This place is overpriced. It closes earlier than it’s sister restaurant down the road and parking is h3ll most of the times. Do you know what you have going that at least I like? You have a decent sized patio with the pleasant green florescent light glowing around. I will return when your the next to the last Mexican restaurant on earth, anyways I am not crazy about Mexican food, sorry but it’s an up hill battle to get anymore stars from me. Service is a hit and miss depending on time and day you come here so roll a dice first.

Horrible service and food! Got a bug in my water, dirt in my shrimp and wrong tortillas! First and last! Ugh! Yuck!

This taqueria has been an integral part of my life. I first started going to Tex Mex when it was a mere hole-in-the-wall — now it’s a booming restaurant. Whenever I go, I feel at home — as you should too. The food is always B-B-B(bueno, barato, y bonito). You can find much more authentic food than most of the so called«Mexican» restaurants that litter the shopping centers of Houston. A full-on meal will set you back $ 8 or less. Do yourself a favor and order what the locals are, and drink what they do. A good rule of thumb that I try to follow when dining at ethnic restaurants is to only go to the places that have that original ethnicity eating there. If you see fat white people, turn around and search elsewhere. If they no ‘habla ingles tan bien,’ es una buena onda para este local.
