Not easy finding appliance parts here in the Freehold area. There is one place in East Brunswick, but they never seem to have the parts I am looking for in stock. All the years I have driven past Youngs Appliance laughing at the gorilla with the deformed hands, I had no idea they sold parts too. A friend of mine got parts there and tipped me off to them. I called and asked if they had what I needed. They told me to call back in 30 mins while they checked. Sure enough, they had what I wanted. Mind you, I could have gotten the part for a little less online, but that would mean waiting so I bit the bullet. They gave me a reference number on the phone so when I went in, they were able to look it up and grab the part. Do be warned that there are NO RETURNS ON PARTS!!! Kind of a bummer if you aren’t really sure if it what you need so BE SURE!!! Can’t comment on their appliance sales because I have not purchased from them.

This is a local store has a fair supply of floor models to look at, prices seemed reasonable. The staff was very helpful in providing information on my appliance parts that i needed that are now obsolete. All in all I would be back to buy.

I’ve purchased appliances at Youngs a few times in the past. The prices aren’t the best, but delivery was punctual. I recently went to Youngs to purchase a stove burner and I gave them the model No etc. The part looked different yet, they said it was same. Part didn’t work and no refunds, I bought the correct part in Old Bridge for $ 86.00 and worked perfect. If you need appliances quickly, they’re OK, but don’t buy parts there. I felt robbed and will never go there again.

I have lived within 10 minutes of this appliance store for the last 28 years. I have gone into this store on no less than 7 occasions to try yo purchase appliance parts and have left frustrated on every occasion, swearing to never return. Recently i needed a $ 3.00 microwave fuse and decided taht it was not worth the trip to Old Bridge to get it, what could possibly go wrong. I should have known better. I walked in with fuse in hand and gave it to the man who asked if he could help me. He asked me if I had a make and model # and I said no it’s a 20 amp fuse for a microwave oven. He replied that he wasn’t sure they could help without a make and model # and walked into the back. About 10 minutes later another guy came out and handed me the fuse saying he couldn’t do anything without a make and model #. I replied «I’m not surprised!» and left. I went home and wrapped the fuse in tin foil so we could use the microwave and 2 days later I was near an appliance store in Old Bridge so i swung in without the fuse or make and model # of the Oven. I told the guy I needed a 20 amp fuse for a microwave, he walked in the back fo r about 20 seconds and handed me the fuse and told me it would be $ 3.17.
I have never attempted to buy an appliance at Young’s, but have looked at the prices in the store while I have been there waiting for parts I never got and I certainly don’t see any reason to buy them there! But I know for sure if you need an appliance part STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

My parents first purchased appliances from Youngs appliances in the early 80s, now as an adult I purchased a washer and dryer from them, and recently a LG dishwasher. I’ve always had top notch service and the sales people are nice and informative, and the installers are on time and helpful.

I purchased a bunch of appliances over the years from Young’s and have been real happy. We just bought a washing machine there, we had a little problem and they came out right away and took care of it. We were very happy and will continue to shop there.

This store has the WORST customer service. The salesman are rude and lazy. I will never set foot in that store again. Hoe they stay in business is beyond me. Take my advice go somewhere else!
