Bobbi and the Strays Annual Halloween Masquerade Ball

Bobbi and the Strays holds an Annual Masquerade Ball the Thursday before Halloween every year. Usually it takes place at Russo’s on the Bay. You can always check their website to see when and where it will be. The venue is usually set by August.
I go every year and try to bring as many friends and family as I can because it is just a great night. You get unlimited beer, wine, and soda — and a full dinner as well. A DJ spins while guests dance the night away.
There are fabulous auction items to bid on as well as some great raffle prizes. They also give out prizes for the best costumes too.
Celebrities also show. A few years the Sopranos came — then a bunch of Soap Stars — then designers like Steve Madden — then Rue McClanahan — then a few reality show stars, etc. You never know who will be there or who will show. It is pretty cool.
Plus — proceeds from your tickets (after the dinner and banquet hall) all go to help stray dogs and cats. So what better way to spend your time — partying and helping animals at the same time.
It is always a great night. People also can get pretty creative with their costumes too — so it is always fun just to come and look!
