I’ve never been so pissed off in my life. They are nowhere near the address posted on here and no one in the area has ever heard of them.

Definitely as good as it gets when it comes to food trucks here in Houston. The flavors were developed in the creole balls to perfection. I tried the catfish, red beans and rice and shrimp. Everything was super tasty. The food took me straight to Louisiana! I don’t usually eat hush puppies but they were the best I ever had. Try them out whenever you get the chance :)

This food truck has found a loyal fan in me! The food is flavored well, the owners are very welcoming and the prices are great! I had the creole balls, fried fish and shrimp. I’d give every dish I tried 5 stars. You can tell when owners really care about the quality of their food and I could tell they really do. If you try this food truck you won’t regret it!

With people this welcoming and nice, their food does not have to be this good. but it Is! I found them parked at the Firestone Store right across the road from the center with the Gold’s Gym, at Beltway 8 near Wilson Road. The catfish and shrimp basket I ordered was freshly cooked, and still to hot to eat, when I arrived home 10 minutes later. There was a large piece of crispy catfish and 3 large shrimp; no tail on the shrimp, so you could eat and enjoy every bit of it. Their food is perfectly seasoned, and not salty or greasy. Lots of fresh french fries, with a light sprinkling of seasoning, and a hush puppy later, I was very full, and look forward to going back soon for their red beans and rice, poboys and carrot cake. The menu is small, but they concentrate on making each dish delicious, and there is something for everyone who loves good food. Go and enjoy KS, soon!

Kreole Soul was at our apartment complex this week and it was great! My wife and I split their fish basket and the food was super tasty! Service was fast and friendly, we get a lot of food trucks here and I have to say to have a hot meal, it was some of the fastest service we’ve had. I’m not sure what they put in the corn meal, but the fish was super fresh and had a nice slightly sweet cornmeal crust on it. It was not greasy or heavy. Their fries were also pretty tasty – right down the middle of rustic and simple – with a nice bit of crisp on the outside with some solid potato goodness on the inside.
I didn’t get to try the hushpuppies – the wife didn’t share! I didn’t hear any complaints so I’m guessing it was pretty tasty. In Houston we’re blessed with so many amazing food trucks, I’d add this one to the list of must try!
