The ice is shaved so nicely. One of the best Mangonadas I have had.

I had the«mangonada» and it was all melted! It was a mango juice more than anything, very disappointed. The corn in a cup was okay but I came for my mangonada and I was highly disappointed. I dislike the fact that they don’t take debit or credit cards! You need cash!

Sunday wait line is long but if you like live music it may be worth the wait. Corn in a cup by far my fav.

I LOVE this place. Been coming here since I was little! The food had always been so great, I especially love the rainbow raspas(shaved ice) The cheese for the nachos is so amazing and I honestly can’t eat nachos from another place. Nachos from anywhere else pale in comparison to these! The servers are nice and while the place could sometimes use a cleaning to make th3 tables less sticky, it’s a great place to eat overall!

Love this place! Been a customer for years and despite the long lines, will keep on coming. Their snowcones are big and yet so cheap — .75 cents — and their corn is so good. I recommend cream on the snowcones and also try the funnel cakes. They’re actually really tasty and filling. Evenings and weekends get really busy and both drive thru and front will be full, so be prepared to wait. They also only accept cash which kind of sucks but it is what it is. Snacks are so good there so you won’t mind the wait! Oh and on weekends they have either a clown doing a show or a live band, so you’ll be entertained.

Awesome place! Snow cones are huge and cheap. Plus they have all the flavors. With the whole new food truck scene, these sno cone trucks are charging $ 4 – 8 for one sno cone! That is ridiculous. This place rocks — .75 for a small(which is still huge and a regular size). Their elotes is great! Second only to the truck at fiesta on 249! Nachos = Awesome! They season the cheese, and it is delicious!

I’ve been coming to Flamingo Chill since I was a little girl. It’s my favorite refresqueria. I live in Spring now and the snow cone places I find nearby are pricey and nowhere near as good as Flamingo Chill. I would recommend their Lime or Piña colada snow cones. They’re cheap and amazing. The lines are usually pretty long but it’s worth the wait.

One of the few places that stays open so late. A good spot for Mexican antojitos, you know it’s good because you have to wait almost 30 mins every time you decide you’re aching for a Mexican snack.

My favorite spot That I can actually say EVERYTHING is good. It’s always packed no matter what time of day you go but it is well worth the wait and their menu is very cheap!!!

Favorite refresqueria been going for years even before they made it big ! Their corn in a cup and raspas are the best and come in a huge cup so a small raspa will do almost anyone !

What can I say? I’ve basically been coming here since I was a kid. I’ve watched this place expand and blow up over the years. There’s almost always an insane line of people standing there and tons of cars waiting in their drive-thru. Their food is super cheap and AWESOME! I especially love their snowcones w/la lechera ontop and the licuados w/ice cream. If you’re ever in north houston and you have a sweet tooth, don’t hesitate to stop here.

The line isn’t so bad when delicious raspas and other assorted mexican junk food is the reward. Plus it’s at a price that can’t be beat. Everything I’ve had here I’ve liked even their sandwiches. Try the pickle twisters and tropical snowcones. They’re amazing.

Decided to venture out and try out this spot that alot of people talk about for raspas and elote. So today was the day. Stopped by with some friends this afternoon. I ordered the mangonada which had fresh cut up mango and raspa and I have to admit it had a kick of spicy. made my nose run a little. Also got the corn in the cup with everything and that was spicy too. The corn was $ 2.50 for their small size and raspa was $ 2.75 for their small. My friends ordered the banana shake which she said was good and another friend ordered the chamoy raspa and nachos. They also have pickles, shakes, nachos, mexican hot dogs, frito pies, etc. This is a cash only place with lots of outdoor seating and a dj playing spanish music… mainly salsa and stuff. I also noticed they have a drive thru. One thing I didnt see on the menu were preparadas. The con is lots of flies swarming around.

Great and cheap food but it’s not gun to eat when there’s 100 flies on and surrounding your food. We literally ordered almost everything on the menu! We live to far away not to make it worth it lol. Corn in a cup awesome! Funnel cake yummm! Diabloto… Ehhh we couldn’t finish it and well we ask for a to go top for the cup or a larger cup to not spill it in the car. And it was an extra 50 cents for the white disposable cups… You should give free lids with the order. There’s no inside to eat so people drive with food it’s common courtesy!!! So flies and charging for to-go lids /cups. Not going back! There’s many of hundreds of frito pie and Corn in a cup places to go to where I don’t have to be annoyed by flying bugs or have to throw away food if I can’t finish it because there’s an extra fee to cover them. Ehhhhhh

BEWARE: IFYOUCOMEDURINGTHEWEEKENDTHISPLACEISPACKED! I came a few times during the weekend and I had to wait in line for about 20 – 25 minutes. However, all the times I was there they had a live band playing and a clown who walked around making balloons for the kids which helped the time past by. Their atmosphere is casual and fun where you can come with friends or family to escape the Houston heat! I usually come here for a snow cone, and might I add, their snow cones are the bomb! They have a wide variety of flavors and their prices are extremely reasonable. As for food, it isn’t anything special. They sell a variety of fruits or regular junk food like nachos/hot dogs. You won’t be expecting a 5 course meal or anything. If you are trying to find a dessert place, I would definitely recommend Flamingo Chill!(But remember the lines do get long, so be prepare to wait)

I have nothing but good things to say about this place! Just remember to bring CASH, they don’t take cards! I got the mocha frappé and my god for $ 3.50 it was 100 times better than anything I’ve ever made at home or bought from Starbucks. I’ve heard they get packed in the spring and summer time though. So go now! :)
