One good perk about this location is there is a drive thru. I was disappointed with my chamoyada because the ice was clumped in a big ball and rock hard to take apart. My friend had the mangonada and that one was much better. The corn in the cup were a good size but could use more chili powder and hot sauce.

In the hood. Corn was ok, tasted out of a can, not that fresh roasted corn. Nachos where somewhat good, they could provide more cheese. Raspas was a joke.

Wow, what the hell is wrong w/this website? its like everyone’s review on this site is fake. Its obvious that the business owners are posting reviews for their own joints. If you desire runny snow cones in one of the most throwed hoods in houston w/the worst customer service than this is your spot. A snow cone takes about 30 minutes for these women to assemble. The lines move incredibly slow and yet people still go there probably since there arent many attractions in the hood. The place is kind of an ongoing joke among some friends for being such a sweatshop. The place is open from 7 to midnight, 7 days a week. Even in the winter the place is open, as if a person would want a snowcone at 10 pm in the middle of winter.

Stopped by before heading to the Astros game. Place is pretty good! Cheap and delicious.

Snow cones and elotes what else is there to say. I’ve been coming to this place since I was in elementary school. Mom used to bring my siblings and I after school, was always happy to know I would be eating their elotes! Also try the fruit cups with the chili powder, sounds gross but it’s not.

I grew up in the same neighborhood as this location, and when Poor Leonard’s closed(across the street from Moody park) Tampico opened in the same spot. I think this one was the first of the chain… idk. It has since moved to its current spot on Irvington. Although I moved away, I would always drive back and bring anyone who would come me to get a banana snow cone… still cheap and always good!
