and clueless or unfriendly and knowledgable. Lowe’s is the former. There are a couple staff that seem to know what they’re talking about but they are far and few between.

We just had our cabinets installed. David did a marvelous, marvelous job. I just can’t say enough about him. The work crew they sent was excellent. I could not be more positive about the whole experience. That being said, make an appointment if you are serious about getting cabinetry installed. The weekends are busy and it can get frustratingly hectic. Weekdays are much better times to have consultations.

Customer Service here is always horrible!!! They are always under-staffed! The return line is usually long… and good luck finding a department specialist to help you find things. We recently moved to the area and we’re doing a bunch of small projects throughout the house. I have visited this store at least once a day for the last two weeks(most days I’m there twice) it’s unbelievable how bad the service here is. I can’t stand having no other options but the only Home Depot I’ve found is in Humble. The horror stories I’ve experienced are mainly in the tile/backsplash department –no one’s ever there and when someone is there he usually isn’t interested in working!!! The same is true for the hardware department– you’re on your own here too. The return desk takes the cake though. Many of the employees here could care less about you actually being serviced as a customer. The paint desk can be a real gamble as well. I have found one girl there who I actually look for if I’m getting paint because the other two regular paint employees have both shown me that they have permanent attitudes that are not unique to just me. I went in recently to color match a can of ALMOST empty paint and the employee(older white woman) looked right at the can and snapped«That’s not our brand… it’s Home Depot«I asked can’t she color match it? She replied with more attitude«There’s not enough to match» but she hadn’t even removed the lid!!! I removed the lid to show 2 inches of paint at the bottom of the can and she agreed there was indeed enough. Then she look the can, made me a new gallon that indeed DIDNOT match when I got home. Another moody paint guy also made me two cans of paint from swatches I picked at their store and I immediately noticed the colors were both waaaay off– I brought this to his attention and he said he must have forgot to add the black. Smh. An occasional slip up wouldn’t be major but this happens ALLTHETIME. This location is fine for an occasional item pick up but if you are doing a whole project Just go somewhere else for sanity purposes!!!

It’s a nice store but staff isn’t the best. Meaning, they were hard to find on a slow weekday morning. I returned twice hoping to find what I was looking for restocked and it wasn’t. I think it’s a nice and clean store and will probably be back.

It’s Lowes. You know what you’re getting. This particular location has a few quirks though. If you want LED lightbulbs, I hope you like a dim house because just about every variety they stock is of the«warm» variety. They have lots of ceiling fans on the ceiling, but not-so-much of ones they keep in stock. Out of the 4 we looked at, all 4 had to be ordered… The paint department is excellent however. Very patient matching paint samples and kept at it until they got it right.

I am shocked and dismayed that I have not reviewed Lowe’s yet. This is our neighborhood location and I like it a lot. This store is clean and well organized. It never has that«sacked by the horde» look that some other home improvement locations can get. We have purchased major appliances and everyday stuff from here and have been happy with the sales and service we get from this location. Every once in a while, we find some great scratch and dent items in their clearance area. The plants are OK, I do think they could treat them better so I will say that if the plant has been there for a while, it may not be so healthy. Overall, I really like this location and tell my local compatriots about it when they’re working on a home improvement project.

Seems they can’t get anything straight or explain to customers what to expect. We have already paid to have Lowe’s lay tile in our bath BUT I am very nervous as there have been errors each step of the way. I do not trust that they know why they are doing. The sales people are very nice but once the sale is made and paid for –Watch out!

Last night I went in to complete my estimate for replacing a door in my house. They were short handed and I did have to wait a couple of minutes, but once I pressed the«Need Help» button I got my assistance. Patrick, is the nice man who helped me with everything. Once he located my paperwork, which was MIA for about 5 minutes, he got started on helping me get it all figured out. I learned more about doors than I thought I would need to know but it was very helpful and important. Next we went through all the options but in the end I was going for price not looks! While going through my order, I had mentioned the $ 15 charge for hauling away my old door. Patrick told me that it should be included and we found the Lowe’s installation guarantee that included it. He was upset that the installer who came to my home was trying to swindle me! He contacted a supervisor and brought it right to their attention! For being a single girl and not being too handy, this was a great experience and I will continue to be a Lowe’s customer! Thanks Patrick again!
