TownePlace Suites Houston I-10 West/Energy Corridor

CLEAN!!! Awesome kitchenette! My bf and I had to make last minute arrangements and couldn’t find a place that wasn’t going to cost us over 200 big ones for a night and half. Found this place for 79 or so. I was little worried because of price and location but trusted the reviews I read and I’m glad we decided to come here. Did I mention it’s CLEAN!!! Comfy beds and the free wifi is great. I work from home and had no issues with my connection. I would definitely stay here again!

Good place to book with points. Full kitchen so good for long stays. For shorter stays I think hampton inn or hilton garden inn have nicer amenities like common spaces and pool. But 7500 Marriott points was worth it. Good location near Memorial.

Stayed night of July 11, 2015. Pool was out of service because a fence had been broken. The TV was cracked and the remote didn’t work. They advertise this phenomenal breakfast everywhere but the person who was in charge of breakfast didn’t show up in the morning. The bed was comfortable but the pull out sofa was terrible. The only bright spot to this hotel was the overworked check-​in agent (manager?) Temeika who did the best she could with the limited support that she had. Kind of a major dud for a Marriott property.

What a perfect stay!!! Ok where do I start??? Humph… Alright…
For starters, for a quick, unexpected trip, I selected this hotel for the brand name, location & the availability of pet stay. Leo, Jermaine, Brittny (spoke with her over the phone) & Tiffany were FANTASTIC at accommodating my last minute needs. From start to finish, I felt value during my stay. Not being a novice to the Marriott brand, this treatment was expected & exemplified during my entire stay. Kudos!!!
Next, I advised the front desk of my slightly earlier than the official check in time & they most graciously accommodated me. Jermaine was friendly & courteous to me even during the wee hours of the morning; how refreshing was this… Being able to check in early was fantastic, because although it’s only a 5 hour drive from NOLA, it was refreshing not to have to wait around for my room. This was a stellar move on the part of the staff members.
And then breakfast in the morning was also a WIN-​WIN!!! Hello… free and «i didn’t have to cook it food…» yessssssss I LOVE IT!!!
Located immediately off I-​10 near the Katy-​Memorial City Area, this hotel was perfect for my needs.
Only thing that could’ve been better was… THE WEATHER. But since ONLY GOD can control that, I was SUPER satisfied with my visit.
Marriott gets it & this property & the staff members are to be applauded for embodying the true meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE & GETTING IT RIGHT!!!

Walked into my room and had a disagreement with the smell inside; just across the hall a housekeeper was finishing cleaning another room, in which i stepped and liked much better. called the front desk and switched to the new room without the slightest hassle.
breakfast features what i believe to be Nature Valley granola; woo-​hoo! i need to show up earlier to get some fruit tomorrow.
really enjoying the renovated room. cannot beat the full kitchen. welcome home away from home!

Best Marriott service I ever experienced.
The hotel it is medium, but honestly, when in town again, I wont go anywhere else but here.
Loved this place deeply and the employees here should be the standard example for any other hotel chain.
From the clean ladies, to the front desk, security, manager, everyone… you guys are 10+

This was our first time staying at TownePlace Suites, but it certainly won’t be our last. This location is conveniently situated at the intersection of two major highways, but it’s set back from the road so that you don’t hear any traffic noise. We had a minor mix-​up at check-​in, but the gentleman working the front desk dealt with the issue swiftly and courteously.
The room (studio with kitchenette) was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and cookware you would need for a long stay. We learned that one man has lived there for over two years, and we could easily imagine doing so very comfortably.
The provided breakfast is not bad, but certainly not great. On the Saturday morning we were there, the place was crowded with lots of people vying for the single waffle iron. The one lady who was running the place was having a hard time keeping up with the mess and the demand for cooked items in the chafing dishes. However, she was very friendly and even brought my wife and me a couple of cheese omelets without our even asking.
All in all, a great experience. We’ll be back!

We stayed here for a week when we moved to the area, because they had 2 bedroom suites and we needed somewhere pet friendly. When we pulled up in the middle of the night we were concerned, but the room itself was perfectly fine. The suite had been recently renovated, and felt very clean, with the exception of the occasional cockroaches.
The pool is barely bigger than a bathtub, we used it once and didn’t bother again. Breakfast was adequate, but nothing to write home about.
I’d definitely stay here again if I needed to for some reason.

Absolutely outstanding service. They can’t be beat when it comes to making you feel at home and taken care of.
Breakfast wasn’t very good, but I’ve seen worse.
Rooms were great.
