Went here this morning for the first time right as they opened. Man working had no greeting for me that I can recall. I asked him how much for color change and he told me to pick out a color. I said does color dictate the price? He said yes. I had my nails painted and I asked to pay before I ever found out how much he was going to charge. No one said a word to me the entire time I was there. Polish job is satisfactory but if you’re looking for friendly service, this ain’t your place.

I’ve never had a problem. If you look, all of the reviews are 1 – 3 years old. Price is about average.

Zero stars. Tried to force additional service on me. Asked. I said no he was doing it anyway. Then they chared me for both services regardless. When I asked for a price list they conveniently did not have one. The polish on my nails was not the Polish I requested. Polish was all over my fingers and it peeled off in two days. Waste of money.

Horrible. I should have read the reviews before wasting my time. My Shellac peeled off within 3 days. During my eyebrow wax the technician decided to wax my lip without permission. Pissed me off. Never again will I go there.

Update 3 – 4 days later. Shellac was not applied properly. I did not pick at it. Entire nail polish came off in one pull. No residue and no chips. It came off like a sheet of paper. See photo.

Based on my previous visit, I already knew this place would be more expensive than trying out a new locale. However, I really fell in love with the pink and white overlay that the lady gave me on my second visit, so I was willing to spend the money-IF they had respected me as a customer. The place was not busy at all when I went. Two customers after lunch time, so I anticipated that it would not be a big wait time. However, I wasn’t told how long the wait would be. Since I wasn’t in a hurry, I let it slide. I did notice, however that the lady started working pretty hard trying to get the lady’s manicure done when she directed me to sit down at a station. Cool, but ummm I need to choose my polish??? Since they quoted me a ridiculous price for the pink and white refill, I was going to settle for the shellac, but again, where are the samples at? Where they seated me had a palette of tips that may have been shellac, but one could only guess. After about five minutes, I looked around and saw the palette of shellac samples. To see if my patronage was desired, I asked them if they had shellac samples for me to look at. They said yes and kept working on their other patrons. Now you know my eyebrow was raised by now, so I decided to ask another question, «Can I go behind the station and get the palettes?» Oh yeah sure. They didn’t extend the courtesy to get the palettes for me at all. They went back to work pampering their two customers. I was clearly dismissed people and they were not the least but concerned for me to patronize their VERY vacant shop for some reason. Maybe they made all the money they needed for the month. I do hope so because I decided I’d go somewhere else and spend my money. Getting what you pay for is one thing, but getting ignored and spending boutique prices for wishy washy service is NOT in style. Nail Trix needs to get their act together QUICK – and after service like this, you can guarantee this will be the last review I give them because I will never visit again – PERIOD!!!

Nail Trix gets my business mostly because of the coupons they send out in the mail. I’m not a mani/pedi regular, but the coupon gives me a reason to treat myself. You can make an appointment, but I’ve never had to wait too long for a chair. Seems pretty clean and the people are nice. The only thing that bothers me is that they always try to sell you a more expensive package(express pedi vs. deluxe pedi) and you have to tell them multiple times that No, I just want the express this time. And then they try to sell you a manicure… again no, I just want an express pedi people! Pedicures last a good amount of time with no chipping. There are quite a few nail places in this area, so if not for the coupons I would try elsewhere.
