La Quinta Inn & Suites Houston West Park 10

Great place to stay on a budget.
A hotel booking service website messed up our reservation but the front desk lady set us up quite quickly (less than 10 minutes) and we were on our way! Stayed in a HUGE, CLEAN suite with a king sized bed and a massive bathroom. Everything was spotless and clean, our only complaint was that the shower heads are too low for my 6 ft 6 boyfriend (common occurrence though!) Definitely a good place to stay, rooms look like a 5 star hotel on a 2 star budget!

We stopped here on our drive from Florida to Arizona. It had been a long 13 hour day and we were exhausted. The staff was friendly and quickly got us set up with a room.
The biggest thing for us was that the the hotel was pet friendly, the rooms and building were clean, and that the location was seemingly safe since I was driving a moving truck with all of our stuff in it.
They had a pool, fitness room and business center. None of which did we use.
Free WiFi — Always appreciated. It worked fine for me when I was setting up my Fantasy Football team. Yes… I was driving cross country and one of my top priorities that evening was setting up my FF team.
The breakfast offering in the morning was underwhelming, but we didn’t mind. You could make your own waffles, which was neat, but I wasn’t feeling waffles. We just got our coffee and were shortly back on the road.
If you’re looking for an affordable, clean place to stay just outside of Houston, I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

Not too much was bad about this place. The one thing that stuck was the toilet seat was broken. Try doing your business when it’s cracked off the hinge :(
