Most servers here generally have been somewhat unfriendly for some reason and they always claim to run out of waffle cone mix after 8pm daily. Now that I know they can make more(from the 1960& Veterans Memorial location which has great customer service), I now know that the people at this one are just plain lazy. I choose Kingwood over this location for that sole reason alone. Great location but they definitely need to get it together before I return.

My yearly visit to Baskins Robbins involves me cashing in my free birthday scoop. However, so many flavors to choose from! Deciding on what to get can be a chore. When I entered the store, the crew members were working on some sort of project, but that didn’t stop them from acknowledging me. I immediately looked over the various flavors offered and pondered my decisions based on the explicit details on the labels which also indicate the ingredients. These days, food allergies are very prevalent and I do have plenty, so I am grateful that BR showcases this information and makes the consumer aware of what they’e eating before they purchase. After about three minutes, one of the crew members walked over and asked if I was ready to order and offered to let me taste anything before I buy. That’s all I needed to hear. I tasted about three flavors. I was trying to get something other than my old stand by the gold medal ribbon, but I really wanted more chocolate than vanilla ice cream this day, so I ended up getting the same olé thing again, but it was so cold and delicious! I handed the cashier my coupon, which was honored and I walked out with a truly free ice cream birthday treat. Even if I didn’t pay a penny this time, the customer service and friendliness of the store would make anyone come back and pay big bucks for this ice cream in the near future.

Craved cookies and cream! Had a two scoop waffle cone and I was in heaven. My little one enjoyed benefiting from my craving. LOL. There was small group of people sitting at a table in this small place, discussing little league football and one guy used every profane word he could think of… twice! I just stared at the brotha and hoped he’d jump my way. Uggh! I would have chucked him out if I was the owner. We would have gone outside, but the chairs and tables hadn’t been set up, yet.

Looking for an ice cream birthday cake, and stopped in this BR location. The gentleman that helped me was really great; I had no idea what flavor or type cake I needed, and he was really patient and helpful! I was offered the ability to taste the ice cream to choose the ice cream filling, and changed my mind about the cake about 3 times, but this man remained kind and didn’t rush me. The cake was ready on time, two days later. A very sweet young lady got the cake for me, and showed it to me, to make sure it was done right. The cake was just as I’d ordered, and they’d even gotten some special details correct. perfect! We all enjoyed the cake, and I’ll definitely be back, when we need a cake, ice cream pie. or just a cone.

After our fulfilling dinner at Skeeter’s my child wanted some dessert! So she chose Baskin Robbins for their Jamocha ice cream, the 2nd time in one week for her! Right after we got in the store, a boys baseball team came bustling in… I thought it would take forever because they kind of just were all over the place. But luckily the Baskin Robbins crew served us quickly. I chose the Jamocha Almond Fudge, good but not what I was craving I suppose. It is cheaper to buy your own at the store and make your own cones, but it sure is good when other people make it for you!
