Ok I will confess that I love Thai more than Chinese. That being said I am giving my review with every effort to be fair. Location exterior is nice. In a seemingly up coming area. Strip mall is nice. The location itself smelled like sore garbage. I ordered carry out and came into the restaurant regretting the order. It took the staff several minutes to pull my order(I called it in). Then they seemed to struggle to ring it up. I ordered lemon chicken fried spring rolls. And cheese puffs(CRABRANGOON). The fried rice had no flavor or seasoning or vegetables. The chicken breast was bland a terribly luke warm. Didn’t love it at all. Find some thing else. You’ll be glad that you did.

The family decided to take a page from«A Christmas Story», avoid cooking a big meal with the mess after, and went out for Chinese on Christmas day this year. There weren’t many places open on our side of town and I found this place online. I called on Christmas eve and they told us they were open on the 25th. Three of us ordered the General Tso Chicken and my wife ordered the Happy Family — all on the lunch menu. We also ordered pork dumplings for an appetizer. The food was perfect — in flavor and in portion. Quick service and a smile to go along with it. The prices were great — only 35 for the entire family, and we usually can’t keep things under 50 when going out. We will certainly be returning in the future!

Chicken meat was really questionable… Really low quality food. Dirty bathroom even had flickering light! Creepy.

Mr.: average, reasonably priced Chinese food. Ms.: I concur. Ordered the sesame chicken – same that I order anywhere else. Wish the breading was a bit crispier. Not bad, just not stellar either. Would come back if didn’t find something better. good price. good service.

We’ve been in the Champion Forest area for nearly six years and just uncovered this gem of a place. Small and quaint we decided to trek in for dinner one night. Very friendly staff, brightly lit, and fast service. Cool thing is their lunch menu extends past the lunch hour and ends at 9:00PM, Monday — Friday.

Don’t know how this place is even open… Has someone notified the health department? Cutting cabbage and preparing food in the main dining area? I won’t be ordering from here again. Not only was the setting terrible, my chicken was way under cooked. The reviews are seriously misleading. Maybe even inflated by the same person on different accounts. I signed up on Unilocal just to leave this review. I’ll be notifying the health board. God awful.

It was the worst Chinese food or they are really bad at cooking Pad Thai. I risked it and order Pad Thai cause’ they have it in the menu as something new. Who knows? Maybe they had a Thai cook back there or a killer new recipe! After my first bite, omg‼ I almost passed out cause’ how overly sweet their pad Thai was! Horrrrible‼ I couldn’t continue eating after that‼ my husband got the egg foo young and it was edible, but not very good. The staff was also not very nice. The waitress was okay, but someone used the restroom and another employee went in after them and left the restroom spraying air freshener whole coughing IN the restaurant. So impolite and the customer was obviously very embarrassed! I asked a simple question and was rudely talked about in Chinese by another employee. She put on a smile, but didn’t know I spoke Chinese! Suffice to say, we won’t be back.

Came here for lunch. The food was so good. Hot and fresh, just the way i love my food. The prices were very reasonable. I didn’t see anything over $ 14.00 on the menu. I’m not that into chinese food because i love vietnamese did more and is hard to find good chinese places now a days but this place was good. I would definitely come back and try some of their other dishes. Customer service was good as well.

I really wanted to make this place my new Chinese food go-to on this side of town. The staff are some of the sweetest people I’ve met. But they failed me. Got my food to-go and they were lightning fast, but perhaps too fast. Because my General Tso’s Chicken was pink. PINK inside — every single piece. The food also lacked flavor. Nothing had a bite to it like I’m used to with Asian food. Everything was bland especially my soup — it was literally water with a piece of dough dropped in. Very bummed. If anyone knows where to get good Chinese food in this area PM me.

I always see this place but never stop by to try it but decided to today. I ordered the hot and sour soup which wasn’t spicy but tasted delicious and the Kung Pao chicken which tasted great but I couldn’t handle the heat it was a little too spicy for me and I’m usually able to enjoy spicy food. My sister ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was delicious and crispy. Will be making another visit soon. The place was clean and the workers were really nice.

I am a lover of Chinese food. On a recent business trip to Houston, I searched Unilocal for Chinese food nearby. I stumbled upon this place, it had really good reviews. I started to have it delivered, but changed my mind and decided to drive over, it was only 5 minutes away. Well … My gps made this 5 minute trip into a hour treasure search! Omg, I was so frustrated, I passed the place about 4 times. When I finally found it, it was snuggled away in a shopping center. Upon entering, it was nice, clean, and small. I placed an order for General Tso chicken, and shrimp fried rice. I had to add the shrimp, but that was no problem. The service was excellent, the ladies were really nice, and the wait was short. When I arrived at my hotel, I was starving. It was a generous portion of food, especially for the price. Everything was steaming hot. I usually don’t like the peas and carrots in my rice, so I deduct a point for that, but the chicken was great, I really enjoyed it. I also had wonton soup, but no side of crispy wontons like I am used to getting from other places. Overall, I enjoyed it, I would visit again.

Ordered the egg foo young and shrimp with broccoli. I had half of egg foo young and brought the rest home for next day’s breakfast and lunch. Worked out well since I just moved to Houston and don’t have much to cook with yet.

Food was amazing. General Tso had the perfect amount of heat! This place is also very clean. Cleanest Chinese restaurant I have ever been to actually. Nice too. 5⁄5 need to visit if you like this style of food!

It was ok. People that own it are really nice. I got the general tso chicken. It tasted more like orange chicken. The rice was good. Egg roll was super greasy. I give them a 4 bc they were extra nice. The food is maybe a 3. Just your typical Chinese take out. Nothing Special

The Triple delight was, well… delightful. Fresh hand cut carrots, bell pepper, snow peas, water chestnuts, broccoli, tiny corn, mushrooms with shrimp, chicken and beef. Yummy. Next time I’ll get steamed rice because the only thing that was lacking in the entire experience was the fried rice. Well done!

Didn’t really enjoy any aspect of our experience except the server. The kitchen was slow, the eggroll was chewy, soup was OK. The entrée we ordered, Mayonnaise Shrimp, was pretty much just fried shrimp covered in flour then smothered with mayo. I gagged down one shrimp before I realized I had ordered the worst shrimp dish ever created. I did enjoy the cheese puff and wished I had about 4 more of those to eat. We were looking for a specific shrimp dish and this was by far not it. The server was extremely helpful in trying to help us describe it so we could order it next time. Its not on the menu, so I don’t know if we will be back. It seemed like everyone else in the restaurant was loving their food, so I think we just made some poor menu choices.

We order delivery from here whenever we’re in the mood for chinese. There has been a couple of times curiosity has hit us and we’ve tried other places, but we always revert back to this one because it’s the best in the area for chinese delivery. Their egg foo young is DELICIOUS!!! The only thing I’ve tried from here that I’m not a huge fan of is their egg rolls, but everything else i’ve enjoyed. They also have coupons where if you spend a certain amount you get free menu item’s. Try their house special fried rice; it’s awesome!!!
