T-Top Nails

I went to this place between jobs and happened to find this really near my afternoon clients. Otherwise I would never be so far outside the loop! This had decent reviews and most importantly a $ 20 shellac. My hands needed some major tlc before going to meet new people so this was a great way to use my lunch break.
I had an older lady who says she just started working there but has been doing nails forever. There was another man doing some acrylic nails next to my station. Neither spoke much english but the woman doing my nails was actually friendly and asked me questions. I always feel really awkward sitting there in silence, especially because doing my nails is sort of a recent thing I’ve started doing and I’m still a little uncomfortable with the idea of someone «serving» me. I know, I know! It’s just nails, but it’s not something I grew up with.
I found a color I like, and while it’s not the best manicure I’ve ever gotten (some polish ended up outside the lines so to speak, I was able to scratch that off and my nails look pretty. She was gentle enough on my cuticles and around some cuts I have on my hands because I’m clumsy and spend a lot of time in the kitchen.
There were definately no frills, no massages, no hand scrubs, etc, but for $ 20 it was a perfect in and out that was exactly what I needed yesterday.

I tried this place in replacement of day nails spa and facial which has awesome reviews. So I tried this place for convenience, and I wasn’t disappointed. Unfortunately I did get nixed once, and if you don’t tell them to be gentle for the deluxe pedicure, a pumice stone will scrape your skin. That was really unpleasant, but after telling Jennifer to go gentle, she was kind and apologetic because so many of her clients like it strong and rough. NOT ME! But after that mishap the pedicure turned out awesome and the manicure was beautiful. I will try this place again.

Yes, this place is cheap, but I would pay more for better quality. I had never been there before but heard great things so I decided to give it a try and treat myself to a mani… NEVER again. The guy who did my nails cut me three times and used his wrist to wipe mucus from his nose. When I complained and said i was going to leave, a lady offered me a free eyebrow wax. The language barrier made it very difficult to explain how I wanted my brows done. (I am very particular about the shape). My left eyebrow is significantly higher than my right. After all that, she asked for a tip! Are you kidding me!!! She’s lucky I even paid. It was a bad decision to go. I will not return.

Great place and excellent service. Shellac lasts for 3 weeks and eyebrow waxing is amazing. I have tried many places in Houston, and maybe this place is not the most fancy one but for sure girls are doing great job. Everybody there is very nice.
The cost of service is very cheap, 20 $ for shellac manicure and 8 $ for eyebrow waxing. BEST PLACE EVER.

Great place, friendly, nice atmosphere. This was my first time going here and I called and explained I have petite hands and Nicole (owner) assured me that they could get the work done. I chose to go here based off the two ladies prior to me who rated a nice place… and they didn’t lie. my hands look amazing and feet feel like silk. Thanks Nicole hubby I love my nails!

Been here 3 times although I absolutely hated my nails the first time and I was in extreme pain when I left because the owner seriously sliced the tip of my finger open with the nail file which led to a second visit the very next day where they guys wife fixed me right up by taking off the acrylic (don’t know what I was thinking) and did a free shellac manicure to make up for the catastrophe. I then visited them a third time about a week ago for their amazing $ 20 Shellac Manicure which is just unheard of price wise in the EC. I was paying $ 35 minimum. I’m pretty satisfied with them and what I spend for their services.

Decided to give this place a try and I am more than glad I did! I found my new go to place. its cheap, the employees are nice, sweet and friendly and most of all they did a great job!
