Tostada Regia

This place is always a good and gets an «A+» for its authenticity. It serves Monterrey style food which is quite good. However, where they fail is in the service. You must ask ur waiters at least 6 times before any kind of refill or any service needed. Besides that it’s an ok place that won’t break the bank and satisfies my cravings for some good Mexican food.

Angel was our server on a slow Sunday night! And I MUST say… It has been one of the best services I’ve gotten! He always had a smile when he came to our table! He was nice and patient with me (I don’t speak spanish) left him a good tip! Thank you!!!

Authentic, reasonably priced, attentive great service. We loved everything about this place and we will most definitely be coming back. Thank you for the awesome food and prompt service.

I got the taco gigante, it was fill with shredded chicken. The chicken was a bit dry but still good. The tostada de bistee was delicious. The services was pretty fast but than again there wasn’t many people.

This place gets an A for authentic Mexican food. But I’ve had way better service at one of their other locations. The waiter we had was nice but they took forever to come and refill our chips, ask if we wanted refills, or check if we were good. The food also took long to come out and I just had a torta. Overall I prefer the other location but it’s the same food just slower service. We went around 7pm ish so I’m not sure if service is better at other times of the day. But it is authentic so if you don’t mind waiting then this place is not that bad.

If you’re looking for affordable food, good service and a casual environment, this is the place.
The enchiladas norteñas are delicious! The closest I’ve ever had to authentic Mexican enchiladas.
Their house margaritas are a steal and pretty strong, one will do the trick.

Horrible place! Had a party of about 20 for a graduation dinner, slow service, hair in food. Manager was no help he did not comp the ticket or assist in any way.

Randomly decided to try this place out and I’m glad I did!
I got the tostada a la mexicana. It is huge by the way. It comes with fajita in some sauce and peppers, with finely chopped lettuce, queso fresco, sour cream, and avocado slices. It was delicious! And it was only 6.99!!!
I also had the limeade. Tasted fresh.
Service was also great. Very nice people.

Very, very, very, very good!!! Only 3 gringos in the place. My wife and I were 2 of them. Get it? Authentic. Excellent quality and quantity at any price. Glad we drove past Pappacitas — the have good food at high price. We will be back!

Margarita was good. Tortilla chips was hot and crispy and the salsa was fresh and hot!!! which I like. We had chili con queso too. Food came very quickly and everything we ordered was delicious. Between my family and I was had quesadilla de fajita, tostada regia, caldo tlapeño, caldo de res, and gringa de trompo. The service was good. Our server was friendly and attentive. We will return again in the future.

I should have known not to take a bite out of the grilled jalapeño served on the side with your «Enchiladas Nortenas» plate! It was out of this world spicy! This is a Monterrey style eatery, so prepare yourself and forget about Tex-​Mex style food.
As you walk in to Tostada Regia, a warm welcome is extended to you by all the staff members. This is usually a responsible sign that demonstrates the owner’s attention to customer service. It is clearly evident that the employees have been given sufficient training to make good customer service a daily habit.
The food is splendid, served on a timely manner, and the red salsa leaves you with notes of freshly roasted tomatoes. The complimentary yellow corn chips make your wait a breeze, crunchy and delicious!
The steak torta I enjoyed reminded me of the tortas I once ate as a kid in Mexico. The use of the lime infused mayo adds an extra note of delicacy. My only concern is the slightly heavy amount of mayo they use. I am perfectly fine with it, but many others are not. Overall, my two visits to Tostada Regia have not dissapointed me and I am over all very satisfied.

I can’t believe this place. The manager has sent me a reply on my review saying I am a liar wow I guess they really don’t get concerned about customers well being! That’s proof right there that they do not care they only want your money they do most definitely have ROACHES they’re just too embarrassed to admit it not only that they know no one will want to eat there so they reply to me saying I’m lying! Wow. I don’t lie I’m warning you all. It’s really upsetting that they don’t care the workers there are witnesses which they probably won’t admit it so they can keep their «job». Shows me and hopefully shows you what type of business these people are.

I’ve been here a few times now, for breakfast and lunch… neither has disappointed! Still fairly new for the area, and with lots of nearby competition, it’s one of my favs!
Located in East Houston, off I-​10 East Freeway, Tostada Regia is a quick ‘taqueria’ style mexican spot that specializes in TOSTADAS! Their lunch includes various kinds of toppings for the traditional flat, crispy tortilla… beef, chicken, chicharron, etc. All super tasty and huge!
I just love their breakfast…$ 1 tacos til 11a? Umm yes! Crispy bacon, fluffy pancakes, packed burritos, and my fav huevos rancheros. Casual atmosphere, and very affordable for the whole family.
Great pick… always fresh and friendly.
