I have been coming here for years! I love this place! My go-to is the turkey cranberry.

Decent place. A bit on the slow side of things for a quick bite, but the food quality and price makes up for any short comings this little place has. It very much is a «hole in the wall» and that’s about what you get from it. If you go in expecting that much it really is a decent place to grab a bite to eat. I recommend their«poor boy special.»

I love their sandwiches. I almost always get the Cajun Turkey. The bread is fresh, the meat is flavorful, and the shredded lettuce makes for the perfect texture. It’s all you’d want in a little Mom and Pop stop. The staff is friendly and welcoming, I always manage to small talk a bit with the gals.

I don’t understand all the poor reviews for this place. I came in for a quick lunch, and it was a great experience. I love the bread they serve the sandwich on. It really gives the sandwich a great texture and feel. Anyway, $ 7 for the sandwich, chips, and a drink. Great lunchtime deal. Got my food quickly, and I was served by the nicest lady. I’m definitely coming back. Try their namesake — the Zero’s!

Summary: Waited 40+ minutes and never got my order Today(Wednesday, 04-17-2013), I walked over to Zero’s for a quick sandwich. I got there at 11:15 am, well before the normal lunch rush, and ordered a small Zero sandwich. I then sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. And waited. At 11:30 am, the lunch crowd hit and the place filled up. Orders started to come out, but not mine. I twice went to the counter and was told«your’s is next.» And so, I waited some more. After 40 minutes of waiting and watching people who had ordered their food 20 minutes after me get their food, I left. I will not be back.

I love the sandwiches here becasue they are usually fresh and hot. They make them on the spot. It’s nothing fancy in terms of the inside of the place and that’s the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars. You may even call it Mom and Pop. The lady who runs it is prompt and courteous. So I do recommend.

For those of you in a hurry I’m surprised you didn’t think of CALLINGINYOURORDER. Duuuh. ;p Anyway, I think the sandwiches are really good and the prices are only slightly more expensive than Subway. Good variety, too. I’ve never eaten inside, but yeah the décor is lacking and I don’t think I ever want to. The guy(who owns the place, maybe?) is very nice and laid back. He’s usually the one who takes my order(over the phone). The only time I had a problem was when I requested pepperjack cheese in place of something else. Couldn’t taste it at all. Otherwise, good service and delicious sandwiches!

Good sandwiches. Can’t resist their olive tapenade, just add some jalepenos on a turkey & roast beef. They have a po’ boy special w/chips and drink for $ 5 that’s pretty popular. Expect that you might have a wait, cause they can get busy at lunch time. But they are worth it.

This small non-descript shop, has some decent specials. $ 6.95 for a sandwich, bag of chips and medium soda. Why not throw these guys my money, instead of McDonalds. I ordered the BLT,(without Cheese. since it’s listed that way) and it came out properly, and promptly. The bread on these is somewhere in between ciabatta bread, and a pannini. Fluffy, airy, and toasted. It looks like a mini space ship sitting it it’s small basket, but surely hefy enough to make a very nice lunch. The woman working the register spoke perfect English, and the person who served my food also seem friendly. The counter person also directed me to the Cash machine across the street, when I asked her if she knew where I might find one, saving me blocks of walking to main street. I like this place, and would recommended it as a quick spot for lunch.

I’ve experienced Zeros on two consecutive days this week. It is around the block from my new job. First visit the young woman who took my order could not confidently tell me the ingredients in their signature namesake sandwich. How big is the regular size I ask. She separates her two index fingers to demonstrate. I thought she was making a lewd gesture relating to my shortcomings. Is it 6″? 5″? Do you want me to ask says she unenthusiastically. No, I tell her just give me a large tuna. A zeros sandwich turns out to be a lot like a torta, except the bread is not as thick. And it is toasted. The tuna was not bad, except it is made with sweet relish. Not my style. The next day I had the Zero– a torta with cheap pork deli meats and cheese, with the same sweet relish, again toasted. It sucked. And like Greg F, I had to wait ten minutes for my order to be filled.

Okay, so running behind on my lunch break, I decide to go to Zero’s for a «quick» take out sandwich. I order the Italian special — the lady who takes my order barely speaks English, but I manage to point to the special board and say one please. Somehow, this ends up being confusing to her as I do get the Italian, but she seemed to think I didnt want onions or olives. And it took like 10 minutes for them to make my sandwich. Really? 10 minutes? Okay, so the food was okay, but GOD forbid if you are in a hurry and want a sandwich. Lenny’s subshop can whip out a sub in less than 3 minutes. Also, its a really tiny place and lacks décor. Hey, I don’t really care about décor, but really? storing your extra supplies in stacks near the windows? Please. Anyway, don’t bother with this location unless you are really desperate for a sandwich. Go across the street and into the tunnel for better choices.
