Fiesta Cancun Grill & Bar

So we have been 4 times now since my last review.
Always good service and great food.
This trip however our server was terrible. Ordered peach Margarita got regular and it was suppose to be blended and it was all melted so basically just a drink all the frozen drinks were melted.
Ordered qasadia dip got guacamole, wide ordered burrito was supposed to be pork got beef, all our empty glass left until there was no room for the dinner to go down then I got a dirty look because he had no place to set food.
Now that being said the food may have had some ordering problems and waiter issue’s but it was still very good.

Great food. Slow service. We went at 4pm with small children and it took an hour and 10 minutes. There were only 2 tables occupied in the whole place. The kids were hungry and really having a hard time holding it together. We ordered drinks right away, but waited 10 minutes to get them and chips, another 10 to order. Food came quickly after order, but it took 25 minutes for a waiter to come back to check on us. .then they brought the bill and stayed away for another 10. Even though we were ready to order, to pay, etc., they would say «I’ll be right back…» and make us wait for an eternity. So frustrating.

Food and drinks are fantastic. Service was great. My only issue was with management who wanted to quibble over their $ 8 discount when using the dining card. My party bought 3 drinks and 4 entrees, but the waiter put us on separate checks, so we couldn’t get the discount. Really? I know many other excellent Mexican restaurants who won’t do that.

I hesitated to write this review because this is a hidden little gem. We werent quite sure what to expect when you drive up and see the restaurant is attached to the gas station. Don’t let that stop you. My first recommendation is to preview the menu on-​line before you go. The menu is fairly large! We started with a couple margaritas (blended), a raspberry and a mango. The Medium size is pretty big. The margaritas were good. Chips and salsa (we LOVED that everyone got their own little bowl for salsa), guacamole, and queso dip. A large (guac and queso) served 4 of us, with leftovers. Good basic guac (they have varieties!). The entrees. Let me tell you about the entrees. One person has some food allergies. She had the Enchiladas Verde, the plate was large and covered with food! She said they were really good. Chicken was prepared nicely, not overcooked, dry, or rubbery, and it was flavorful. Another person had steak fajita… for 2. The skillet was huge. He said the meat was very good. My husband had the Molcajete Mexicano, I had the Fiesta Molcajete. These dishes come to the table in huge lava stone bowl. The Mexicano is a variety of meats with onions, nopales, squash, etc. The best part was definitely the pork. So flavorful, cooked to perfection. The Fiesta is chicken and steak with the same vegetables. Both were topped with chihuahua cheese. I swear I did eat! The amount of food in these Molcajete’s is staggering. I have lunch for tomorrow, and maybe dinner too! The food portions here were pretty epic and its a nice change that the food quality equalled the portion size. The waitstaff was very attentive. Our waitress answered all our questions without missing a beat. Give this place a try. Good food, good portions for decent prices.

The last two times they have got the take out wrong.
We have been going to them since they open and there quality is starting to go down

Very pleased. We usually order one of the molcajetes as we get lots to take home. This time we started with an appetizer, shrimp stuffed with cheese and jalpeño wrapped in bacon on a bed of grilled onions. Wow!!! We also tried the top shelf guacamole made table side, another hit.
It had 5 avacados in it. We ended up bringing half home as it was just too much food. We always have the Texas margaritas, among the best we’ve tasted.
Our server Mark did a great job and was very attentive. We also learned that they will be opening a new location very near our house in Lino Lakes, very good news for us.

Good food. Good service. Too loud. If the manager tags this, it’s an easy fix:

Very good. Reasonable prices, broad menu options, good enough beer options. 32 oz. beer for $ 6.00. Good food. I will come here again.

This is currently my local go to Mexican restaurant. I really like fajitas here. Very large helpings with all the fixins. Also I like the three enchilada plate… excellent variety.
The queso is quite good with the chips. Also the complimentary salsa is pretty good.
The service is good and quite fast. All the waiters I’ve had been friendly and efficient.

Great service and delicious food! Been here several times for both dine-​in and takeout. Suggest the Cancun dip, jalapeño bacon wrapped shrimp and Fiesta Fajitas.

Four times dining here and all of them have been great. Portions are large, food is very good, large menu, excellent prices.
El Mocajete is huge, could feed a family and the meat, juices, and flavor– awesome!
Chicken soup is large, flavorful, and a winter staple for me.
The burrito Juanito is a must try– the lime sauce, and carefully selected ingredients (fries, squash, and more) I highly recommend trying.
Such a gem on the outskirts of the TC metro.

Finally after bookmarking this place a few months ago I went and checked it out. The place was packed on a Friday night. It’s a little odd that it shares the space with a gas station. But once your inside you cannot tell. The place is decorated very well, with cool paintings on the wall and Mexico décor. The two of us were seated
In a very small two person booth. Being a tall smaller person I felt scrunched and cramped. I don’t know how a larger person would have felt sitting here. I would have asked to move but the place was too busy and the bar area was right by the door. It was a very cold evening and even not sitting by the bar the cold draft hit me every time the door opened. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was good. The prices seemed a little high compared to other comparable places in the area. The menu was huge. I finally had to just choose something due to my stomach growling. My quesadilla was excellent and so was my dates three tacos. Hope this place makes some minor changes but it was still pretty great.

We will not be returning. The food and drinks were awesome, until we were charged THREE times for our bill totaling $ 150. Nothing was done to try to make this experience better besides promising our money would be back in our account by Tuesday (it’s Friday). The money isn’t the issue, but the principle behind it. Truly disappointing experience.

Ordered the Lindo’s Special to go the first time. Waited over 30 minutes, but the food and portion sizes was very good. Able to stretch into 3 meals.
Dined in yesterday 11÷15÷15.
The salsa at the table was very bland and we had to add tons of salt for any flavor.
Ordered the Lindo again and my partner ordered the platter with the steak, chicken & fish. We got our food within 10 minutes. The Lindo wasn’t as flavored as the first time, just ok. My partner’s dish was gigantic for the price and said the steak was tasty and tender.
Waited and waited for the wait staff (we never had the same person) to give us our bill. No one did so we went up to get in line to pay and a waitress told us we could pay at the bar. Our total was $ 32 & some change. We handed her $ 40 and she asked if we wanted change. We had already left the tip at the table and told her yes. She didn’t look happy, closed the register and went over to the other register making us wait another 5 minutes. She came back with 7 $ 1 dollar bills. Didn’t care for the hint that they wanted a tip which we had already provided if they even bothered to check on us.

Had high hopes for this place. First time we went the food was tasty and what we hoped for. After the second and third visit we won’t be back. Quality went way down, bland and watery.

First — The staff is rude.
Second — They won’t honor their own digital coupons.
Third — They have another special — buy 10 meals and get one free — they make that very difficult to utilize and place all kinds of restrictions.
Fourth — It is really loud in there, so we usually get it to go. Just today, we see they now charge a .35 to go charge!
Seriously, we have to pay to not eat there! Uggh. More and more this place is not for us. I bet we would eat more than .35 worth of chips and salsa if we were eating in!

Just had the worst experience of our dining life. The first table we were sat at was wobbly and my husband’s booth was more like a rocking chair. So we relocated ourselves to the table across the aisle. The restaurant serves Pepsi so we both got waters, the waiter left but I wanted to order the chorizo cheese dip but he left too quickly. I had to order as he walked by. So he came back to get our entrée order. Two chicken chimichangas for me and three cheese and onion enchiladas for my hubby… And the waiter says… «You don’t like to spend money, ordering water and enchiladas …» And my husband’s and my jaws were on the floor. We got up and he walked out. I stopped to the first employee and asked if she was the hostess. The waiter stopped to hear me explain and then walked away. The manager came over and I explained. He was apologetic. But we were already insulted.

This place is really good. The portions are super big. We ordered the fajitas for 2 and it could feed 4. Seriously. Nice menu and great friendly staff.

I came back for lunch while in the area, and ordered off the extensive lunch menu. Got a combo that included a shrimp quesadilla, and man o man. If I shut my eyes, it was exactly like the one I had in Tulum Mexico last winter. Must have been the same cheese… O my gatos,
soooooo good.
Then, I went for the gusto — — -Fried Ice Cream
Oh, well, it can’t all be teriffic. It was too large a portion and the coating wasn’t crispy, too
soggy. :-(
I guess I’ll just have to go back to Arizona for the kind of Fried Ice Cream I like. Darn it
All in all, an unusually friendly server, a spacious booth, fast food, great ambiance, and a reasonable price.
