Tuff Shed

We had such a good experience with Tuff Shed! We special ordered a shed at Home Depot. Someone from Tuff Shed called us the next day to discuss any customization (i.e. paint colors, vents, etc.) we wanted and she was very friendly. On the day of installation, the guys were on time (actually early! but they called ahead and it worked out perfectly). They were very professional, efficient, and just super nice. The shed looks even better at home than the display at Home Depot too, so that’s a perk.

Tuff Shed produces a fairly inferior product. They claim «door, floors and hardware»… but it’s really not that impressive. Take a look around any Home Depot parking lot and you can see their poorly constructed buildings. The wood isn’t consistent throughout the building. There are knots everywhere! The hinges might be well constructed, but that doesn’t mean they won’t come off of the actual structure. The floors are made of cheap composite wood, and will flake over time. They also warp if they get wet. After a few years, the paint fades to a very unpleasant color. Since the buildings are pre-​fab, there also isn’t much room for customization. You have to specify it ahead of time if you want a window put three inches to the left, and then pay extra. At least with the competition (Classic Manor), they come out to your house and build it on site. You get to see them put the structure together and can make more last minute changes.
If you’re interested in an overpriced crappy building, go with tuff shed. If you want something quality, spend your money elsewhere.
