The service is Poor. The 2 times I ate there they seemed confused. We were brought the wrong order 2x on our second visit. The food is ok. They don’t serve beer or wine. For what you get its over priced.

Fantastic Greek food, great service. Sometimes the small unknown places are the best and this is definitely one of them!

Came in here to eat before it was pretty good. Decided to give them a call to have some food delivered, was very impressed that when I asked how long it would be they were true to their word and arrived within 30 minutes as they stated. Had the lamb gyro, chicken souvlaki and it was delicious and fresh. Will definitely order again when I need my Greek fix.

I’ve been here a couple of times. Usually get food to go. Food is always made to order and very good ! I would definitely give it a chance if you’re in the area.

Won’t give it 5 stars because it’s very pricey and the portions are small but the food here is excellent, the fries are some of the best I’ve had.

Not terrible, but not great. Overpriced for the portion sizes. Food arrived luke warm and soggy. Greek salad was basically lettuce and green peppers. Cheap with tomatoes and feta cheese. I expected more from a $ 12 salad. On the bright side, the chick pea soup was good… although not hot when it arrived. There is no other greek option in Howard Beach that I am aware of… so if you are desperate… sure go ahead but don’t go too hungry… portions are small for the prices.

JUSTTERRIBLE!!! On Thursday we ordered our food around 8:40pm, expected waiting time was supposed to be 30−40mins! Ok! We waited almost hour and a half. Plus we called at 9:20pm, and they said the delivery guy left and he should be there within 3mins! UGH! The food was cold as stone, my beans were extra oily and baklava had a very strange taste. We were excited to try Greek food that deliver to our area, we live within 10 mins away! My husband called the manager and he said he can’t give us a discount on this order. Just disappointing. We threw over $ 40 worth of wood in the garbage. I don’t think we will be ordering their food anymore.

We were feeling Greek food one night and we decided to give this place a try. I really liked the Tzatziki sauce they used for the greek salad and the main entrees. You can really taste the creaminess of the greek yogurt and the refreshing cucumber and dill pieces in it. My lamb gyro was juicy and tender. The biggest disappointment of the night was the eggplant and zucchini chips. I took two bites and passed on the rest because it was the most salty dish I have ever tasted. They should really ease up on the seasoned salt. Other than that, this place was ok. FYI: Portions are massive!

Went here for a light dinner one night. The hummus was really tasty and they gave you enough for 4 people(we were only two). Had the grilled octopus and it was really good. Its served on top of roasted peppers and capers with balsamic vinegar. It was different than the way most Greek restaurants serve it, but I was pleasantly surprised. Then we had the chicken souvlaki platter and the chicken was moist and tender. Usually it’s dry chicken, but not here ! I will definitely go back for more. This place will definitely stay in my rotation. The prices are fair but the service is just a little slow. Not«deal breaking» slow, just a tad bit slow. Either way, I am still a big fan.

I’ve tried this spot a couple of times. Not impressed with their grilled calamari appetizer. It tasted very acidiy. I’ve had better and tastier elsewhere. I’ve had their spreads on varies times but the taste is not consistent. The ambiance and décor is nice however but The service varies. The waiter did not check to see if everything was ok.

I would give it a 3.5 in reality but decided to round up because it’s a small family-owned place. I personally find it refreshing to see the whole family working there, even seeing the owner’s young daughters in the corner table just surfing the Internet. Service: Great. They are accommodating and attentive. Sometimes they ignore you because it’s just busy but once they realize you’ve been sitting without water, they apologize and get it right away. Only think that bothers me is that sometimes they offer complimentary pita before your entrees. Sometimes they do not. When they don’t offer it, I ask if I can have some. They always give me some but they’ll say something like«We don’t do that. I’m not supposed to but don’t worry ;) I’ll give you some» — it’s annoying being told different things. (Disclaimer: I never placed a pickup or delivery — I’ve heard they aren’t the best with that!) Food: Everything is OK. All the food is somewhat bland. It needs a touch of salt to get it tasting right. They also give the tiniest ramekin of tzatziki sauce. My favorite thing is the lemon potatoes. They are so good! I don’t like the lamb much, it find it way too oily/fatty. The chicken souvlaki is ok(one of the dishes that needs more seasoning). I like the Greek salad that comes with the platters because they don’t skimp on the feta or the olives. All in all, give it a try if you’re in the area.

Normally I would have written a great review for this restaurant but I’m forced to write this. I ordered a chicken gyro like many of the previous times before but this gyro came with an extra condiment. That condiment being a hair embedded with thing the chicken, tomatoes and lettuce. I only was able to take 3 bites before I noticed the hair in my food. When I called them back to tell them what happened, I was told that it couldn’t have been the hair of the person who prepared my food bc all of the gyros was prepared by the same person. I’m not sure how that made any sense but I demanded to speak to a manager so that I am get a refund. I was told that the manager wasn’t on the premises and that I can receive credit for the next order. Are they crazy??? I would never ever ever order from here again.

I called for takeout after my dentist recommended this place because they have delivery. Well, I called for delivery on a Saturday night and they told me no delivery that night. A bit off-putting. I was in the mood for Greek so I decided to not be lazy and call back for pickup. I ordered the Hummus and the lamb yeero with zatziki sauce. Yum. Took only 10 – 15 so I hopped right in the car. I waited 10 minutes when I got there. This restaurant is BYO and an order at the counter, get a number type of place. Since I was waiting I did some observing. I watched them preparing a Greek salad and I was underwhelmed by the unripened tomatoes(one of my pet peeves). They also topped off the iceberg lettuce with mixed lettuce, almost as if to disguise. Once I got home, my food was fortunately still warm. The hummus lacked garlic and flavor all together, but the pita was warm and soft. My lamb yeero was definitely more tasty than my hummus, but I think I can still taste the onion days later. I guess it’s all or nothing with flavor at this place. I would definitely return with my husband to give it another try. Possibly a crêpe?

I was craving a souvlaki and found this place courtesy of Unilocal right in the neighborhood. I was very impressed with their souvlaki and tzatziki sauce(I’m sure I spelled that wrong). It really couldn’t have been better. The pita was nice and soft and the vegetables were fresh and crispy. I could drink the tzatziki sauce it’s so good. The fries on the other hand were a bit soggy but that could be because my order was for takeout. Same for the fried eggplant and zucchini. It was delicious, especially the pieces of eggplant that were still crispy, but mostly it was soggy. I would hope if I were eating in, this wouldn’t be an issue. Also I think the eggplant and zucchini should be sliced thinner. The dipping sauce was delicious but I didn’t really like the texture. No big deal. The service was friendly and prompt and from what I can tell the inside of the restaurant looks clean and comfortable. This restaurant is a welcomed addition to the myriad of Italian restaurants in Howard Beach.

This was recommended by Queens Chronicle as the«Place to Be for Greek Food». We were on our way to Greece for a tour and we decided to give ourselves a little introduction to Greek food. Small joint but has a nice ambiance. I’m posting pictures along with this review. It has three huge portraits of the Acropolis, island of Mykonos & some close up photos of boats. Clean & friendly staff. We ordered the Hortiki salad, Hummus plate, Gyro wrap with lamb and pork chops with lemon potatoes. Everything we had was so good! If this is how authentic Greek food is supposed to taste, then we’re in for a treat in Greece.
