La Quinta Inn & Suites Atascocita-Humble

They were very friendly and they don’t have a pet fee. The hotel is very new so we were surprised that the linens were so rough and pilled. The linens is definitely what took them down some stars and I really don’t know if I would stay here again only because of the rough sheets!
Otherwise, the free breakfast was standard and they did have scrambled eggs along with they typical other free breakfast fare.

Perhaps I am used to staying at higher end hotels, because this was disappointing for me. It may be fine for a quick stay (for some) but it wasn’t my cup of tea. Namely for the following reasons:
1. The sheets and comforter were hard.
2. For a new-​ish hotel there were large stains on the carpet.
3. I’m not a dog person so seeing several LARGE dogs come through the lobby had me questioning whether I may have been sleeping on a bed that a 60 pound dog slept in the night before… gross!
4. Breakfast does not include meat of any kind.
5. Many of the housekeepers don’t speak ANY English (thank God for my handful of Spanish courses).
6. The TV is not HD. 480 dpi to be exact.
As for the positives:
1. The front desk staff was helpful and polite.
2. There was breakfast (pretty good waffles)
3. If you speak Spanish, you’ll find the housekeepers are incredibly sweet, thorough and a pleasure to meet! (Hola, Joceline!)
4. There’s a nice fitness room and pool.
5. Low cost lodging

This is a great new hotel. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and very spacious. Hotel is close to everything, restaurants, shops, grocery stores.
