Heavenly Nails

I’ve been going to this place since it opened up but last time I went I got completely screwed over.
It wasn’t the usual staff I see when I go there since it was pretty late in the afternoon. My mom and I had went for full sets and they wanted to charge us $ 50 each when it’s usually $ 22-​$ 30.
Hell no. They probably thought I was someone new.
I walked out completely upset. They lost a loyal customer.

I was gonna get a regular nail polish as usual but the lady assisted me said they have «Shellac nail». I don’t like gel but I wanted to try Shellac so I had that.
I’d been watching the process… mmm she applied nail tips first and powder (looks like gel powder) maybe I misunderstood about shellac.
My nail look nicer but I don’t like gel and drills. I told her «I don’t like gel»
I researched about Shellac again after I got home.
I was right! Shellac is apply like a regular polish and then use the UV light.
It’s easier to remove than gel.
This place learned wrong or they know but they do wrong or they didn’t know.
Or most places like this?! I have no idea.
Anyway I said I don’t like gel but I got gel and paid $ 45.
I have to look for a great place again.
Where is the best place in Houston/​Humble?
There are many salons but so dirty every where.
I’m looking for a clean place, use clean/​sanitized tools and don’t use drills.
I’m fine to pay more.
I wanna protect my skin and nails.
Please stop using unsanitized tools!
If you didn’t care about their tools and you like gel, this place is good for you.

Very nasty attitudes, the wait was horrible, communication. Problems and then they did a rush job. Never again.

I tried a new powder they suggested, I had always had a good experience before so I trusted them when they said it was better. Let’s just say that it is better for them and not great on my wallet. The powder is great in theory but my nails were lifting after just a few days, I went in twice for repairs in just ONE Week. Then again a few days later for a refill. Within in 4 days I had lost 2 (painfully) and had 3 others lifting. I have been getting nails since 1995 and never have a had such poor quality product on my nails. When I complained they told me to come back hours later so they could fix it… seriously? After I have spent over $ 200 in your place of business in the last 3 weeks I need to come back later that day so you can fix (for the 4^th time I might add) the poor job that was performed on my nails and for more money out of my pocket? I will never return!

They always do a great job. I always get shellac and am always pleased with their service.

So I came in at 9 am on Saturday morning to get my nails done. I wanted stiletto nails but I ended up with square round due to communication errors but I was in a hurry so I let it go and the guy who did my nails wasn’t the same one I had talked to but perhaps he was a little asleep since I was his first customer. I know I was. Now I regret not getting the already stiletto shaped tips they have. They also ask for pics if you want to duplicate a design. Overall I loved my pedicure. I actually got Molly. She’s amazing with a good personality. She also did my eye brows. They get customers real quick and she said they weren’t busy since it’s tax free weekend so you can imagine what goes on during normal weekends.

This is my second time here, the first time was ok, second time not so good. Pedicure was $ 22 for maybe 20 minutes.
They were so fast and didn’t do a good job. Started the bottom of our feet and never finished.
It’s sad because there no customer service whatsoever. We tried telling them to fix it they got back walked away and told me to get out of the chair because the next customer was here :(not very nice

$ 20 pedicures! Decent service. No wait on a Sunday afternoon.

$ 22 for a pedi, walked in on Sun afternoon and got in right away. Pretty clean, semi friendly so can’t complain.

Susan is awesome! very conveniant for me, (i walk to it from my house!) clean and nice people. Check them out!

This place is so popular that it’s so hard to get in especially on the weekends. My biggest suggestion is don’t go on the weekends or else your wait will be hours! =(Luckily the owner kept checking on me. I guess its a good problem to have.

Molly is one of the best for Pedi. Shawn is my fav nail tech. I’m sure all the others are good. These are the two I personally prefer. Ooooo’an Ms. Tina. She’s does a great job too. If you’re in the Humble area, stop by and give them a try. I need to go now because I’m about to commit adultery with this spa chair.

I tried this place per someone in my apartment complex. The place is a little ways down 1960, not a super fancy shop but everyone was nice. Anthony and his mom were great. He put on Shellac well. I have had a hard time finding a place to do a great job and Anthony did great. I will return.

Thank you fellow Unilocalers for rating this place! I was in a SERIOUS NEED of declawing (refill and cut down) on my nails. I don’t go to just any nail shop, but I was pretty desperate, so Unilocal to the rescue!
I was in Humble and changed my filters to find the best rated place near my destination. This place was the closest and was actually on my way home, so I decided to find it. When I pulled up and went in, I discovered a bustling room of feet soakers and cuticle pushers taking care of a multitude of customers, but I was still greeted upon entry and asked what I needed. They assured me that I would be served momentarily (which actually happened 15 minutes later, but the service and the price were very reasonable, exceptional and worth the wait.
I asked about the price of a refill and gel polish, which cost me $ 30, the same price I would have paid at my usual standby, so that was reassuring. What really boggled my mind was all the different types of gel polish they offered. It’s like polish paradise lol Seriously, they have a lot of polish. They have something you will like. I chose a glittery gold metallic polish that looks so fierce I wish I had the time to get a pedicure that day too! Before the polish was applied, I had another technician who filed my nails down (without charge) and made sure all my nails were smooth and refilled properly. I kind of like that because I’ve had people who could file and refill great, but their polishing skills were mediocre or vice versa. The only thing I would watch out for is the technician trying to get extra money for designs. Based on the design catalog they had looping on their digital picture frame and the décor of the shop, they specialize in eclectic nail art. I’m a pretty conservative woman, so no designs for me anytime soon. But I am definetly looking gforweard to coming back soon formore services!

Let me kick this off by saying that this is the nail shop that I have been down with since Day 1!!! I did go to other nail shops & reviewed them… with high ratings, but I’ll always come back to Heavenly Nails!!!
Only reason I strayed is bc my Main Man Shawn… The Nail King… took a short leave…& on to the review!!!
If it was possible to give more than 5 Stars, I most def would!!! So we’ll just call this 5+!!!
Heavenly Nails is located on FM 1960, right next to the «late hour» Post Office in Humble. (Between Foxwood subdivision & Lee Rd comin from 45). Heavenly Nails def lives up to its name!!! As Shawn says… they do everything short of weave! Lol! Nails, (ALL types) waxing, (ALL types) eyelash extensions, etc.
There are times that Heavenly Nails gets packed, but no worries… there are several nail techs along with several nail & pedicure stations.
If you’re into different colored powders or different designed tips… THIS IS THE SPOT!!! I was addicted to the Coach tips & wore them for 2yrs straight! If I had to guess, I would say there’s at least 200 designs to choose from. We’re talkin Stripes, Solids, Playboy Bunny, Polka Dot, Tons of Animal Prints, & so so much more! They also have your Coach, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, & many more Brand Name Logos in several styles & colors!!!
So whether you want to be Sassy, Classy, or Hood with it… Heavenly Nails has ya back!!!
Shawn is MY man! Lol… at least when it comes to my nails… ;) But I have had the pleasure of having my nails done by other techs there before, ex. his sister, mother, & 1 or 2 others, & I’m happy to say that I’ve enjoyed everyone BUT Shawn will always be my go to guy!!!
Heavenly Nails has great prices… those of you who know me know I like em LONG & THICK… Man that didn’t sound good… Still speaking on my nails here… so I tend to pay a bit more, but for the job Shawn does… it’s well worth it. So expect to pay the normal salon prices, unless ur nails are just frighteningly long like mine!!! O_​o lol.
Now that I see my Shawn is back in the shop… I shall not stray ever again. If you find yourself on FM 1960 between 45 & 59, shoot on over to Heavenly Nails for a Heavenly Nail experience!!!
