Submitted on behalf of my 8-​year-​old niece who saw me writing a restaurant review and suggested we review one of her favorites: Perkins or McDonalds.
Perkins it is.
What did she like best? The chocolate milk. «I like when it’s so full that it comes spilling out the top when I put the straw in. And then I like when it’s just really cold, with all the chocolate and it’s just really good.»
What else do you like? «The mac and cheese. I absolutely love it.»
Is there anything you don’t like about Perkins? «Nope. I just LOVE coming here.»
I gotta say — I don’t mind it either. The place is clean, servers are friendly and attentive, and it’s an easy way to score a few Awesome Aunt Points with my favorite little rugrat.

What can you expect?
I ended up here because I was on a business trip & was craving a quick potato pancake. It was merely ok. They were dead and my waiter was kissing the asses of an elderly couple about their trip to Alaska. I was so annoyed. All I wanted was a refill & my check– I was there for an hour! Ughh!

Met with a customer here and had a late breakfast. The food and service was great. This location looks newer so it is much better than some of the older Perkins locations. The restrooms were clean and there was plenty of parking available.
Check them out. You’ll be pleased with the newness of the facility and the service seems to be good. Food is to be expected coming from a Perkins. Not the best you’ll ever eat, but is still up to standards.

I had one of their «get cracking» specials. Pigs in a blanket, two eggs, and hash browns for 3.99. It was delicious. Everything came just as ordered. Eggs over easy, and hash browns extra crispy. This is a newer location from what I can tell. It is also clean. I just wouldn’t come on a Saturday or Sunday AM. But that is no surprise. Oh yeah… when you order coffee they give you a whole pot.
