THEWORSE rent-a-car place EVER!!! It was a LIVINGNIGHTMARE!!! First, it took 3HOURS for their shuttle bus to come pick us up. ***BEAWARE that the location is not at IAH central rent-a-car service center where all the other major big companies are at. ***BEAWARE that you have to call the Ace 800 number upon landing to request for airport pick-up. ***BEAWARE that once you dial the 800 number, you will go through a maze of rerouting, wait for another 20+ minutes to get through to a live person, and then finally be able to request for your airport pick-up. ***BEAWARE that you be instructed to take the main shuttle bus that takes you to the rental service center. And when you get there you’re to call the 800# again to request for pick-up. ***BEAWARE there is no clear sign or directions to find the exact location to where the shuttle bus will pick you up. So we had to ask around. ***BEAWARE you will have to walk through the massive rental parking garage to get to the Visitors Parking Lot where the pick-up will be. We waited for 3+ hours before a van showed up. And meanwhile we had to go through the 800 number multiple times asking where and when will pick-up service show up. By the time we arrived at a HELL-HOLE getto location, we find out they don’t have the guaranteed SUV we reserved and pre-paid for, and was offered an industrial van. ***BEAWARE they did everything manual via handwritten paper, there was no electronic online system and they operated at an uncaring unconscionable slow pace, and they were awfully rude and unprofessional. We ended up walking out, canceled the rental, called Über to come pick us up & take us back to the central car rental service center. — We booked and rented our beautiful rental from Enterprise. After Enterprise heard about our nightmare, they were kind enough to upgrade us. DONOT fall victim for the lure of a lower price and end up with this NIGHTMARE! DONOT rent from this company. If there was a negative star, I’d pay money to rate them this NEGATIVELY.

Rented a minivan two weeks before thanksgiving. Called 3 days prior to make sure they had my reservation and to confirm the make of minivan. When I arrived on the day of my reservation, they stated they did not have any minivans available. I said I had a reservation and they even confirmed it, but stated that a reservation does not guarantee a vehicle. Needless to say I left there pissed off and without my vacation vehicle. They just don’t give a S***. Do yourself a favor and just go to the big name rental agencies like Avis, Hertz, Enterprise and so on, as they will more than likely try their best to fulfill your rental requirements. I wouldn’t call Ace Car rental if they had the only vehicle left on the planet. They just plain Suck!
