For the price, it’s not bad. The grounds are very nice, the staff was friendly, the cabins were clean and tidy and cozy. However, the bed was awful. If you come to stay here, you might want to grab some sort of mattress pad. Ours was lumpy and hard, and that’s coming from someone who prefers a firm mattress. All in all, it is a nice place for noncampers.

Really a great get away, with rooms and cabins. They are dog friendly, which as you know can make things difficult when planning a vacation. Lots to do, hiking, biking, swimming, etc. dogs are promoted in the cabins only, which is the best. You will find half that have kitchenettes. Really a large place for a great value in Oklahoma. I would dig gently recommend this place

So, let me start off by saying I’m not much of what you would call a camper. lol I recently got talked into visiting Western hills guest ranch thinking. camping. cabins. bugs. outdoors eww. This turned out to be a good experience. We went with a group of 10. We all booked different types of camping. I personally went for the 2 person cabin. Which is not bad at all. It was nice, clean, priced reasonably, looked recently remodeled, came with a kitchenette(fridge included), microwave, tv, cable, no wifi but nice air conditioning! Now the only real downside I noticed pretty much right off the bat. the walls are thin. very thin. you can hear them think about breathing in the room next to you! lol Now we had another part of the group who got the 4 – 6 person cabin. After seeing theirs, I know next time i will be getting the 4 – 6 cabin. The place was nice and big, had a sitting area, kitchen table and a large fridge plus all the above mention things. Sure its more, but that’s the only way to camp for me! Now the last part of our group rented areas in the RV section. We have gone and visited them many times on their RV trips. This has to be one of the nicer locations that I have seen. sewage, electric, a grill and there is a concrete area. The area was well maintained and had host on location. There is several locations on the resort for RV’s, tents and cabins. They are broken down into Indian tribe names. The western hills guest ranch was very large compared to what little information I could find on line about it. I could almost find none other than reservation site. On locations there is also a lodge area/hotel. They are all reasonably priced. I would spring for the extra few bucks for a cabin though. There is a pool and restaurant located over in the lodge area. Along with, I believe, a tennis court and playground area. I’m sure there is more but I didn’t get a chance to see everything. I was told there was a private beach located also on the resort. The other things available at the resort were, a marina where you can get boat rentals, ski rentals, horseback riding, hicking, a nature center, etc and so on the list of out door options were endless, I believe there was also a golf course. So, to sum it all up… there is every kind of camping from mine to the great out doors located here. I would highly suggest this location and will be returning.
