Can’t believe this location was SOOOO disappointing. When I ordered hot tea, the waiter brought me water and lemon, totally forgot the actual tea, and that was the best part of our experience. When we ordered at 10:12 to be exact, the table next to us got up no food having been delivered to them and said«good luck, we’ve been waiting 30 minutes for food.» So my husband and I decided if we weren’t served by 10:45 we’d ask. So we had to ask. The waiter said 20 more minutes at least so we decided to leave and asked for our check. A lady(I’m assuming manager), Amanda, came by and comped our meal and asked us to please stay seeing as our ticket was the next in the window. We waited 20 more minutes and still no food. At this point my daughter(1.5 yrs old) was losing her shit and nearly inconsolable. We got up to leave. The lady again told us our food was in the window. I politely as possible told her that if it was than she can pack it to go. She said she would so I sent my husband to put our daughter in the car and I waited another 10 minutes at least for the food. In that time span I saw them take half our food to our now empty table … I almost lost it. There was no communication and something SERIOUSLY wrong in that kitchen. The lies were the worst part though. I have been in the restaurant industry for over a decade and there are many other ways to handle that situation without lying to a customer so obviously. It was infuriating. We ended up at Chipotle after waiting ANHOURAND A HALFAFTERORDERING which is just ridiculous no matter where your eating, much less for an open faced omlette and scrambled eggs and bacon …

This place was very cute and quaint. I loved the outside ambiance. It was beautiful. Stone walkway, and there was a huge fountain outside to enjoy viewing. It was right off the highway which makes for perfect access. We were seated quickly. Our waitress Alison was great. She was awesome in recommending plates, and worked quickly to get us what we wanted. The manager Michelle walked over and talked to us, she made us feel very welcome, and wanted us to let her know how the meal was. It made us feel like we could be honest with her. Now, the food! It was wonderful. I’m usually not an omelette eater, but this place had the best breakfast omelette ever! I had a meal from the smart choice menu, with a serving of an english muffin and fruit on the side. They had a new orange juice product with ginger, coconut water, and something else mixed in, which tasted great. This place is definitely worth a visit. The prices aren’t bad for a breakfast

Went here for brunch for a complimentary brunch for two provided by the manager due to a bad experience last time at a different location. This time, I had a great experience. Food was great and wait was no longer than 15 – 20 minutes for the food. Service was very friendly! Definitely will be coming back to this location. Thank you, Egg and I management for providing me another chance to enjoy your food!

gosh, I really wanted to love this place. From the minute we got there, she was in love with the view, the design of the restaurant and the cleanliness. We ate there 3 times, all 3 times disappointing. We will not be going back there again. Trip 1, we waited forever for a waitress, people sat after we ordered got food before us. Eggs were not properly cooked, and everything else was cold(SOMERESTAURANTSKEEPTHEIRPLATESWARMSOWHENHOTFOODHITSTHEMTHEFOODDOESN“T GETCOLD, you should try it.) Trip 2, less people there, slow service again, eggs not cooked correctly. All other food was cold again. Nice cold plate, nice cold food. Trip 3, Coffee was cold, waited 15 mintues for replacement coffee to be brewed, was not very hot either. Waitress spent lots of time chatting with other customers, food took almost 30 minutes from the time we ordered until it came out, another couple came after us, ordered, ate and was leaving the restaurant when our food came. Again, cold. How can biscuits and gravy be cold each and every time. Cold Bacon, cold coffee. This is not a good place for a hot breakfast. In the future if we just want a cup of coffee with some scenery we might try again, but I am not purchasing food there ever again. And it’s not just this location, we went to another location on Eldridge and 1960 also. The food was again cold, the order was wrong, waited 25 minutes. 4 visits in 5 weeks, never a great experience. we are done. Also, you would think that having a register for the customers to go up to would speed up service so the server did not have to do anything but serve.

Ordered the Eggs Benedict. Not a lot of flavor, but it did pack a delayed punch. And by a punch I mean food poisoning.

The food was good and the service was very good for a busy Saturday morning. The only thing was my wife and I wanted to sit outside. There were four tables, three were empty, but they told us we had to wait 15 minutes but could be seated immediately in the dinning room. Thought that was a little strange since where we were seated we could see the empty tables right up until we left. And that strangeness cost them a star. Other than that it was nice.

Love it! Really nice staff, from the moment we walked in til we left. I had the mocha iced coffee and my sisters had a regular coffee, raspberry iced tea, and hot chocolate, and they all tasted splendid :) our plates looked delicious except the avocado one, wasn’t fresh :/

Apparently my avocado at home is missing lemon, salt and olive oil. Delicious avocado toast breakfast with pineapple tonic(pineapple, orange, cucumber, lime, ginger and coconut water). The otter had something Santa Fe with huevos, beans, cheese, guac, potato, and more. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Good stop on our first morning in the Lone Star state.

Flew into Houston & used the Unilocal app to find a breakfast spot along our route to see family out in Katy. Conveniently right of the Sam Houston tollway. Can’t see why this place comes in at 3 stars. Good food, good service. Not a boring menu. Several fun takes on Benedict & the omelette. Something to suit everyone. Veggies were fresh. The kale drink was refreshing. Coffee was hot. No complaints, wouldn’t hesitate to stop in again.

We were there recently, it took 40 mins to get the food and when We got the food it was cold. Server didn’t care about anything. Location wasn’t busy at all. Food would have tasted better if it was hot. I would not to go back there for again!!! W were 6 people … $ 100 spent there wasn’t worth it at all.

The first time we went here, they were slammed, manager was having to help with tables, and we had to ask for butter 3 times before actually getting it. The food was amazing, so we decided to give it another try last weekend. Mistake. After standing at the hostess stand several minutes, she finally returned, going on the the cashier(who finally came to seat us) «I’m sorry, you know how chatty I get!» She finally took us to our table where we sat for about 15 minutes… no waiter. Then we overheard the waiter for another table say«I’m sorry we just ran out of orange juice». It’s a breakfast place!!! How does that happen??? We looked at each other, got up & left. We went to La Peep, where we only waited about 10 min to be seated & had excellent service. This place needs a major overhaul on staff & management before I go back.

Long story short, I’m not coming back to this restaurant. There was no line and the restaurant itself was not completely occupied, but I still waited about 5 minutes to get sat at a table. No biggie! A friendly waitress came & took my order rather quickly. I ordered a cup of tea & the Parisian Benedict. She quickly came with an assortment of teas for me to choose from, which really delighted me. The ambiance was also rather calm & clean. For these two reasons I give this restaurant two stars. The food, on the other hand, was horrible. I’m unsure if I came on a bad day or what? My food came dreadfully cold. My croissant was already extremely soggy from the egg & hollandaise sauce. The potatoes were also disgustingly cold. Overall taste was very bland, nothing special to the dish. I can cook a breakfast dish 10x’s better, and with much more love. Save your money, you’re better off making a sunny side up egg at home.

Came here twice and the first time was great, but the second time was eh. Customer service is friendly when you walk in. The second time I went it was quite busy. Our waitress got our order quickly but it took a while to come out. There was a bigger party before is so I understand why it took a while. My waitress forgot to give me syrup for my pancake and all of the servers did not look like they were going to help out with any other tables so I waited till she passed by again to finally get my syrup. Food was good though. Decent service.

Breakfast is by far my favorite meal of the day. The strawberry banana waffles are the reason I find myself coming back to this place. The loaded sour cream potatoes are also a huge reason why I gave the egg and I 5 stars. Everything else as far as eggs and bacon are pretty standard anywhere you go.

These guys are very inconsistent during the week. A change in cooks appear quickly with greasy eggs and sloppy French toast. On two(2) YES two occasions they don’t have coffee at 6:30 in the morning. Come on, it is not the weekend rush And there is only one other table occupied.

When it rains it pours. After a ok wait to it we noticed hardly any food was being served. After 35 minutes we found out why. They were having difficulties in kitchen. When we asked to speak to the manager we were told she couldn’t come because she was cooking. We left and won’t come back.

Seriously. We waited almost an hour for our food to come out. Got a booth for 5 people. Put in our orders and one person didn’t get there yet. It’s all fine. Then the last person in our group gets to our booth about 15 minutes later and puts in her order. She gets her food immediately. But where’s our food? I don’t know. The waitress comes by and said she’s putting everything in by fours? Then a couple of minutes later a waiter comes by and says the waitress is putting our orders in separately. Still no food. 30 minutes from when we put our orders in and the only person that got their food is already finished. We were HANGRY. Still didn’t get our food. Other people that got to the restaurant after us already put in their orders, got their food, and left. 45 minutes after we walked in, finally, two people get their food. But the person who gave us our food didn’t even know the name of the dish so WTF. 3 minutes later the other two people get their food. Don’t know about the rest of my group, but I got the green chili chicken hash. I got some eggs that looked like plastic was cooked in with it and only got two little pieces of chicken the size of m&ms. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy and we didn’t ask for anything complicated so why did it take so long? OH! Literally ten minutes after we get our food, the waitress asks us if we’re done. Uh, does it look like we’re done? Yeah. DONEWITHTHISPLACE. BYE.

Recently visited for the first time. Even though they were busy we were seated when we walked in. I ordered the French vanilla coffee and cinnamon raisin French toast. Both were very good, as were the eggs that came with it. We didn’t have to wait that long for the food either. I would definitely go back.

So happy that this place opened up, we need something here besides fast food. Apparently everyone else is happy to see them too, you need to get there early on weekends for a good table and good service. For our last visit we go there at 730 on Sunday morning(Fathers’ Day) and we got the whole patio to ourselves. It was nice and quiet, sitting by the fountain, listening to the Beatles and sipping coffee. Every time I have been there the food has been fresh, tasty and plentiful. I don’t remember exactly what I got, but was the skillet with eggs, asparagus and pesto and it was very good. Get there early or this place will be packed and the waitstaff is stretched a bit thin.

Not fast food. Everything is made to order. Delicious grits, eggs Benedict, omelettes. I stop by in the mornings sometimes just to pick up some grits. They know what they are doing. Nothing instant made here.

Waited 20 minutes for de-caff still waiting. We had table next to us that sat down before us and we were served our food before they ended up leaving. The food ended up being decent but it leaves bad taste when so slow. This is an obvious management problem. They need to step their game up!

I am in the same complex as this restaurant and needed a quick lunch. Call twice to order a pickup box for a meal. Both times they put me on hold and never came back to me. I wouldn’t want these employees representing me or my company. Establishments spend thousands trying to get customers in the door and one foolish employee can ruin all that effort and expense . As for me, I’ll get by, I will go to Whataburger and enjoy it ever so much more. William T.

This place was a great way to start off the first day of sunshine in Houston in a very long time. I woke up and didn’t feel like cooking. So I tried a new spot. This place just opened so everyone is on their A game which I didn’t mind at all. Food was good service was good! Great way to start a Saturday. Now back to sleep I go.
