I’ve lived here for over 5 years. The only real reason we’ve stayed, is moving sucks, and we hate uprooting special needs kids. Roaches are a huge problem here. Maintenance, is a joke. The«Lead maintenance» doesn’t even do anything, he says he will get something fixed, then does a half-crap job. They’ve had over 4/different managers here, 3 since being bought out by a different management company 2 years ago. Lucy is the only person at the front office who makes sure something gets done. She’s always on top of it, and i can call her, to get it done right. She’s been here forever! There are tons of kids, especially in Phase 2, and they are decent, no trouble makers, but the park is destroyed, so, watch your kids on safety. Multicultural kids also! The grounds are«decent» in Phase 2, needs a lot more attention than they are given.

Ive lived in these apartments for almost 1 year and MOSTLY everyone stays to themselves and i havent had problems with anyone. BUT Theres some neighbors who are extremely loud at night, shoot guns, fight in the street, bring girls over who go around keying cars. Theyre a mess and a front desk worker has even had to brake up an argument and they STILL continue living there. Theyre pretty bad about maintenance. When i first moved in they said my cabinet doors were being ordered and when i called again they still werent in so ive been living there for a year with no cabinet doors and funky drawers. If you dont give them a 60 day notice that youre leaving in time they will still make you give it even if your lease is over and charge you extra for having to stay while not in contract. Ridiculous because they dont send out any reminder of any kind youre just suppose to know. Dont recommend. Good luck.

THEMANAGEMENTHEREISHORRIBLE! PLEASEDONOTGIVETHEMYOURTIMEANDMONEY! The worse apartments to EVER live in. DONOTLEASEWITHTHEM! The property value is down and they over charge you for rent/utilities. I would not refer or recommend this apartment complex to anyone simply because it’s over ghetto and poor quality. They will false advertise and play nice with you, then cheat you out of your money. If you decide to live here, I suggest you read every line on the contract and do a complete walk-though of the property and apartments. The parks for the kids are run down, and the pool is Ok i guess. The mail box is old, rusted and worn down. There is mold, mildew and rust throughout the apartment /bathroom. The quality and condition of these units are unsafe and not sanitary. Timberwalk Apartments management will screw you over and charge you double for poor quality apartments. If you request maintenance repairs too much, they will then threaten to kick you out of the apartments. From my research, they have been doing this to thousands of people that live here and kicking them out for making too many complaints. All the rust, mold and mildew are management/maintenance problems, not the people that PAY to live there. The parking lots are always being over crowed daily. If you work a late night job or go out clubbing, then come home later that night, you will have to park on the side of the street/road and not the apartment complex parking lot! If you live here and park on the other side of the street, your car will get towed that same night or day! They will not give you the«Deposit» back, even if you clean up the entire apartment. The management will lie and say you didn’t pay it even if you have a receipt and proof that you paid it to move-in. I’ve seen several crimes, car wrecks and tows in these apartments during the day and nights. This environment is full of hopelessness, poverty and profanity.

If I could somehow give this place 2.5 stars, I would have done so. I’ve lived here for the past two years, in two different apartment units. The place is pretty ghetto, but nice ghetto, if there is such a thing. The people aren’t first class, but they are okay enough. The grounds of the apartments is beautiful and wooded with many paths and lots of pretty scenery. They even have a koi pond with benches. It’s split into two parts on two different sides of Timber Creek Place Drive, so that makes directing any guest fairly difficult. The parking is pretty sparse, but I’ve seen worse. The BIGGEST downfall of this place is the management office. They are all VERY polite and the office itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, only being polite isn’t enough. Unless you go into the office and physically wait until whatever you need is done, its not going to happen. In fact, I *just* called to report a maintenance issue and the phone rang for 5 minutes with no answer. Ridiculous. The service is beyond sub par, it really is. On a better note, they really don’t mess with you. You can do as you please with your space. The first unit we were in was a 1 bedroom and it was SMALL. The dishwasher was only good for a rinse cycle, because it wouldn’t actually wash anything… being older than me, I don’t know what I was thinking expecting it to actually fulfill its purpose. We recently moved into this new unit and it is SO much nicer. The cabinets and counter-tops were recently redone and it has a brand new dishwasher. I would recommend NOT leasing here UNLESS you can physically walk the EXACT unit you will be leasing, then make your decision. The pools are nice and the playgrounds are good for kids. The tenants aren’t exactly the Cleavers but, again, they really just mind their own business. If you do the same, I think you’ll be fine. This complex will also consider you even if you have bad rental history and poor credit — that is a rarity. I’m not saying its a bad place to live, just go physically check it all out for yourself BEFORE you sign anything.
